I haven’t opened my 2007 TC’s sunroof in over 4 years. I am scared! Keep the TC post coming. Any basic upkeep videos will be great.

There's a recall on them too. I guess the early models didn't laminate the glass so if something like a rock or whatever hit it while it was open... 💥

Good Job 👏🏼, some people out there complain about the “Scion tC is an ordinary two door car and it’s not true because it doesn’t have the suspension like the celica but at the of the day it’s still a Toyota, and reliable 😊 and it looks nice 👍🏼,
The fact the Toyota didn’t put a faster engine on them it’s not our problem, enjoy your TC :) and through some Light wheels like the Konig ampliform on it bro 😎 they’re very light and strong the less weight put on it the better the Scion tC run 😁 enjoy your tc

Nice bro I have a 2006 tc just put the konig wheels on there and about to put adjustable coil overs and the Hks exhaust on there I can’t wait I have a lot planned

got a 06 tc in april so far got the muffler the delete with trd exhaust still a little to quite for me plan on getting dual exhaust kit soon
I thought of going dual exit at one point ended up coming across the HKS single and kept it , but I have seen dual tip though they look clean 💯

@@jpckman that’s what they say about mine when they hear it in person they expect to hear alot of rasp . Sounds like a whole different car , you’d be surprised what a good exhaust can do to a Tc.

Those 2 mods alone change the car alot in terms of performance just find a nice header after and youll be good
The lip kit was a factory upgraded option it came on a lot of cars and I have one from my 06 in black. Their was another company that made a catted headed and I did like that over the megan and others on the market but all of those parts are second hand if their still out their.
Your are correct 💯 there was another company that made them but not to many were made because of demand and were discontinued. But if you are lucky to find one second hand get it cause they dont come around to often .

I'm currently searching for a 2014-2016 Scion TC Base with the 6 Speed Manual Transmission for a Winter car and also a new project car I can modify while my Camry is sitting in storage during the long cold Winter months. The first mods are always window tint, window visors and Rear visor that's flush with the rear window not those big oversized Rear window visor. Then an Exhaust, Aftermarket shifter boot and shift knob, Wheels, Coilovers, Cold Air intake, Aftermarket header, Aftermarket steering wheel with an NRG hub and quick release kit racing bucket seats would be nice. Front lip kit, wide Side skirts extensions and a Rear diffuser.
I used to have a 2012 TC good car just had to switch up lol , that’s exactly how it goes start small build the hype go big then theres no going back after that 💯 2012 and up were underrated only tc’s that got a decent widebody made cause the gen 1 widebody you can get is 🤮 lol not a fan .

Looks great! What did you modify to the front tire/rim to make FRS fit? I have a 2009 scion tc and looking at a FRS take off set.

Yo, I plan on buying this same year and model on the market place for $800 and it has a engine knock do you think it’s a scam to be that low and I’ve been talking to the guy, and do you know how to fix a engine knock
Not bad if its a good deal and they are legit about it . Now for the knock either an engine rebuild, or a new engine all together. All come down to choice

I did and it did do the job up until I started road tripping. The new one plays dvds

My sun roof doesn’t work ! I don’t know what’s wrong the lights on the hub still work but when I press the down arrow nothing happens soy boricua 🇵🇷

The sun roof of mine sometimes get stuck but i did get to get it close again why does it get stuck like that 🤔
Usually its the motor going out or the proper maintenance that’s required to keep them going hasn’t been done

What happened to it ?
Nothing really it ran great over 300k I think it as around 400k no problem but I kinda wanted a bigger car so I traded to a charger but I can’t stop thinking about my tc I loved the roof and how it looks when the tops opens with that little window flap but ok get one again
The pioneers sounded good ?I have a sub in there aswell I went with kickers in my 07 they bump
I had kickers before too in my last whip before the Tc 👌🏼 pioneers to me always sound good underrated speaker forsure

Oh yea definitely these years and model Tc all had a burning oil issue , I always keep mine topped off for that reason besides that zero issues 👌🏼
The 1AZ is notorious for being an oil burner. Both the tC and the Corolla carry this same burden.
Yea the issue got fixed later on in the newer models but as long as you keep up with maintenance your golden 👌🏽

Thanks man 🙏🏼 I got the visors at a shop in Cali when I use to stay out there . But I’m sure they are available on amazon aswell there’s different types depending on what you’re going for .
I got an 09 and i wanna mod it like urs so baddd but it’s hard finding the parts for them 😭
It is pretty hard to find parts , main places I go are amazon, fb , and sometimes ebay. Most shops I went to either had or didn’t have the parts I wanted .

where did you get your body kit?
Its the kit that came on some models that were released. I know the kit thats on it now were sold from factory but can be purchased on Amazon I believe .
