Light On Whirlpool Microwave Will Not Turn Off - Replacing The Control Board

While working on an apartment, I noticed the bulb on the microwave was burned out. After replacing it, the light wouldn't change. It's supposed to either be full, half or off. It was stuck on full.
The issue is with the control board. The triac on the board that controls the lights went bad. You can solder a new triac on (they aren't very expensive $10 for like 8) or you can get a replacement board for pretty cheap on Amazon ($50 or so). Here's a quick video where I swapped out the whole control board since they had one on hand in storage.
This is a pretty quick and easy thing to do, and it's A LOT cheaper than replacing the microwave.
