#PS5 #XBSX #MONITORS - Hry
I think youâve helped me make a decision on my next monitor. I was really hoping to hold out for the 4K 120âs, but with the chip shortage etc, they are few and far between. I already have 4k 60hz LG 32ul500-W, itâs just a bigger version of the 27â you mentioned, and I love it. However, I really want to be able to experience the higher frame rates when playing some of my favorite BRâs, and with cross-play basically being a thing now, consoles have been at a severe disadvantage. I feel that holding out for those 4k 120hz monitors is more an expensive novelty at this point when I can just get a 1080 or 1440p 144hz monitor between 300 and 400 dollars and get the same game experience. I can compensate resolution by simply using an HDMI switch between the two monitors.
Also when it comes right down to the nitty gritty, just because the console can do 4k at 120hz doesnât mean the games your playing are coded that way. The game has to be coded to support the frame rate and resolution and 1080 and 1440 are more likely to stay closer to 120fps, while 4k is likely to experience frame drops to between 90 and 100 FPS.
Thank you for this video! Have followed your advice on many purchases
I make nothing off of any purchases. Here are my top selections for monitors on the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft. Stay awesome đ

The Eve Spectrum is using an LG panel and they also had BlurBusters come in to make an Eve Spectrum specific tuning package (each of the 3 different monitors will be tuned specific to their specifications) to make it as accurate as possible, which will come with all of the Eve monitors including the ability to personally fine tune yourself, if you so choose to do so, along with all the other upgraded features like running two devices at once while using split screen, 100W USB-C power for charging or powering another device.
Also, I was surprised to not see the Gigabyte M27Q monitor for the 1440P option for $320 on Amazon Prime. It has a 27" 2560x1440 SS IPS Display, 170Hz Refresh Rate, 0.5ms (MPRT) Response Time, AMD FreeSync Premium, HDR400, 92% DCI-P3 (140% sRGB) Color Gamut, KVM switch for using multiple devices and an OSD Sidekick for those using M&K.

I have the ps5 and have been looking at the fi32u and the fv43 , I play alot of apex. Do you have any input that can help me?
Highly recommend that your 1440p monitor is compatible to scale to 4k resolution. Only monitors on this list that do are the gigabyte and Asus tuff. Since the PS5 cant display a native 1440p res. There's a list on Reddit of monitors that do.
What do you mean by that, because I have a G27Q from Gigabyte and it's a 1440 144hz and when I plug my ps5 in it says it's 4k in the monitor settings, now obviously I know it's not actually 4k but does this mean it's receiving the 4k input from my ps5 and down scaling it to 1440?

This is really half-assed done.
Just because they claim the monitor has a 1ms responce time doesn't mean it actually hits that. I would love it if reviewers and those that recommend monitors do more research on the real responce time for each monitor. None of the monitors mentioned here are on the top list of monitors. I would had included the Odyssey G7 which is the closest to a 1MS responce time than any of the monitors mentioned here.
The G7 is not a 4K monitor dude. Why would you wanna play at 1440p when 6ou can play at 4K @120hz?
*response
Go for the benQ zowie monitor if play anything fast paced like shooters.
Ok nerd
I don't understand the hate here. "None of the monitors here are on the top list of monitors." Whose list? Which content creators? The LG 27GP950-B and/or LG 27GN950-B are consistently listed as top monitors for PS5/Xbox Series X because of the Nano IPS and HDMI 2.1 ports. Better than anyone I've seen so far, Air Bear clarified why HDMI 2.1 is important: it is the only HDMI output capable of pushing 4K@120Hz. I think your vitriol is misplaced. You're upset Air Bear is not digging into specs regarding 1MS response time, but a bigger issue is console specs themselves. Why did it take Sony a year to finally update their PS5 firmware to support 1440P? Instead of cursing the darkness, light a candle. You could create a video comparing monitor response times. You have the knowledge and you're passionate about it.

Question, how exactly do you "pick" your favorites? Like are they better in some way? So why would I pick the viewsonic over something like the lg27gl850 for example?
To me one of the biggest improvements panels have gotten in the past year was the Nano IPS Technology that LG innovated. These new panels are capable of IPS color and accuracy while almost attaining TN panel speeds and several monitor manufacturers are buying up these new panels and using them in new designs. So in my selections you'll notice several monitors that are IPS panels with that 1ms G2G or MSRT pixel response time. I do believe that getting IPS instead of TN is amazing especially when you don't have to compromise on the performance end of the spectrum. Hope that helps
@@AirBearGaming Yeah definitely, after having bought my first IPS panel monitor 4 years ago I just can't go back to TN. I think I'm gonna end up buying the LG27GP850-B. Absolutely right those are amazing
Is there any point in getting a 4k 120 monitor for the ps5? Like, will the ps5 give 120 fps on 4k res?
Yes but youâll be paying at least $900 for it
It will not do 4k 120 at the same time
I have a quick question. So I just got my series x, and my current monitor is an Asus VG248QE, 1080p, 144hz trace free. However, when I go into the settings in my Xbox it only allows me to play 60hz. Any solutions?
Maybe cuz of the game you play like war zone in ps5 can be 144hz
All the mention monitors support ps5
120 hz ?
I have benq XL2411p and it canât be more than 60hz
So the AOC C32G1 says 1ms response but you said 4ms, do you mean 4ms at max Res and Hz?
Cq32g1 32 inch is 4ms I just saw it on Amazon
The 1m delay is a 1080p and the 1440 is 4 ms
Where is LGCX, even it isnât monitor, but can run 4K 120hz, and itâs Oled ?
I wan't to buy myself a monitor and i've heard lg ultragear is doing a fin job but im stuck in taking the decision on what size to choose 27" or 32". What do you recommend me?
24-27 range is the most efficient
All too small, I'm sat at stretched arms length away from a 42" screen. Looking for something HDMI 2.1 around 32" - 43" for both work and PS5. There are options just not enough yet.
For HDMI 2.1 4K 120 monitors youâll probable pay like $1500 for thatâs like 3 times the price of a ps5, just letting you know
Surprised the HP X24iH isn't on this list
Anyone know when the LG ULTRAGEAR 27GP950-b will be back in stock?
Make sure your sources are right. I looked at the asus tuff monitor and it has hdmi 2.0 not 2.1
So if Iâm getting this right. I got a ps5 and wanna get a 1080p 144hz monitor I donât wanna get one bigger than a 25â
I have the benq ex2510 and I use it for my ps5 for like 5 months now.. I gotta tell you guys.. this is simply the best monitor.. I still canât believe itâs price! Itâs just so good and powerful wow! it really seems like a 500$ monitor
I bought this during cyber Monday sales. $300aud with free shipping.
what size monitor did you buy.
@@philipsalmon2026 25inch
@@AussieZeKieL I the 27" work the same ?
@@philipsalmon2026 yes, but the 27â is still 1080p.
Keep making videos and don't stop. Now I know which monitor to get for the Ps5!
Thanks for the feedback...for more information.

Guys the specs of hdmi ports given in the start are not true some can be achieved only over display port fir pc so do your own reseach and ps5 cannot give 120 fps on hdmi 1.4. One monitor I recommend that will work is benq ex2780q its a 100% working 120@1440p for xbsx
