Let’s go fishing
In the off season you guys could do boat rebuilding for other boats!
Helps if you can get a barrel, or something fairly close to the radius you're wanting..
Barrel work well as long as it doesn't have the support ridges rolled into the 55 gallon drun.
Then take 2 to 3, 2" wide ratchet straps, and start your metal aroud the barrel.
Then pull slack out of each strap until it puts pressure on the metal, and slowly take a pull on each strap with the barrel laying on it's side.
Continue until metal you're bending is pulled tightly against the barrel.
Slowly release straps on each end of the barrel, leaving center strap in place..
Loosen it up far enough to slide barrel free, and replace two straps on each end pulling until equal force applied to metal.
Slowly taken straps with the metal standing on end with you cap piece to reference the amount of radius you're needing.
Go past the radius of the cap by slight bit, and loosen straps until you can remove them, and verify the radius of metal to the radius you physically have so that it fits snuggly into the curve.
If you have a tailor's soft tape measure, you can figure the length of metal that you need for radius.
Leaving few extra inches to possibly trim if needed.
That's another method to achieve slightly better radius bends without the inconsistent bending process y'all used, as you'll have a piece with true radius without the slight flatness in multiple places y'all have now.
If it over rolls the radius your needing, simply place curve of radius upwards.
Then apply equal pressure with each had slightly in from edges and slightly push the center of radius back towards the ground, and check the fitment until it lays snuggly into radius without the ends trying to loose contact with whatever you are attaching it to.
Trim if needed either one end or both depending on fitment to adjoining pieces on either end.
Future reference should you have further need of forming such a puece of metal.
Works equally as well for wrapping columns steel exhaust pipe if need be.
Add it as heat sheilds by making standoffs to attach to either the exhaust piping or the rolled piece itself to allow air to flow in between the two.
Just remember to hold it off any structure the exhaust may pass through to allow free airflow to pass between the two.

Do you folks have any ideas to share yet as to how the deck equipment will be set up? You will have so much more room to locate the equipment.
Do you think those bandit reels you use for cod and rock fish would work for power trolling salmon... I'm here on the great lakes which has turned gin clear from the invasive mussels.. a lot of our tournaments are won fishing very deep but 250' about the limit with 20lb ball and that's burning up motors .. need a reel holds 30lb ball at least... I know they make a cheaper hand crank model.. what do you think?
