@@ihcterra4625 it could be a copy. They do make those you know. They don’t sell for anywhere near what the real one does, but people make forgeries all the time. Yes I know the real one is in France. The point I’m trying to make is that the thumbnail picture shows a painting being brought into the store. It isn’t in the video, and it should be.

Can't seem faker than a guy asking $200,000 for a float or that Wells Fargo box that looks like it was made yesterday.
Videos like this show just how much padding you can get out of taking one of the stars to the back and filming them saying some variation of, "I really want this for the shop, but I've got to make sure I get it for a good price."

These people are plain dumb. If an expert tells you a comic is worth 60k and you had it graded. Then ffs put it in an auction for 60k don't give it to a pawn shop. ( assuming these are not all scripted actors )
A couple of things many forget about auctions..... . if the right bidders (it takes two) aren't there, you don't get your price, and the biggie is, after you get your price, the auction house takes their commission. That can be 35 to 50 percent......
Auctions take "Time, research, and take a commision of the money" and sometimes don't even sell at auction the 1st time.

They are almost all scripted actors. The pawn shop actually does not buy ANY of the stuff they show on television. It's all a set up.

As someone with an offical stamped 90s pro set football card autograph of Gayle Sayers I can tell that one on that ball was fake fake fake. He has an easily identifiable auto as can be see across multiple items signed by him, especially in the G in his name.
I am suspect of the expert that came in to identify the football signatures.

Paid actor brings in "fake" while the shop is closed and they are filming. Ivquit watching yhis show after the first couple of seasons. Being someone who loves history, I was tired of seeing all of the Revolutionary and Civil War documents people found in the 1960s built home in Vegas.
