In that video the translation is not only messed up, the pictures also show something else , sometimes from other countries, and the archipelago of Helgoland in reality shows at first Berlin then the Norwegian Lofoten archipelago, the coastline of Warnemünde ( which he completely messed up) in spelling and pronounciation , shows a mediteranian rocky cost. Different landscape different water, different botanic. I think i found nothing matching here. Completely made AI made? Even the museum was Norway instead, where thy have this huge pacific crabs, spreading out from russia ( who imported them under Stalins reign to the atlantic connected Barent Sea 60 years ago, and now they overpopulate Norwegian fish grounds, eating up the whole residential animals)
Oh it gets even worse, no one eats fishburges here, while he says Sylt and shows some baltic city, .The baddest video i have ever seen NOTHING is correct. The words don't fit the picture, and even the text messes up wrong facts and names to totally wrong pictures. The pictures of Rügen show Frankfurt at first, then an American harbor city., Then there is a russian city with those iconic Russian golden church tower. You were right Hamburg shows Venice and it goes on and on.

I have no idea who recommended this video to you, but it's just bad.
The automatic text program is just annoying and the imported photos often have nothing to do with the places presented. For example, the canal with the gondolas was in Venice and not in Hamburg.
I'm really sorry but you've been fooled with this video.

Dear, Deutschland is the German name for Germany...what you typed is the Dachshund (badger dog), in German named Dackel, a Wiener Dog.
The Rostock was built in the 13th century.
The fishburger can be purchased in the whole close-to-the coast area. You DO NOT put freaking ketchup on it. Rather tartar sauce.
    11:43...IT IS Venice.
The L$#SpecialCharU$# thing ist the German "Umlaut" "Ü" pronounced like this: czcams.com/video/Nsa54xzyJhM/video.html

  • @foxtrotromeo4876
    @foxtrotromeo4876 Před 8 měsíci +11

Lol, the $#SpecialCharU%# is apparently the auto generated transcription not handling the German Umlaute very well :D In that case it's a "Ü", so "Warnem$#SpecialCharU%#nde" = "Warnemünde". Love the confusion, though ;D

2:13 That is supposed to be "Lübeck". Whoever did this video, using an AI voice, did a very poor job at checking the end result.
I wonder if a human has created this video at all. It does look like a 100% AI generated product.
It does look like the pictures have NOTHING to do with the text, in any case. CAse in point, I don't know what the place in 4:12 is, but it is most definititely not Heligoland.
I'm afraid this video is AI generated clickbait, from start to finish.

  • @nichtthunder

11:16 You definetly need to react to the Miniaturwunderland in Hamburg, it's probably one of Hamburgs biggest attractions, and it's a popular travel destination for people from all over the country.
It'd be honestly incredibly hard to find a German who hasn't at the very least heard of it.
Also to answer your question about these weird words with the $ signs, it's probably that the there were troubles displaying the German special characters of Ä Ö Ü and ß. That's unfortnuatly something which happens relatively often and is pretty annoying when for example non-German Websites don't accept these characters in usernames, passwords, etc.

Most of the shown places have nothing to do with the places the voice was talking about. I am not even sure if the pictures were from Germany as I never saw some of them - also I've been at those places for sure! So: Not a great video you reacted to! Nice reaction, but the video is a fail for me!

The most were north-east, far away. Hamburg came closest. But from Hamburg to the danish border are 170km (107miles).
We are really proud of beeing the 'reel north', so you have to search for:
    Flensburg, Schleswig, Husum.

The troubles of automatically created text.
The beach is called "Warnemünde Beach", but the autogenerate couldn't handle the german "umlaut".
The Warnemünde Strand is said to be the widest sandy beach on the German baltic coast, and the famous historic lighthouse is not the one shown in the image. Maybe they just used a stock-photo... the real thing is a lot more, hm... beachy. (I'm not 100% sure, but the video seems to use a lot of imagery that doesn't come from the mentioned regions.)
12:30 Same problem here... city is called "Lübeck".
Interestingly... the managed to circumvent that problem with location 4... by calling the island of "Rügen"... Rugen. And even more interesting... the software didn't seem to have a problem with the "cliffs of Königsstuhl".
The "Hamburger" isn't a traditionally food from Hamburg. The origin are not completely clear, and there may be an original variant that uses a slice of roast meat in a bun that comes from Hamburg. But the variant with the fried minced meat patties seems to be an American invention.
Hamburg is an important harbour and all of the other towns and regions on the North Sea or Baltic coast used to depend a lot on fishing and maritime industry. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that fish features very heavily in the local cuisine.
And if you don't object to fish in general... try it. It's really good.

  • @stef987

Seafood and beaches are rather things of the "northern North". I live in Northern Germany, too, but we don't have the maritime culture here. You won't find any of that in the Harz, either. From where I live, it's 2 to 3 hours to the sea by car, depending on where you go. Rügen for example would be more than 4 hours away. Hamburg would be about 2 hours.
Northern Germany is relatively flat, mountains are more found in the South.
    I think 12:00 is in fact Venice.😉

You are really looking at the very last tourist advertisements. If you should come to Germany, then don't let yourself be lured into such tourist traps.
Explore Germany on your own. For 49€ per calendar month, you can use all regional public transport except the Intercity express trains (IC, ICE). Or rent a car and drive around on the autobahns - there are brown signs for every landmark and historic place, town centre ... where it's worth checking out. And everywhere there are walking and cycling paths to take you the last bit.
You don't have to see Neuschwanstein, there are thousands of other castles and palaces, many of which you can visit for free. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is quite pretty, but full of tourists - there are thousands of other small towns that have beautiful old town centres and not a soul on the road except the locals. At the North Sea they charge you 5 or 6€ just to see the beach - at the Baltic Sea there are large parts where there is no one and with a bit of luck you can find an amber souvenir.
If you only go to tourist attractions, you miss most of it, lose a lot of money and end up with a photo of something that 100 million others have photographed from exactly the same direction. 😉
