An Americal friend once asked me to watch a webcam from Ocean City, MD. He asked me if i noticed anything....and I hesitated to say: I see a lot of overweight folks slowly moving towards the beach. So I came up with some polite things. And each time he said, "anything else...? Don't be afraid if it's negative..." He meant the obesity. You don't see that many obese people in Germany, so it strikes you instantly. I was greeted on the other side by two workers who probably thought I was trying to enter without a ticket. Fun Fact
"Wiener Schnnitzel" is like a Trademark sort of.
Wiener Schnitzel has to be made out of veal which is like calf meat.
You are not allowed to serve "Wiener Schnitzel" which is made out of pork or etc.
As a restaurant owner your guests could take legal actions against you.
Because of this you will often see "Schnitzel (nach) Wiener Art" .

Great video. The shot of Mikey on the mountain at 7:27 is nothing short of amazing. Very well done!

You became a good tour guide!!! By the way: Schnitzel in Deutschland ist oft kein Wiener Schnitzel.

So cool they enjoyed all the first time experience stuff.
Schwabisch Hall being just like a movie decor, good food and great beer.
The coins thing is a bit of a German thing, still (?) holding on to the 1 and 2 cent coins. But then in the USA you also got the small coins going on. Most of the time I toss them in the tip jar on the counter.
Being Dutch here in The Netherlands we just tap our bank card when paying. Fast and simple. 😁

Corona enhanced the acceptance of card payment in small shops such as bakeries.
Unfortunately, Germany still is developing when it comes to cashless payment in parking areas, the Sanifair thing or other infrastructural places.

@@steinimmobilien they still have a way to go.
Was on a holiday in Germany for the last two years.
A woman in a bakery explained to me that the banks still charge a relatively high amount per electronic transaction for small payments.
I think that's also one of the causes.
