New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABF...
This video shows you how to install front brake pads and rotors on your 2012-2020 Nissan Pathfinder. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2013 Nissan Pathfinder
    2014 Nissan Pathfinder
    2015 Nissan Pathfinder
    2016 Nissan Pathfinder
    2017 Nissan Pathfinder
    2018 Nissan Pathfinder
    2019 Nissan Pathfinder
    2020 Nissan Pathfinder

I can say with 100% certainty that no shop is going to that extent in cleaning everything during a brake job.

Not only do I appreciate how thorough your process is, I like that you use words like "carefully" and "Gently," two words generally not associated with mechanics or auto repair. Cheers and keep up the great work

This guy never fail to impress me with his knowledge and expertise but most importantly his ability to IMPART his knowledge. So easy to listen to. He doesn’t leave out important specs such as bolt size and torque Thank you so much. Great camera work as well.

Great video! Wastes no time, he's clear and concise in communication and illustrations. Very informative. One of the best automotive videos I've seen. This is the only youtube video I have ever commented because the quality is note worthy

Excellent detail as usual, even my wife was intrigued to have me stop the video and ask me questions. I am going to do the front brakes on my 2019 QX60 and since I am recovering from back surgery, my doting wife will be assisting with the heavy lifting and torqueing.

I love these guys, you can see everything they are doing with the great camerawork, they make sure to mention the size of the bolts and or tools needed and offer alternatives if you don’t have access to certain tools. I always laugh when Len says “a little bonk”. Thanks guys I learn something new every time.

The way you loosen the piston makes no sense to me and puts a ton of pressure on the wheeled and break mechanism. Why not use a clam once you’ve removed the caliper?

Do you not have to relieve pressure by removing the fluid cap or opening the bleeder valve when compressing the caliper pistons?

Funny i look up these vids mostly for the torque specs because they mechanics too and google will have non mechanics tell you like 5 torque specs that are WILDLY inconsistent too.

When you compress the pistons, does it push the brake fluid out of the brake reservoir?

@1:19 I like that! That's genius! I'm not a professional mechanic, that must be why I've never seen that trick before. Well this actually work on all cars? Even the ones with the Pistons that you have to turn while you push in? 🤔🤔🤔
(I'm going to take a guess and say no since there's a tool to do it for you LOL)
