For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
It's still surreal to me how all 3 villains from the Sam Raimi- Tobey Maguire trilogy interacted with each other in this movie.
That's not nearly the most surreal thing. Those villains interacting with the ones from the Andrew Garfield movies not to mention Doctor Strange is crazy. This could've easily been like a Saturday Night Live sketch but thankfully they pulled it off..
otto and goblin intteract with eachother and knew eachother for sure in the trilogy even if we didnt see it
I felt like such a little kid whenever one of the villains or Spider-Men meet people from the other universes. It's just something about them meeting that gets me excited
Go reds
This is the first time Alfred and Willem interacted in character. The second disc for Spiderman 2 showed them sharing a laugh together after Willem wore the arms and performed Alfreds lines for the scene when the fusion reactor went out of control.
This movie finally got them together, which was something I always wanted to see.
I really love the way Flint Marko says "they both died, fighting Spider-Man" it makes Tobey's Spider-Man sound like a punisher type of guy
To be fair marko did interact with the symbioted up aggressive spiderman in 3. I wouldn't put it past him to believe spiderman killed the other 2 like he tried killing him
Sandman was probably out there somewhere in the 1st and 2nd movie and like he said he saw it on the news
He heard it from the news so it was most probably stated in the news that they died fighting Spider-Man, weren't aware of how exactly it played out
@@GetTheCornNuts Which is actually a huge plot hole. If Goblin being killed by his own glider was "all over the news", how did Harry not know about it until his Butler told him in Spider-Man 3?
@@Suthek Because Harry wouldn't believe that version of what happened. What do you think the Daily Bugle would say? Harry believed the worst about Spider-Man, and never wanted to believe his own father could be evil. He didn't make peace with what really happened until he heard it from Bernard, who loved his father and had no reason to lie.
I just love how Electro telling his story like he is so proud of it. Then realise he is going to die
😹😹
Electro: lmao you guys failed to kill spiderman, unlike me who about to kill spiderman but then... holy shit, am I failed to ?...
I was whopping Spider-Man’s ass 😎 and then he cause an overreaction, I was absorbing data about to become pure energy and then… and then uh… oh shit, I was gonna die 😐
Dr. Conners didn't die. He was turned back to normal, after his plan to mutate New York failed. The cops took him into custody, and then, he was taken to Ravencroft.

I have to say. The actors in this movie really nailed their roles after all of these years . It’s like they never even left.
That's one of the reasons no other Spider-Man live films have ever brought the same characters back, aside from Harry Osborn becoming the Green Goblin. Yes, Webb had Norman in the film but he never became his counterpart because although he thought about making the Green Goblin come back to the screen, he didn't want to impose on Dafoe's perfection of the role hence why it was Harry who became the Goblin instead.
It's a respectful of not only giving other Spider-Man villains a chance to shine but acknowledging that sometimes remaking something doesn't mean remaking everything about it is necessary. Why not let Harry be the first Goblin instead? It's a nice twist but it doesn't tread on Dafoe's role one bit because it's a new take.
@@Tigressa101: I totally agree. Live action is not something you should really mess with. Cartoons and anime is something different.
@@Tigressa101: Plus the way they brought everyone back in this movie was absolute genus. I never thought I would ever see a Spider Man movie like this in my lifetime.
@@Tigressa101 didn’t Kevin Feige also say that’s a reason they never attempted the Goblin or Doc Ock in Tom Holland’s first two movies? I think they wanted to use villains we hadn’t seen before regardless, but another reason was because he felt he couldn’t top Dafoe’s and Molina’s takes on the characters.
that movie was mainly boring , too casual, Holland's Spiderman/Parker wasn't as interesting as Tobey Maguire but when Dafoe's Buffoon is on the scene , the movie suddenly become badass and entertaining
I like how the one who was most curious if he lived or died and willing to accept it, was the one who didn't die in his universe.

And I love the scene where Doc Ock recognized Norman, and how it almost perfectly mirrored the scene in Spiderman PS4 where Norman sees what became of Otto and seems horrified at it.
What I love about this scene is how it paints Spider-Man the character as whole compared to the MCU.
Tom Holland (Peter 1) is still a young superhero trying to prove himself in a world with the Avengers and has only been active for about 5-6 years. But “Spider-Man” as a whole here is painted as this legendary hero among the multiverse who faced and defeated many foes.
Imagine being in Tom’s shoes and hearing “they died fighting Spider-Man.” It’s got to be both surreal and haunting for a young hero like him.
All of which comes in the midst of him being framed for Mysterio's death.
Man let the lizard speak 🗣 😂
Sandman painted Spider-Man in bad lighting. As if he killed all of his villains

Norman's reaction of "Fascinating" in regards to MJ being Michelle Jones rather than Mary Jane has always been to me when the realization hits for him that the reason that Oscorp doesn't exist in that universe is probably due to his and Harry's counterparts having different names altogether.

Sandman was the first villain that I actually felt bad for. Usually when other villain loses I'd be like "yeah!" but when I watched Spiderman 3 for the first time years ago, watching that scene where it was revealed that Sandman didn't mean to kill Peter's uncle and that he did crime to save his daughter before turning into a cloud of sand and disappearing brought tears to my eyes.
Have you wonder that sandman was going to mention about venom since he last witness him getting blown up.

I love how at 0:47 when Norman asks Otto what he means by his comment about being the walking corpse you can clearly see that Norman is genuinely shocked, but after Otto elaborates you see Norman smiling in a cocky manner and telling him he's insane. That's not Norman who responds but the Green Goblin, who is refusing even the notion that he somehow died or was capable of dying after gaining so much power. I love how subtle the shift is and shows how great of an actor Dafoe is.
Geez I never even noticed! That's SO, FREAKIN, GOOD. Like he just sounds like he's surprised but realizing it was the Goblin responding, with that tone, it's just...fan, tastic.

Sandman and Lizard never died. They are the only ones in this movie who didn't die fighting Spider-Man in their universes.

The Green Goblin's death being all over the news means that Harry was just in denial though the second and third films.
Or that his butler told the media the truth after Harry’s death in Spider-Man 3.
Harry missed that broadcast
That means he was going through the stages of grief like his father was after the board gave him the axe. And they both end with the sixth stage of grief: Revenge
Nah Harry watches the Daily Bugle aka Jameson who blamed Spider-Man for Norman's death saying that the glider was fake news while everyone else reported the truth
TBH this movie has the luxury of multiple universes and their backdoors: meaning the Norman we see here might not even be the exact same Norman we saw in Spider-Man 2002. Maybe his death was treated differently in whatever universe he's from. But obviously, it was done so Sandman could give exposition.
Throughout their interactions Octavius & Osborn, never for a second feel like their meeting for the first time (which they technically are); it literally feels like two men who've had a casual working relationship up to this point. While the same can probably be said for Max & Connors, with these two it's more layered & more nuanced
It's only the first time meeting on screen. It's all but certain they knew each other very well. In his movie, he even mentions how Oscorp helped with his project. Given how small the elite scientific community is and the fact that Osborn and Octavius were based in New York, it's a mathematical certain they had know each other for years, or decades.
I remember that Harry had access to the tritium that Otto used for fuel, but I don't think Otto knew Norman in the original films. I think that was lifted from Insomniac's Spider-Man.
@@MMTrigger Oh no, they never say that Ock knew Norman. I just inferred it and gave my reasons.
@@MMTrigger Given how the science community is in the films, it's most likely that they met a couple of times at a few conferences.

Him waking up shocked could have just been him reacting to being hit by the police car. That's why it doesn't make sense why the spell brought him to MCU
Geesh the interaction between Osborn and Doc Oct. They both knew each other from their works as scientists. Literal chills seeing that they were never supposed to meet under their circumstances.

1:45 watching this again makes me love this movie so much because I never notice the smallest details. Electro literally has a new body and his teeth are all perfect yet he still talks like he still has his buck teeth before he became Electro. Well done to Jaimie Foxx and the rest of the villain cast, as if they haven't changed from their roles all these years.
What? Electro was the biggest change from his first role.
My favorite detail is the very subtle shift Willem Dafoe does between the vocals for Norman and the Goblin. Most of the scene is Normans voce, but "Octavius?" and "You're insane" are delivered with the Goblin's rasp. You even hear a little of it creep into the "Fascinating..." line.

20 year separation, but it works.
As great as it was for Otto and Peter to interact with each other years later, would have liked for him and Norman to have done the same after the final battle
There was actually a deleted part of the final battle where Tobey and Green Goblin faced off.
Norman and Peter didn't have the same warm relationship that Peter and Otto had.
@@nikunjdixit1175 True, but as Norman is the father of Peter's best friend, as well as both being men of science, and of course, being Peter's first-ever adversary, it would have been nice for them to reconnect.
It's amazing to see the Spider-Man villains discussing their deaths from their respective movies. It looked better with the flashbacks, but it's still cool seeing them as friends👍
You could find the flashbacks in CZcams, its better than the final cut.
The closest you get to the BTAS episode Almost Got ‘Em in which the villains share their experiences with fighting the hero. Imagine if they used a similar approach with Sinister Six.
I love electro's story how he realizes that he was about to die
Oh shit, I was about to die 😂
Ambatublow
An interaction I love the most that I see overlooked is the small one between MJ and Norman. Norman comparing the common consistencies with the slight small differences between them is is cool to me. Noticing all Peter Parkers have an MJ, though the name is completely different. Small but cool detail
It is unfairly overlooked by whoever still won't grasp that Feige had no interest in rehashing Mary Jane since he wanted a very different character and I'm so happy that this was the scene that finally confirmed Michelle Jones as her own character despite some not getting that.
Electro's realization seems funny the way it's delivered but think about it. Otto realized it when it occured to him he blinked out of his universe but Electro actually says "I was about to die."
Not "I died" but "I was about to die."
Otto and Norman were so involved in the fight they didn't see their death coming, but Electro, given a moment to look back, realized what he was doing was about to kill him. He knew
Max: “I was whooping Spider-Man’s ass! I was about to turn into pure energy and then- oh sh*t I was about to die…”

Electro was unapologetically black in this timeline and I love it.

The acting in this movie showcases the best of each character. The writers of this movie did a phenomenal job with character interaction and character development
It's unfortunate it got down by Snyder Cut which was a rehash of a movie already done in 2018
1:48 That might seal up the plot hole. Electro was the only one not to know Spidey was Peter Parker. But if he absorbed data, then perhaps he got enough off the grid to pull facts together. Saw Cyborg do that sort of thing with Batman and Wonder Woman.

With Otto, it's okay - he drowned with his device. Such a good story, such an amazing cast, amazing nostalgia, amazing action, fantastic world building, I could go on forever. Every time I see a clip from here I'm reminded at just how fun it was to see this in theaters. It's one of the only films I went back to see again in IMAX (my city doesn't have an IMAX theater and had the opportunity to go to one). I honestly put this film on level with The Dark Knight, Infinity War, and Endgame. These are what superhero movies aspire to be.
Did you make a soy face while typing this out?
@@De7Sanchez Come on man, why you gotta roast him? He’s passionate about something he enjoys, let him cook.
"Do you think there are other Ned Leeds'?"
Trust me bud, you might not like what you find, either boring or EVIL.
From this video, I realized that they are not only from different universes, but also from different timelines.
Imagine being Peter in this moment, learning that another version of you killed half of the people in that room. Up to that point Peter only killed Mysterio and even that is up to debate. Must have been surreal
Quentin Beck got himself killed by because he had all the drones in that overhead tunnel going after Peter. Beck was in the strike zone, and one of the damaged drones did a misfire, striking Beck. There was a reason he got fired from Stark Industries, mental instability.
It makes sense why he was hesitant meeting his alter egos.
All he knows of them is apparently they've just been running around merking their villains .
Flint Marko (Sandman) and Curt Connors (Lizard) did not died in their own movies. Instead...
1.) In Spider-Man 3 (2007 movie) Sandman flew away after Eddie Brock's (Venom) death, and he told Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man truth about Uncle Ben Parker's death
2.) The Lizard got arrested after Spider-Man launched the antidote to turn everyone back to normal, and also George Stacy's death during the fight.
This scene is pretty dark. And I also love how Flint Marko keeps his cool all the time, making the moment extremely effective when he tells them the cold truth.
Fun fact: In the Spider-Man 2 novelization, Doc Oc’d death was a lot more brutal. Originally he was written to have died after being “boiled to death” after going into the water with his machine
I WILL NOT DIE A MONSTER ! Then heroically boils to death.
The novelizations were always far more brutal than the movies.
For Example:
The hospital scene from the 2nd movie was extremely gory and bloody in the novelization. They actually described how the arms mutilated the doctors and nurses rather than just throw them around the room.
Another example would be Venom. His death in the novelization was almost included in the movie but was scrapped. He was impaled and the symbiote revealed to Spider-Man that it already absorbed Brock and left him with nothing but his skeletal figure.
“Max, do you know, do I die?”
IDK why I love that line for some reason😂😂
I love how when all the villains are coming to the conclusion that almost all of them died Lizard who is one of the few villains who didn’t die asks “wait do I also die?” 💀💀
We don't know from what moment in time the Lizard was taken, i think at some point he escape the prison and died fighting spiderman to, same for sandman
I just realized when I saw this in theaters, the only villains that came back died, and the only 2 that survived the (actual actors) are not there
If there's any issue I had with Octavius and Marko explaining what happened to Norman is they both act like it was common knowledge that Norman Osborn was the Green Goblin.
But, no. That WASN'T public knowledge. Now, Marko knowing Octavius was Doc Ock, THAT was public knowledge.
Considering that Norman supposedly died around the same time that Spider-Man fought the Green Goblin, it’s possible that people eventually put 2 and 2 together
Also, Sandman said both deaths were on the news.
If that’s true, then how come Harry hasn’t seen the evidence?
Really wished that Mysterio had appeared (faking his death at the end of FFH and thus maintaining a continuity) and forming the Sinister Six and finally a Doctor Strange vs Mysterio.... Man, it could have topped Endgame.
Best MCU movie since Civil War
1:42 I was whooping spider man ass 😂😂😂
Norman Osborn/Green Goblin in Spider-Man: Killed by his own glider
Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus (or Doc Ock for short) in Spider-Man 2: Drowned in the river with his machine
Harry Osborn/New Goblin in Spider-Man 3: Also killed by his own glider, but was used by Venom
Flint Marko/Sandman in Spider-Man 3: Survived
Eddie Brock Jr in Spider-Man 3: Died in an explosion along with the Symbiote that made him Venom
Curt Connors/Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man: Survived but was arrested
Max Dillon/Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Died from overload
Harry Osborn/Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Survived but arrested
Alexei Sytsevich/Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Unknown
Adrian Toomes/Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming: Arrested & then transported into the universe of Morbius
Quentin Beck/Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home: Died during the drone attack in London, but revealed Peter Parker to be Spider-Man prompting the events of this movie
The Rhino possibly death or he survived
Shocker was arrested too.
@@jaredruff9823 I completely forgot about The Shocker.
Thank you.
@@Nicksolo85 I didn't think you would've cared.
It's not a coincidence that Norman Osbourne and Otto Octavius know each other they worked together and probably went to college together.
You ever have those moments in life where you ask someone a question but they don't answer, might not even heard you, and you're basically left in the dark?
That how I felt when Connors asked if he dies.
Pretty sure Peter 3 gave him closure later on. I mean, unlike the others, reversing him had already been done XD
Green Goblin : Killed by His Glider
Doc Ock : Drown Into The River
Venom : Exploded
Electro : Exploded
Mysterio : Killed by His Drones
The slowly playing Goblin theme in the background is absolutely amazing.
I don't care who is in this movie or who isn't, I adore this movie.
So do I. In fact, it is by far the best Spider-Man movie that's ever been made.
The villains that died:
Doc Ock
Green Goblin
Electro
Villain that survived:
Sandman
Villain that's technically would be consider dead:
Lizard(He was cured at the end of the movie so would people count that as Lizard dying or surviving?)
Unlike the first 3, who were pulled into Earth-199999 right before their deaths, and Sandman, who is from after Spider-Man 3, the Lizard was from the time after he figured out Peter’s identity, and before the final battle at Oscorp Tower.
@@raemonn15 Wait if that's the case then wouldn't that mean the other three well still die. Oh boy it's going to be one bloody mess when Electro get sent back as he has a physical body now so when he get's overloaded it won't be an electrical explosion, but a human body exploding.
Sandman probably not actually. He was perpetually sand and never human till cured...and when he died in the comics he was barely able to hold his human form anymore and was just perpetually sand till he eventually broke apart.
It’s so surprising the sandman and the lizard don’t die fighting Spider-Man so they both lived fighting Spider-Man, I wonder were the sandman went after he flew away at the end of Spider-Man 3
I just realized that if Doc Ock was transported away the moment he grab Peter’s throat, he would not be there to show Peter how to stop the reactor. If he didn’t get sent back to the exact moment then there is a chance that Peter have to drown the machine himself or couldn’t stop it at all.
I'm sorry but Connors in his lizard form but with his normal voice is fucking hilarious
"Pooh peepa pahka yoo all aloon"
Seeing all of theme gave me chills
I always loved that line it’s so fuckin funny “i was kickin Spider-Man’s ass, he’ll tell ya”
The best premise for a super hero movie plot ever.
Relevant and interesting, fresh returns of old foes - repraised by the actors.
Man. It was treasure.
There's something harrowing about the way Lizard asks Electro if he dies, like god damn imagine being told by someone that you died knowing they were telling the truth
Bro fr, made me feel so bad for Dr Connors
Lmao Jamie Fox always makes me laugh, best entertainer
Apart from the goofy behind the scenes clip that was included on the special features for Spider-Man 2 where we saw Willem Dafoe wearing the tentacles rehearsing Alfred Molinas lines and sharing a laugh together. This is the first time we ever see Osborn and Octavius interact with each other, and it is awesome.
I always wondered back in the days of the Raimi films what it would have been like for those two interacting with each other. Not only did we get it in this movie, but they were well aware and knew each other. Now, I can't help but wonder if they worked together at some point before Peter became Spider-Man.
Maybe if the Raimi movies get revisited, and if they survived after being sent home, maybe we'll see some type of flashback of them working together. I wonder if Otto ran the idea of his Fusion reactor by Norman, and maybe Norman dismissed it as being too dangerous and refused to fund the project. Hence why Otto was operating it out of his own building and not a more secure laboratory.
Some of those villains really brings back some crazy memories I'm we were different back then before MCU came
