Dude, Sandman is by far the most relatable person in this whole movie. "We can help everyone." "I DON'T CARE!" I felt that. Flint didn't care about any of this, he just wanted to go home and everyone else was keeping him from doing it. He was sick of literally everyone else and I don't blame him.
i feel the movie didnt really capture this well enough tho because there's some folks mislabeling him from anti-hero to pure villain, which isn't the case at all. the man just wanted to go home. yall complicated 10x, quite frankly, it took doctor octavius to cure electro and lizardman. it wasn't even the spidermen! They, no offense, prolonged it so far which understandably ticked sandman off! He probably could've done it all himself in 30 minutes but then I guess we wouldn't have a a movie.

he was always sane and level-headed, its just the damn claws that get in the way of his purity
Without the arms trying to control him 24/7, he's actually a very nice person and could be an excellent hero too if Marvel decided to make him one, I very much doubt they will but it would certainly be an interesting direction for them to go in.

@@solidacid1337 Are you stupid or something? Miles is the future of the spiderman saga. Even insomniac featured him in their lastest game Marvel's Spiderman 2 and people absolutely loved it. Both the Spiderverse movies ITSV and ATSV were absolute perfection, and ATSV also won many awards.

Out of every villain here, Lizard is definitely the least threatening and intimidating. He can't shoot anything or seni-teleport like Electro, he can't grow in size and create tornadoes like Sandman, he doesn't have any weapons like Goblin, and he doesn't have extra long metal arms like Doc Ock. He is just a big lizard. He gets pinned down by the falling metal beam and stuck with Andrew Spiderman's webs for extended periods of time, and if you can just outrin him like Spiderman can then there is nothing he can do except maybe throw nearby things at you. To a regular dude like me he's a monster, but he's the least threatening villain of all these villains as far as Spiderman is concerned.
I've been upset about this with some other characters and with X-men coming, I really hope they abandon the idea it has to be grounded visually to make the movie grounded overall. Deadpool 2 shows that having the real deal in terms of looks, with Colossus and Juggernaut, it makes the movie that much more interesting, without removing character or relatability.

Its crazy how they brought Tom Hardy's Venom and he did nothing but leave a piece of Venom in the MCU. I get not wanting him to fight since he's an antihero but so is Sandman, just give him the same motivations you gave Sandman where he wants to go home so it can be a full Sinister 6.
@@mailpaper7754 Sony allowed Marvel to feature Venom as part of a live action Spiderverse movie. We’ll still get an MCU Venom equivalent, but probably not Eddie Brock.

Honestly this whole sequence made me so happy. All of the villains in Spider-Man for the most part just ended up in accidents or were trying to help humanity and ended up having it go wrong. So seeing this? Really made my heart happy.

Sandman didn't turn evil, but he was cold and self-absorbed to a distinct degree in the movie despite being a decent man - Once he saw Peter's plan was falling apart at Happy's apartment, he abandoned it and simply desired to go home instead of seemingly fight through mayhem to get what he wanted. Here, he wants to press the box's button, while all the others want to destroy it. Yeah, he doesn't mind likely condemning others to death though, which is actually cold really.
It's kind of a cringy line that electoral was hoping that Spider-Man was going to be black because he helped a lot of poor people. Like excuse me and then Andrew Garfield Spider-Man apologized for not being black. Who wrote this?
