What’s funny about this beef is that Drake has to ACTUALLY RAP and can’t just bring up accomplishments, money, accolades, etc. Because Kendrick has those things too, and I think that scares Drake he can’t be beat that way. And on top of that, he’s one of the best wordsmiths currently. Dot even has the luxury of having the mainstream and underground ear for a decade straight, so everyone’s listening.
I personally don’t think Kendrick was dissing Cole. But it was a slight warning since he’s been close with Drake recently, someone he knows Kendrick doesn’t like. They’ve been friends for years, but this is more of a “I’m not talking directly to you, but if you want to say something, you can get slaughtered too no problem” 😭
Been a fan of Kendrick for years, and I can’t believe people still doubt his ability and stance in the rap game despite clear evidence of him being one of the biggest rappers on the planet.

I can't hear drake's voice without having an innate visceral reaction. The cringe is physically painful at this point.
Then don't listen to it. I feel the same way about Kdot and Future, so I only listen to their shit once just to know what the talk is about (what I did with Like That) or I watch a response video. That song Life is Good, I can never listen to Future's verse, I just have to turn it off at that point. But Drake sounds so amazing on that song and his verse is good.

One thing I’ve yet to see anyone mention is, as long as Aubrey wants to continue to have a home in Calabasas and be able to move around and conduct business freely in California, he knows he can never really pop too much shit with Kendrick.
