Didn't only watch this video but also the previous two. I have no interest in ever using a camper van or canal boat. I just like watching David muse and comment and living these boat/van experiences from the comfort of my sofa. Same goes for everyone who religiously watches a particular CZcamsr/channel. It's not so much the content but the presenter.
I agree totally. The presenter sells the you tube channel.
"I couldn’t eat more than two at a sitting." You kill me!
I spat out my tea when you asked for 'any ladies that want to apply for the van suspension testing...please apply....no seriously...apply'.....LOLLOL!!!! David you crack me up!!! You know, your vlog Q and A 's are extremely well done, and I am in complete awe at how you manage to amuse, yet keep your private life...private. I love the way to never take yourself terribly seriously, and your self humor is both enchanting ....and relatable! Keep doing what you are doing! ~
Thank you (but are you applying? 😂)
@@Vandemonium Knowledgeable, entertaining and clearly a charmer of the highest order! 😉😂
@@Vandemonium Oh yes, I could test our your suspension to no end...lol...but you'd have to buy me dinner first....Ha ha ha ha ha
Yes. Watched all three episodes and enjoyed them all. I look elsewhere if I want to be sent to sleep 😃
Love island perhaps...?
@@dougle03 yeah - I think I can speak for all of David's subscribers when I say I'd rather bathe my eyes in tabasco sauce than watch Love Island...
Absolutely yes to Cruising The Cut food merchandise. Do this.
not too late for the Christmas rush ...
in a box shape like the boat
Great idea.
I’m in!
Would the projector work on the ceiling! Like the idea of laying backing and watching telly looking up?
The blunt 'no' response to 'Have you improved your culinary skills?' made me choke on my drink. Thank you for a (nearly life ending) laugh!
The best camping toaster is a frying pan. A dab of butter and a minute or less on the hob each side to brown, and bob's your uncle. Buttery and crunchy. Very tasty.
You have a lovely conversational tone. It’s like listening to a friend going on about their life and what a wry charming smile you have. Weirdly enough I was even sorry when it all wrapped up.
It is so obvious that you were/are a professional tv presenter. I have watched all three Q&A and never found a second of it boring. The British Mr Beast
High praise!!
You have found the perfect Q and A series! These three videos were perfect in every way!
Your soft cadence and accent doesn’t put me too sleep but does lower my blood pressure better than a meditation video! Love your videos and always look forward too a new one. Thanks
What do you mean, your videos put people to sleep?! My wife & I love them and check every few days if you've uploaded any new ones. Then we sit down with our Cruising the Cut mugs and pass a very enjoyable 20 minutes or so watching what you've been up to. Keep it up!
The psychoanalysis of your affection for enclosed spaces 😭😭😭🤭
You can't just excise rants from the footage willy nilly! They are a part of a healthy video ecosystem
I totally agree. I watched all the way to the end and I was disappointed to reach the end way faster than I expected. It was a very speedy half hour and if that rant had been left in I would have been way more happy!! @David....stop leaving the good bits out :-)
Yes, can we have the rant as a sort of addendum?
That pop-up shower video was one of the funniest ever! I’ve watched it several times, laughing until tears and a bellyache! 🤣 It’s like watching something I’d do myself. I have so much empathy for you. 😂 The video about your new couch cushions on the boat is another gem! 😂
The making bread on the boat is my favourite, closely followed by tiling the shower
I also love the shower repair video
I love someone getting all worked up about nothing, and David does it brilliantly - he'd be a superstar if in America, but here in Old Blighty he's a typical middle-aged man
Cant believe it's over, award winning mini series
You need a bumper sticker! If this van's a rockin, don't come a knockin!
I CAN'T BELIEVE I watched the whole thing!😊 No wonder you were successful as a newsman. You DO know how to hold an audience. This 3-Parter was FILLED with good information for outsiders who wonder what van life might be like.
I do not own a van but I still watched all 3 Q and As from start to finish. It was an epic journey.
The suspension tester 'apply now' really did make my day. Brilliant chap 🤣
Haha now if only someone suitable would actually apply!
I'm truly surprised there isn't a line of ladies outside your boat... Surely there must be a lass who's love for tea and a cheese sarnie equals your collective gin collection??
I think you could literally talk about anything and I would listen. I don’t even own a van nor want to convert one😂
I watched all three videos all the way through and I was fascinated by the questions and the answers.
Made it through all three Q&A without drifting off... a tribute to you and your candid nature. Thank you for both this and Cruising the Cut; they have both made a field of dreams for me... build it and they will indeed come.
Thank you
Enjoyed all three of these, but sorry to hear that cruising the canals no longer gives you pleasure. I very much enjoy the quality and tone of your videos and enjoyed the cruising ones very much. Guess I'll just go back and start watching them over.
i enjoyed all three versions here and only wish they were longer :-) i would really like to see a 3 or more days van trip somewhere around the UK.
Anyway I want to say I really enjoyed the way you grouped similar questions under umbrellas and then had a miscellaneous section, very organized
I can tell your life is better. Your enthusiasm and body language shows your life is better.
Still here… 😁
One of the good things we found with a Motorhome was the ‘speedy setup’ when you arrive. We sometimes managed a cup of teas and sandwich whilst watching a caravaner empty their van and ‘setup’
A very good point!
Hello David, yes, I have watched all 3 Q&A episodes and enjoyed every minute of them. Found them to be very interesting. I was surprised latching on to the first Vandamonium, after following Cruising the cut, didn't realise you did land and water. I have a Citroen Berlingo and always carry a single burner stove but never used it. As my wife and I are both 78, we got the vehicle so I can get a mobility scooter for my wife. We were hire boaters since 1982 but sadly not fit enough nowadays to do it on our own. Look forward to your next adventure, whether on on land or water. Good luck and take care. Barrie.
Yes, I (happily) survived all three. I should probably scroll the comments and see if there is either a 12 step program (are those a thing in England?) or, preferably, a celebratory party for those of us who have done so. BTW, a merchandise thought. If the gin is good, perhaps the cheese doesn't have to be. Thanks for your entertaining style, I really am enjoying the new video series a great deal.
Thank you for all three!
I have enjoyed watching and listening to you for about 4 years now. When I found "Cruising the Cut", I started watching while eating my lunch at my desk at work. I signed up for the monthly donation to assist you in continuing making these videos. And when you mentioned your Vandemonium channel, there was no question I was going to watch.
I find your writing and visual presentations most entertaining, informative and relaxing. Never found any of them boring. I am on 264 of CTC and just finished 54C here. Yes, I have watch all the previous videos on both channels, and all three of your 3 part Mega-Q&A, most enjoyable. So obviously I do not find it boring in the slightest.
Thanks ever so much.
Thank you very much indeed 🙏

Informative and whimsical in just the right proportions. Proper job.
Watched all 3 episodes and enjoyed. Informative and witty.
still watching this far! :D loved following your Q&A - thank you for all the answers to all the random questions! Almost feel a little bad at the loss of joy on cruising on the narrow boat, but hope you are still enjoying things overall.
I always enjoy your videos. I do miss a boating cruise at times. Thank you for your effort in making the videos. CZcams is my view of the world.
Be amazed I watched it all and you have a very comedic way about you especially when answering questions and that's what keeps me watching love both of your channels. Cheers
