About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

@@Craigebussan I don’t think there should be tech reset cuz the game still needs to have more crafting lvls of tech. It needs to eventually get to the point where a city can stay alive like modern technology. But I think there should definitely be a map reset every now and then to reset it all and have ppl start from scratch

Hate it when people refuse to communicate. Had a baby keep jumping out of my arms and running away from me, I was trying to show it around and cloth it but I couldnt hardly keep up. I asked if they were new 3 times, they kept running away from me. I asked them to stay still, they never responded, but they still kept running away from me. I started telling them where things were since they wouldnt let me show them and they said they didnt care and ran off again. So I cursed them, I was sick of their refusing to cooperate and suicidal tendencies. They proceeded to follow me around in whatever I was doing and telling me I'm a useless noob (while I worked and they did nothing) and should starve myself. Lol way to validate the curse

Don't spend your precious (Only have 59 mins) minutes on people that don't work with you either they're cool or not cool stay safe out there and trust nobody fully only few, keep your eyes peeled for wolves in sheep clothing, bad people pretending to be good so they can backstab you later, Good luck and be safe my friend :D
Its great how this can be a game about starting civilization as a lone woman who randomly gives birth or it can be about starting a company designed for mass economic gain or I guess mass mango distribution. I suppose it just depends on the server you end up in.

I recently got back into playing more as well, I'm glad it didn't take me too long to get used to everything again. I spend a nice life in the Love family (brown color) as Hearold Love. I got much needed water for the town, farmed here and there, got some rabbits, filled a whole lot of pies and watered a long row of seeding maple trees. It was fulfilling ^-^
Man the Fine village looks like its going downhill, thats a huge shame! Next spawn in im gonna search until i get there, i put so many hours in there, the mango farm is alive because of me and a few others

Griefing in this game is just boring. There are better games out there to grief. I think I would rather play the game naturally, and give my child goofy names like Cyclepath or Cereal Killer.

I feel like there needs to be some kind of map in this game. It would add so much to it. Or at the very least have a way to be able to make maps, so you could map out the world and bring the map back and make copies of it and sell them and so on.
Just revisited that town from the desert family, left a few baskets of cactus fruit for them all. Also loved playing that town, but haven't played in it for a while.

I heard the fines are dead now ive been searching for it to see how theyre doing cause i became the last lady there, we revived it and became the biggest town but the griefers had to ruin it and damn someone dug my grave up and ruined my letter chest 5:17

This game has only 1 big world (server), right? I can't imagine how empty the world since 3 yrs ago.
every village I get thrown in looks nothing like these villages the youtubers be getting into. were all just setting up or in a village that's just tapped of supplies
The game kinda blew up and there's a bajillion new players who don't really know what they're doing, so it's much more likely for town to fall apart rn
I played when it first came out and left. because a part of me really wants to be able to progress and watch it. I just figured after all this time i would see some more progressed villages. But it all looks the same as before lol. I can say that I do see more livestock now then before.
