About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

@@usonly101 I still think the core idea has a ton of merit but it got way too complicated for its own good and never solved its core issues. I still love it, but. Meh. Its peak on Steam these days is about 15 users.
@SmurfyX more like 60, but it's just the same people playing it everyday so there aren't many fun experiences and interactions anymore. not to mention that it's almost impossible to be born outside of the big cities
Haha, Incredible! I was the Fenix Stark who killed a lot of people in your town. It was some days ago, I lived in Stark Town (4k tiles away east), a man from your family (Marcus Ginger) came to ours and a woman died, we tought he killed her, then we revegend. I was a ginger as well, so I decided to travel to his town. I lived there some years, had a daughter, showed her where I hid swords and the keys (I found three keys on a dead body in savannah), she was learning your lenguage and the people were peaceful, so we decided to live there in peace as well. Some years after, there was a griefer from your family killing your people, I used my sword to kill him, than your king started to chase me, I couldn`t explain anything because I didn`t know your lenguage and my daughter starved, then I tried to defend myself killing your king. I was an alone old murder, my home was faraway and I thought the guy from your town killed our people, then I decided to revenge the Starks and killed as much as I could.
When I died, I felt really bad, cuz I checked family tree and the guy from your town (Marcus Ginger) was just a wanderer, he didn`t kill anyone, but my griefer sister Sia Stark II did. So, I spent my life killing for nothing.
I played five hours later and the Gingers raided Stark Town, there was no Stark alive, the Gingers were living in both towns.

@@mr.cup6yearsago211 lol. To be honest, I hadn't used sword till this day, I was curious to see it working, so it worth it. If I am not mistaken, both towns had a bell tower, cuz of that people kept travelling between them. Extintion of one family was unavoidable. I hope the game offers more interactions between two families, like trade, slavery and whatnot in the future. War is funny the very first time, but then it becomes frustating.

Yea me and my brother started looking at it like that. My 2nd life ever in the game I was fixated on burying my mother and marking her grave, by the time I had got the right wiki pages and got her the cemetery with all the materials she had been dead for 21 years. A little embarrassing on my part but I was still learning and this was the first thing I felt was my mission,
This guy is really playing his roles quite well. From key-smith to intrepid traveler/church builder, to war hero and old timey sheriff. (If having a hard time at the end.)

Based off of comments I’ve read and the video, this is what I think the timeline of this city is:
-Family A (Couldn’t find name) creates town.
-Radishes kill Family A and takes over the town.
-Gingers kill Radishes and take over the town. Presumably, some of the village was destroyed and pillaged during this event.
-Starks try to attack and take over the town, but fail. Twisted is born at the very end. This is besides the point, but apparently the Gingers retaliated and took over the Stark village, making a second Ginger village.
-Radishes return and take over the village.
-It’s unknown how much time was spent in between the Radishes reclaiming the village, or if any other family’s taken over, but the apocalypse occurred, and forgive me if this isn’t possible (I’ve never played the game), but a group of Eves came into the ruins of the city after the apocalypse. I don’t know what happened from there.
Omg twisted I was born into that town and it's been a couple weeks ago but, when I was born into it my mother had decimated that town by herself and then took over! Then when she was gone i tryed to make it a peaceful town again.
I'm happy to see it was doing well I'm sad to see that there's another Griefer in there. And yes Mom killed all the Radishes of that town to keep that town. She was trying to spread our family name I didn't like it too much I guess they're trying to get it back.
I was in this town 3 times. Every time people were "going on raids" to kill surrounding villages and every time I was born into a different family that had taken over the town.
After the last time I think there was an apocalypse because I spawned in as an Eve with like 5 other Eve's nearby.
Also, I like how your perspective and wbsteve's perspective gives us different views of the war, your family (Ginger) is trying to protect your homeland from invaders, and wbsteve's family (Radish) has traveled far from a destroyed home to conquer a new one to please the kids and their God of War
They're not the same families, I think he was there a day or two after me. The family they killed were not the Gingers.
Things I look forward to hearing Twisted say in his videos:
1. It's not the worst thing in the world (or it's not the worst idea in the world).
2. Referring to a person, item, or situation as "Gucci."
3. Any sentence with the word PIES in it!

@@ziril3972 Sometimes when a town is doing well everyone relaxes since there's so much food but the food cycle starts slowly breaking down. To get it rolling again takes a while and a few people will die of hunger.

I remember being in that City before it was inhabited by the family Ginger. It was owned by another family(can't remember the last name, because we buried them far outside the city) and we forcibly took over after they rung the bell. I was a member of the Radish family that took over.
I was in the city before and we have raiders too. It is the exact same person, Leon Radish. I remember him because I always saw him outside our city sitting on his horse. We cant do anything about it. But i think we killed him.

This game at an advanced stage is like Dwarf Fortress, and you have to play it like it. Set hierarchies and defenses.
