I love Dr. Oto Kano's color theory course on her channel. It really helped me understand how to mix and use colors and I revisit it from time to time as a refresher. Also, her swatches are amazing and so detailed!

Figuring out what you like is a big component of why I like the large student grade watercolor sets. I ended up getting a few of the prima sets, merged 4 sets into one big 48 tin, and started experimenting. I ended up using a lot of colors (like a quin coral-like shade) that I never would have thought to buy otherwise, and doesn't show up on many other artist's pallets. That said, videos like yours showing the use of colors are a great help too because for example I would have never thought of mixing quin coral and green gold for a skin tone but it works so beautifully! I also love Oto's color showdown series because it shows how the same color can look different across many brands. Grateful for everything you do.
