He seems like such an articulate, passionate, and kind person. I could listen to him talk for hours.
Saaaame!
Yeah me too! I love the character of newt so much, so for him to speak so kindly of him makes me very glad 😊
Well, he is a hufflepuff after all
I literally met him today!!!
He tried to rush into an elevator I was in, but the doors were closing.
My friend and I stopped the doors for him and I didn’t even see his face until he walked in and turned around! I was shocked it was him!!
He is soooooo nice we had such a lovely conversation, he’s got great energy. 😊
And he is an AMAZING ACTOR!
In London right?
@@Margaux982 Yes
@@Danceofthesugarplumfairy cool cus I saw him the same day 😅
@@Margaux982 amazing!
I'm so glad Eddie is getting the recognition he deserves again. Such a fenomenal actor and person overall. Hands down my favorite actor
They should have gone over his role in "The Danish Girl."
He never talks about it. He feels bad about playing that role.
Woke Police arrested that idea
@@calidofrio13 has he said why? I thought he did amazing in that movie!
Definitely, even if it was to say he now feels uncomfortable about having played that part. It’s still an incredible performance worthy of discussion.
@@xiopaovid1215 I think it was because he wished they casted someone that knew about trans stuff but I might be wrong
It’s mind blowing how versatile he is! Like he can play almost any role better than nearly anyone! He is so humble and lovable and I just think he’s one of the best actors of this era
As an autistic person, I will never get over his love for Newt Scamander. His respect for the character with all his peculiarities and idiosyncrasies. He was brilliant in those movies, and his portrayal of Newt as an autistic man makes me feel seen and loved and respected for who I am. Ever since the 1st one came out I finally understood why (good) representation is so important. But now that the story probably won't be finished because of all these troubles involving the author and some of the cast members, it pains me very much to watch him talk about it all with such passion. Deep in my heart I still have hopes, but it is starting to fade...
Newt isNOT autistic. He’s just eccentric.
I feel the exact same way as you, as an autistic girl Eddie’s performance as Newt really speaks to me. He’s such a brilliant, well-rounded character and I really hope his story is concluded!
Has it ever been stated that Newt is Autistic.
He’s such a wonderful human love the way he explains it all in such detail you can tell he loves what he does
Newt is such a comfort character and he portrayed him so well !! HE IS SO ADORABLE
He's one of those actors that you just want to see winning in life.
Fantastic Beasts is one of my favorite feel-good movies. The relationships in it are so darn nice.
I loved the movies so much, such a shame the third movie didn't live up to expectations
Eddie’s rendition of Empty Chairs Empty Tables continues to be the best version in my opinion
I’m obsessed with his career breakdowns. This man very quickly became my favorite actor. He’s just completely amazing 💖💖
First Graham Norton Show, now this! I'm so glad we have more Eddie content. I missed him so much😭💙
Eddie Redmayne is one of the best actors ever and one of best of our generation.
Yep, his performance in Jupiter Ascending was amazing
I bookmarked this video to come back and make the list of movies that I now know I need to see...I love the way this person presents himself and the thought that goes into his process. Every clip I saw seemed like genius
I agree!
I’ve loved Eddie for years. I recently watched The Good Nurse (and I was so excited that Eddie was in it) and he played Charlie so well. The scene where he is interrogated and screams “I can’t” over and over was so well done, and I applaud Eddie for his performance.
Totally off-topic but HOW is this man 40 YEARS OLD?😱
hearing him talk in past tense about fantastic beasts is so heartbreaking, i can't believe they're not gonna make more of those films, it kills me, i need more
i believe theres supposed to be 5 movies total? unless things have changed after the 3rd was released, im not sure. itd be sad if they left it off incomplete.
@@enya5120 things have changed. it seems warner bros have decided not to continue
The lasted bombed and made 200 million less then the second one is makes sense that their done with it.
@@chefcurry8835 I'm aware of this, still sad though
Extraordinarily humble for such an eminent actor.
His intricate, nuanced performance in The Good Nurse was sublime and beautiful to watch.
One of my favorite pieces he was in was actually Tess of the D'Urbervilles. He was phenomenal in that, I watched it long before he was in Les Miserable and Fantastic Beasts, but I've just been in love with him since. I love the dedication and passion he puts into his acting. It always shows, every time I watch Les Miserable his song moves me to tears. I watched The Good Nurse the day after it came out, and it was of course amazing. I had never heard anything about it and ended up downloading the Audible book that the movie is based on. Hats off to Eddie!
the thing i’ve ALWAYS thought about him ever since i first saw him is how fitting he is in every character of every movie he’s in. and the genres he acts in just make so much sense.
I have been a fan of Eddie Redmayne for over 10 years, and the first time I watched him in anything was when he starred in an independent movie called Like Minds alongside Tom Sturridge. Albeit it was a weird movie but I fell in love with him and his acting the moment I watched it. Everybody at the time who had watched Like Minds was so obsessed with Tom (and I can't say I blame them), that Eddie was kind of overshadowed by him. But I knew then. I knew he was going to be a success and when My Week with Marilyn was released it became more and more apparent. I was so pleased for him and elated when he won his Oscar because I honestly couldn't think of anyone more deserving at the time. I hope his career continues to flourish and if you wish to watch more of his performances other than the ones mentioned I would highly recommend The Trial of Chicago 7 because the movie itself as well as Eddie is brilliant.
I just love Eddie Redmayne and I could listen to him talk about his roles for hours. Such an amazing and just very honest actor. In every role I saw him in he always managed to touch me deeply. I can't believe he didn't study acting.
He is great actor. He have perfectly acted in Theory of Everything
He was also good in the Fantastic Beast films and Trial Of The Chicago 7.
@@chasehedges6775 yes and I absolutely loved him in the Danish girl, it stuck with me for a long time
Gosh! I never knew how much I needed this!
Quite a few years ago, I had a complete Eddie Redmayne phase where I used to devour his movies and interviews.
i literally started crying jumping up and down i was that excited when he won the oscar- so so deserving The Theory of Everything is my favourite film
i watched the theory of everything a couple of times when i was younger and never ended it without sobbing. his performance in that will always be so memorable to me, such a fantastic actor.
This guy is so talented!! Just wish his movies were not too muddled with screenwriting issues and studio meddling!! This guy deserves better movie project and if he does do a superhero movie whether it is Marvel or DC, he will be loved!!
He was great in the Aeronauts with Felicity Jones. Fantastic film
Oh?! They did a little reunion project?! SUPER SWEET!
"If in this place you are detained, don't look around you all in vain. Cast your net, and you will find, every cloud is silver lined."
Beautiful.
"Every cloud is silver lined, Still." its the "still" that really got me
Loved that you posted this🙌 he is an absolute treasure!!
He's the first actor that make me realize and starting to "fangirling" over actors which I never really into but after watched The Theory of Everything after that I starting to watch his interview, clip, etc and it's so cool, he's amazing, I'm really happy when The Good Nurse came out and it's on Netflix, waiting for more Eddie on film
*bruh i used to have such a HUGE crush on this man. such an underrated actor, honestly i immediately fell in love with his acting in "The Theory Of Everything."* ✨
Birdsong is one of the best pieces of television. The contrast between his life in the mines and “ above” is brilliantly done
I remember seeing him first in The Yellow Handkerchief and really liking him. Not sure how many propel saw that movie lol. And then again in The Theory of Everything and being so happy he got such a big role and people could finally see his talent!
I‘m so sorry that he regrets doing „the Danish Girl“. It’s one of the greatest films I’ve ever watched.
Wait what, is he regretting that?
One of the best actors of his generation. He’s insanely talented.
"Because if anyone sees that... it's the end." The matter-of-fact tone he says that in had me deceased😂😂😂
He is so amazing and rich with words. I'm impressed. He is beyond comparison!!!!
I wished he would talk about the Danish Girl in here. I loved him in this role, too.
Eddie is such a pure and wholesome person. I love this man 🥰
The Theory of Everything had such a huge impact on me! It made me apply to film school for screenwriting!
I love Eddie so much! Was hoping he would talk about The Danish Girl- what a truly incredible movie
I absolutely loved watching this! There are so many films that I need to catch up on! I first saw Eddie in Les Mis and absolutely loved it so much, the film is a masterpiece and so emotional. And then since I'm a HP fan , watching Fantastic Beasts was a dream!! I adore Newt as a character and I'm so happy that Eddie played as Newt and did such an amazing job with it!
He was excellent in the Good Nurse
Have loved him since Les Mis! Such a humble soul
They really skipped over The Pillars of the Earth and The Danish Girl - my two absolute favorite Eddie Redmayne projects.
I'm so sorry that they skipped over Pillars of the Earth because that's still my favorite Eddie project!
I was disappointed he didn’t talk about Pillars of the Earth (one of his best roles), but I’m so glad he didn’t talk about that other disgusting film. #MenAreNotWomen #WomenAreNotMen #NoSuchThingAsTrans #biology #facts #OnlyWomenHaveBabies #JesusSaves #Lent ✝️

I absolutely adore him in fantastic beasts. In fact he's the reason I keep watching the movies.
Fantastic beasts did him dirty. I adore Newt with my heart and I adore him so much. Such a great actor 👏
He seems like a really lovely person, would love to meet him one day 😭
the theory of everything is my absolute favorite film of all time.
I was looking for a fantastic beast and I just found him! :)) Eddie is a great actor!
He really is.
Check out his Graham Norton interview with Bryan Cranston and Cumberbatch where they do the dating video lmao
He's adorable 🥺
I CANNOT watch Theory of Everything. The performance is too well done. I don't stop crying
He is amazing ❤
His voice is so calming
Pillars of the Earth is one of his best roles. It has everything.
He's my favorite actor right now. He's so adorable and talented. I know his career will be very successful. God bless him!!
La primera vez que lo noté como un gran actor fue en The Theory of Everything aunque ya lo había visto en otras películas. Dios lo bendiga.
Wow. A living master or acting. So inspiring.
Savage Grace is one of the most underrated films ever. Yes the subject matter is disturbing but the performances by Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore are amazing. I agree its a 'marmite' movie though. You will either love or hate it.
Simply adore him
love love him!!
As a vet, his version of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables kills me every time I hear it. Thank you for this.
I love Eddie, I think he’s an amazing actor ❤
The theory of everything is One my all time favorite films.
Just watched the good nurse a couple days ago, can't believe it was a true story!
He thinks Saving Grace is love it or hate it, but I'm over here feeling that way about his sweater.
His sweater rules
I like the sweater! Looks cozy 😊
Eddie! ❤️
the whole Birdsong segment was beautiful
Very inspirational story,,, i love him
As always, great choice .
He's so amazing actor. His acting really great..
I love listening to him
I discovered him as Jack in the Pillars of the Earth series... Wonderful show, and I had a crush on him at 12 years old
the good nurse is an incredible movie i loved it
I LOVE HIMMMMMMMM
what about The Trial of the Chicago 7?? great role
Bruh you didn't ask him about Jupiter Ascending??!! That performance is legendary. If anyone hasn't seen it, just watch a compilation of Eddie in the Jupiter Ascending, trust me 😂
Great actor
Very talented actor.
What a beautiful man and wonderful actor
I LOVE THIS MAN
I love and adore him so much.
He needs to win an Oscar for the good nurse... what an actor!!!
He is so charming! He has beautiful smile with shining eyes.
After being so disappointed in so many movies on Netflix, The Good Nurse was so refreshing just because of his performance.
I love him so much
Never knew about the mines, that's the best about movies they can also be educating. Must have been emotional
I first fell in love with him in The Pillars of the World I wish he would have talked about that :(
Eddie! I love hiiiim
He was fking amazing in the theory of everything. I have to watch all the movies he's been in ❤️
They skipped pillars of the earth, I loved his character in that
Well, now I want to watch all of his movies!
No one’s bringing up ‘Hick’ in the comments but that’s one of my comfort movies
But why skip over The Pillars of the Earth? His role as Jack was beautiful! :(
I love that he was in doctors
OMG! watched the good nurse and didn´t realised it was Eddie! Great movie as well 😁
he is number one of award season mass promotion
He is a brillliiiant actor. So sorry that he had to struggle like this.
