I love how he keeps saying these are not exactly “essential”, like he knows he’ll get by even without them. Seems a genuine and interesting guy. Yes very posh, but also very down to earth.
I met Eddie once, he was surprisingly down to earth and very funny.
I’ve met him twice. He’s a straight up delight.

I just met him at a screening here in LA. For his new movie called The Good Nurse. He was great in it. Very nice guy. Loves to talk to people. Not shy. Smart too.

To me he perpetually looks younger than he is. I cannot believe he is 40. he looks like he’s in his 20s still. It might be his personality as well he’s very youthful and sweet.
I adore him! Such a great person with good personality, having a happy family and successful career. Keep going Eddie!

I love Eddie! it's so good to hear him speak so candidly.
I adore him and his portrayal of Newt has been a great consolation as a diagnosed autistic. So listening to him telling the story about the case and how now he can go back to using it as if he won't be portraying the character anymore actually made me very sad... it's hard for us to identify with characters or even have good, heroic representation. And then, when we do, stuff happens...
YES!!!! i’m also autistic and i adore his portrayal of newt and relate to him so heavily!! also even though i hate the idea of not seeing newt on the big screen again, i feel like it’s for the best with that series… it was going downhill and i’d rather watch his most powerful portrayals than rowling screwing up his character 😂
I have asperger and the first time i saw the fantastic beasts in the cinema i fell in love with Newt. I could see me😅

I’ve met Eddie a few times, most recently last year at the SoD premiere (I was behind a fan barrier so it was brief) and I managed to thank him for playing Newt as autistic. He seemed genuinely touched, and he’s such a genuinely lovely person. Knowing Newt was autistic helped me through my diagnostic process and made me feel like it would be okay if/when I was diagnosed, so while I understand why people chose not to watch the films and why there’s currently no plans for the fourth film, it makes me sad all the same.
@@alwaysahiccupandastrid I am so glad you were able to tell him that! And I am very grateful for your effort and the tale about his reaction. Here is to hoping we will get something else from Newt eventually. He fastly became my favorite hero.

‘That musical’ is one of the best productions I have seen in a long musical- watching career. Eddie was amazing and memorable- as was Jessie too.

Love Eddie. And would love to get my hands on Circa 1970. They are not shipping outside the US. The girls use the same oil on Eddie's pal Andrew Garfield as well. The glow up these guys get from their "groomers"... Excellent. The cardigan has got to be my favorite thing. Congrats on being one of the Men of the Year :D

Abstemious and peripatetic. Don't hear those vocabulary words every day. He used them in rhythm too, where you could kind of pick up what they meant by the context. Didn't seem forced either. Impressive.

I became a huge fan of Eddie Redmayne and his work in films after seeing him in the film, "My Week with Marilyn." My appreciation for him became deeper when he had won his well deserved Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as "Dr. Stephen Hawking" in "The Theory of Everything." Such a very talented and amazing actor!

I have always admired Eddie but this is so endearing largely because I would probably do the same thing: not “essential” but things I just love. Full stop! Things I like to have around me. Darling man!

Eddie I am so with you. I love my apple watch but I have always been in love with my classic old school watches. I love the sound of the needle ticking and so I totally understand the satisfaction you feel when you turn that dial and the sound that comes with it. I also am sensitive to weight and my classic watch is lighter than my apple watch and I think cause I type a lot for my work I can feel the difference. So as a watch connoisseur I really loved that part when you talked about your watch.
