We got one also, and like you said, it looks good in person. After we get done reviewing and testing it out we're thinking of doing a couple mods to ours. Definitely a fun bike! Oh yeah, we agree that whole key setup does suck.😆

Since I don't trust the area of the key/ignition I use a carbringer w/thin nylon cord long enough to reach upward and anchored.

Only issue is if you run it high from 4-5 it will drain battery in 10 minutes. If you run it on 2 it will go for 50 minutes. More speed more battery quick drain.
Please do range tests on the bikes.
Changing out to street tires will get you noticeably more torque and range, and is MUCH quieter.
Mate..try going up the same hill throttle only in assist level 1..I'm sure it works better than assist 5. Just a thought...

Does it work in the winter/on snow and ice?
Hoping to get a reply from you as I live in a country where e-bikes are not legal with throttle. I want to buy this bike but I want your honest opinion. If you just saw this bike randomly would you think it looks like an e-bike or does it look like a normal bike? Thanks in advance

All I keep reading about is terrible customer service with most of these bikes , can't find replacement parts unanswered calls and emails, lectric seems to really stand behind their stuff, to many stories of people being stuck with 1000 dollar bikes they can't get fixed, I guess I'm going to have to go with lectric...

I can't decide between this and the Lectric XP 2.0. I like the look of the Engwe better, but Lectric seems like a more reliable company to buy from. Can anyone offer any advice on which one is best? Thanks.
I have them both. The XP 2.0 is my baby, it's faster & more nimble, but the Pro rides so sweet. Either way you have a fantastic bike.
Stay away from Engwe! No service and support! Own 1 with 100 miles and have a problem after 5 months. Emailed support 7 times and no response. Really no warranty at all as I have to replace now the battery and controller as bike shuts off at 30% battery. This will cost me $400. And my labor. I paid 1100 so now $1500. Not good!

Yes there is but it's to heavy. Wheel it along.

Anyone experienced damaged goods? Seems that the bike is not protected enough when transported by DPD or UPS. Also Engwe customer support sucks. They dont take responsibility when this happens
Support sucks! 5 month old bike with 100 miles and I have to spend 350 for battery and 50 for controller. Emailed support 7 times and no response. Wish I would of not purchased this bike! The bike dies at 30% battery and will not go at all. Only can get 4 miles on battery which sucks.
Do you mean the battery performance will weaken over the time?
