I have 68” cross bars on my Overhaul and on top of my roof for an F-150. I think that is a good width for my truck, but you might check with Diamondback or Yakima if they have a recommended width for your set up. I haven’t had issues with hitting the bars while getting in and out of the truck, but I am not super tall either.

Results will probably vary depending on the kayaks, but I didn't notice much vibration or road noise. When I picked them up I was driving for 3 hours and went up to 75 mph. It wasn't very windy that day though.
