  • This video got started , when i tried to solve the issue of jerks while getting off the throttle and going on throttle specifically in shorter gears , the issue get resolved and along with the issue one more underlying mystery problem got solved automatically plus the throttle became much more responsive , it will work for Volkswagen group of cars like , audi , Volkswagen and skoda .
    i used the obdeleven device , but you can do it without the device as well
    so it was like killing 3 birds with one stone , totally unexpected results but totally worth it .

I'm going to try this and hopefully will fix the issue. I appreciate coming across this. i Have a chance to love my car.

    Namaste Dost, many thanks to you. I solved 4 issues after fixing it.
    1. (Lack of Pickup/Turbo lag) I had recently got my injectors serviced however I was still getting knocking due to unknown issues, I thought It could be EGR / clogged line or bad fuel pump, and was about to get it cleaned. I had done Intercooler, throttle body, turbo inlet checked & cleaned already, but the car was still not performing as it used to be. Now I understand if voltage from throttle is off then the whole car is going to malfunctioned and underperform. MAF will not calibrate with throttle hence turbo and many other issues. I used to get voltage issues on certain injectors and coil light would come on if revved high(now I know it was the high voltage input from throttle, awesome) You nailed it man, I wandered from mechanic to mechanic to sort it out some even suggest head overhaul. But A simple adjustment (which was meant to be used and we have been unknown of such provisions) bought my German Ghodi back on track grunting and roaring.
    2. (Mileage) Due to low voltage from throttle MAF/Turbo Boost pressure was not adequate, Now since the voltage from throttle is accurate Ghodi knows the rest of the tricks. My fuel economy improved because I am feeding hydrogen as well to my German Ghodi
    3. (Misfire) is now Ms. Fire.
    4. (Jerks) are now thing of the past. A small touch to accelerator pedal and this creature starts roaring. Though I did not open/clean the actuator but it seems finest anyhow. I may clean it later if at all it bothers me again.

    I can't thank you enough for making this video. I have taken my Vento to multiple ASCs multiple times to get this fixed, however none of them even acknowledged the issue. They always said everything is fine. Either they're not skilled enough or they intentionally don't want to fix it for some reason. I've driven multiple Polo TDis in the past and none of them exhibited this issue.
    Now coming to the fix, I've used a cheap OBD2 device and a free scanner app, so couldn't get the exact sensor voltage rather found something named accelerator pedal position sensor d & e in % values. Initial position was at 13% and the free play was all the way till 19-20%. I have adjusted it to 20% and now my Vento feels like a whole different car running on a remap. I took quite some time to relearn the pedal and still learning it. Also, I think I've overdone the pedal position a bit as the idle rpm is slightly high and not able to change gear/leave the clutch fast enough (or may be I was used to quick shifts due to drop in rpm in the past). Will work on it next week again and adjust it to the right values. Thank you once again !

    • @yourDIYneeds

    • @Sukhpreet3236
      @Sukhpreet3236 Před 2 lety

      When i did this exact process i stopped right where RPM started increasing and moved it back when it came to 800-900rpms.
      But when i leave the sensor and accelerate a bit, then RPM drops at 1000rpm and stay like that untill I do little push back to sensor towards its original position. When I again accelerate to check and rpm increase and after that drop down to 1000rpm rather than going back to 900rpms until I loosen and adjust sensor little bit more backward (towards) it’s original position. After adjusting bit more everything becomes normal as it should be.
      But now I don’t know by doing so my problem is eradicated or not. Because it was so hard to unscrew pedal from car body, as i had long screw driver only to adjust these nuts. Hence if you could clear this doubt

    • @yourDIYneeds
      @yourDIYneeds  Před 2 lety

      Sir i left it exactly at little bit lower from where rpms starts to raise .and its going fine , inside the pedal there is a pivot which is usually lubricated for smooth movement , maybe grease has deteriorated and pedal is not able to move at a smooth rate , that's why you are facing this issue

Iam having issues with idling. The car jerks intermittently and after self adaptation, it subsided to a minimum level and the obd data reading says the sensor near catalytic converter is not getting data and the service tech says this could be a carbon deposit on the catalytic converter or the sensor. What is the solution ? While there is no change in rpm and the car is giving 16+ in city driving conditions , at times nvh levels are so low that it feels like a petrol car. But idling changes every thing.

A total difference in nvh decreased acceleration increased , the milage 16 to 19 average city mileage and the idling vibration considerably reduced to barely traceable. Check the fuel pump relay or just swap it with another one from the box

      Damage the oxygen sensor ? How?
      All it does is to pull the lag out of the pedal and make it more responsive .
      If it has the capability of damaging the O² sensor , then every time you push the pedal , it will be the same situation in which sensors can be damaged

      Sir in this situation we have to check 2 things
      Acc. To the code its manifold pressure or fuel rail pressure , both are interrelated , maybe there is a leak in the system from where the pressure is leaking most probably air track because if it was fuel then it would have been visible by now
      So due to lack of pressure the engine is not able to maintain its rpm properly which in turn is triggering the fuel rail pressure code
