Solving problems for hesitation on many different vehicles. bad spark plugs, bad coil pack, bad spark plug wires, bad air filter, bad fuel filter, vacuum leaks can all cause hesitation, bucking and jerking and make you think your transmission is going out.

My '04 Solara 3.3 has done the hesitation-bucking-jerking since day one. Stomp the gas and it takes at least half a second for the engine to take off. Driving uphill, even a small incline, about 35 mph and it bucks & jerks like the transmission just broke. Took it back to the dealer several times and they could not fix. Just learned to live with it because even with this issue, the car has been amazing. Would buy another if they still made them.

I thought that the diagnosis would be the transmission, but it was exactly what you stated in this video. The car runs beautifully now. I see that the following parts were purchased for the repair via the receipt: valve cover gasket set, spark plugs and ignition coil assembly. My sisters car, she said it started doing this after she was driving in a steeper hilly area and pushing the car up the hills moderately loaded down. Our 2009 Nissan Sentra has a manual transmission. It started to give some jerks right at the beginning of driving (when you start to drive in the morning). It happens in the 1st gear when you just release the clutch pedal, jerks somewhere in the area of front passenger wheel, like that wheel can't rotate for a second or smth, then goes normally. If you bring it to stop and then start to drive all that repeats. The problem continues for ~10 min. After that no jerking after stops. Is it smth w/brakes on the FP side or it is smth w/transmission (like low on transmission fluid)? I've recently went over a curb w/that particular side (PS), but I don't remember if the problem started right after that or later. I would appreciate any opinions on this matter. Thank you for a great and informative film.

I have a 2008 ford escape, when it shifts into 2nd for a split second it pulls to the right, sometimes the left . Tried having it scanned for a code .
Of course the auto stores code scanner wasn't working or perhaps it's the vehicle that has something wrong with it that it wouldn't show .
Anyways I know that year make and model were recalled.
Trying to find information on what would cause that issue.
Guessing rack and pinion , though I'm hoping it's something cheaper to fix, those parts new are expensive.
