Wow, I just bought my very first Volvo. I dreamed about having one of their cars for last 15 years. And one of the criterium in searching for the car was that it will have this beautiful classic indicators that you replaced with new digital display calling it 'pretty much old'. I feel so old-fashioned now ;-)

I have a 2012 s60 T6 with nav and the updates done by Volvo.
Bought a tft from a xc70 2014 / 2015 with low milage.
The power gauge background is just the rpms moving, but the yellow line is the boost pressure of the turbo(s)

Vdash competitors take 80.-eur(Vdash300.-non sensus) for TFT retrofit and some of them do it remotely also,i had S80 2008 done.
Vdash is very nice program and guys have done great job but some prices are from cosmos.

If you have Sensus car, you can set the clock through the central display; also you can reset diagnostics interval via standard sequence of buttons (use the sequence from the car that has this TFT cluster)
But still, even if you have Sensus, it is not guaranteed you can turn of DSTC, so be careful with it
All these things I get on xc60 my12. Don’t trust me fully because as I understood everything depends only from the car ;)
Just curious @volvosweden - how were you selecting those different options on the cluster? Is that using the "info" wheel on the indicator stalk?

Curious how the winters have been without being able to turn traction control off? This is the only thing that is concerning with upgrading my cluster.

I have done the tft retrofit on MY11 XC70 T6 however I can not figure out how to reset the trip computers now that I don’t have the clock/reset button on the cluster. I have always reset them when filling up so I can calculate fuel consumption. Not a huge deal as I can still keep track of mileage, but is easier when I can reset the trip computer to 0 (zero) after filling the tank. Anyone know how I can do this?
Looks good but too expensive for me and OCD would kick in with it not all working correctly.

I added the 2 CAM-Hi wires but have no gear indicator MPG or miles till empty in my Sensus 2011 s60 T6. Do I need to VDash flash my car to get these items back?

I have been one of the betatesters of this type of retrofit from D5T5. After some problems, works very well and I realy enjoing it.
Much better than Russian s..t product. Completly bugged translator i send them back for reclamation. It is more than year, I have no translator and money... Vesper Volvo is only band of the crooks...
I have a v70 2013 with the monitor in the middle. However I do not have the sensus connect?
Will my car count as a sensus car and allow the clock and service intervall. Or does my car count as non sensus?

Hello, i have a 2014 v60 but the dim it comes with is from a 2015 car, as result my acc (cruise control) does not work properly and i have the ecu error on the dim. Do you know if with vdash is possible to force the ecu to acept the 2015 dim?

This may sound like a silly question, but are the red needles on the old cluster supposed to light up? My speedometer and RPM needles don't light up when the lights are on and they're not easy to see in the dark.
Definitely a design deficiency, they aren't easy to see at a glance anytime unless the daylight is good coming from the right angle.
@@Angloman516 Really!? This is the first car I've had in 30 years where I've had this problem. I thought there must have been a blown LED somewhere. My 2005 XC70 was easy enough to see.
So I just bought a dash off eBay and it does not power up. I have a 2012 S80 T6 Inscription. Not sure if spedo is faulty or needs programmed

It's not problem now. You can disable DSTC. Power works fine, too.

@volvosweden everything went great and all works except for my fuel gauge. Even after a test drive. Also loaded the software a couple more times. Still no gauge. Any ideas?

Yes. Paid the fee. Followed all instructions. I’m getting a yellow Dim code saying “general failure” incompatible.
Actually re-watching your video the other one where you go in depth on the installation I noticed that you have the same codes showing up as I do. So that must not be the problem

Very much this, I have hands free only, I want to media stream as well!! Maybe add DAB, I have the DAB+ wiring harness option, it will just be buying the optical cable and DAB drive unit from what I have read?
