Funny how for the entire weekend I had a new pain 😫and it was in my right hip where my 17 yr old buttocks work injury happened. But this was a new pain and it was a mean as dirt pain. …I gave up life yesterday took 6 baby aspirin and went to bed. Woke up it’s gone 😳what was funny this video shows up Monday morning and last night I had thought I might want to search Bob n Brads database for hip pain.

Post hip replacement, I stretch my IT band standing up and use my foam roller

Love noodling around in my stretchy jeans. Them calm shell stretches are kinda intense. Synchronized oddballs unite!

After the 90 second stretch do them again, but this time use your arms to push against your leg. This provides an isometric strengthening component and also helps the stretch. It wouldn't work on the last exercise so you'd have to push against a wall.
That was awesome! Been sitting and did these on the couch. Two year old hip and the crossover to stretch the IT band was a hit 🙌🏾

Little tip if you‘re oberweight, you xan use something like a scarf or rolled up towel to grab your knees etc.

2024 - I had a hip replacement in 2017. Got my life back...BUT...I miss being able to sit cross-legged; also miss a good stretch to my lower back. Could you please post some "safe" stretches for those of us who have tightness from hip replacements? Thank you!
I imagine this stretching effort will allow you to cut your toenails with less effort. Do these especially before cutting your toenails!

This is a timely video for me!
I noticed some pain stand and putting on a shoe on my right side in the hip.
With your stretch #3 cross legged and pressing down for the piraformis, if I resist this or even just press my knee up, there is some mild pain on the posterior of the greater trochanter attachments?
Is this indicative of possibly a strain or something in the joint itself?
I’ve worked out tender spots around the hip and it has improved the last two weeks some.
Hip gets cranky sleeping on either side after awhile?
Any thoughts?

Well, darn. Each of those stretches causes extreme pain in my right leg (and I can barely do with my left leg). Am I too far gone?
What if you can't get your legs to move like that?
By the way, I use your lower back support with the rolled towel! I swear it works for me. All my best.

My hip flexors and groin are hurting so bad it’s difficult to walk so even tho I want to try these I’m afraid it’ll get worse
What time intervals?
Start at 5 to 10 seconds and progress to 30 sec if you want, BUT only if no pain is created. Best of Luck Brad
