I am new riding motorcycle and my first time changing the oil. I have a Bmw 310gs 2018 My question is is what type of oil I should buy if you have a preference on brands?

Yeah. It'd be better if the bash plate wasn't plastic. But I suppose I can always get a metal one.

Run the engine, filling the new filter, check the oil level, top up as required.

I used Motul and worked fine for me on several bikes.
Why is it hvaing TVS mentioned on the parts?
TVS manufactures the 310s for BMW.
