As a former 660 TS owner, the biggest issue is the budget suspension particularly the front end. The good front brakes overpower the forks and dive badly under braking that then upsets the whole bike when cornering hard. I quess that's why its a budget bike.

Man the snorkels imtake is directed towards the front, which means, it is feeded by the air comming from the front, while moving. The form is getting tighter, this means, that the inflowing air is being swirled into a vortex and also a little bit compressed. I cannot imagine, it will work better when removing it. With this snorkeldesign you do have a guaranteed inflow while moving, in contrast to, when you remove it, the swirling wind on the simple open hole has more problems to get inside, because of the airstream simply passig by that hole. But the plastic cover is blocking that direct intake. What we could try is to saw off the front part is useless, because the leg is still blocking some air. But I will check your airfilter from kna... Maybe i will try it now anyway

the danger i can see here is that with a normal throttle, if you do emergency braking, you let go of the throttle and brake. in this case, you would need to roll the throttle off then brake. that fraction of a second matters.

A common concern for most throttle lock devices. Not an issue if you’re in the habit of clutch-in in an emergency stop.

I bought them as I play a lot of tennis and Pickleball so when I get to the court it’s so easy to slip these off without them taking your shorts along with them. I don’t find them to be that hot in summer. I do a lot of riding on country roads and the thicker material protects very well from the bugs when they splatter when they hit your legs . I wouldn’t call it armour it’s more padding and not sure how they would do in a slide, hopefully I don’t find out . I do highly recommend these for the price and just a pant that offers protection without breaking the bank and if they get ruined no big deal go get another pair.

Thanks a million for your video, I just recently relocated to Southern Baja Mexico and really wanted to keep my Tiger 660, the roads here can be dirt and at times 2-3 " deep in sand and the stock tires were ready to be replaced anyway bu, everytime I brought it up in a forum I got blasted with comments about how the Tiger 660 isn't an offroad bike. I got tired of explaining I wanted off road tires but I'm actually not going off road. I'm going to order the Dunlops, I heard you mention they were cheaper than the Continental TKc70's, but down here the Continental are about $100 cheaper, have you any experience with the Continentals?

Thanks for making good content on the Tiger Sport 660. My local Triumph dealership wanted $470 plus tax for an oil change, and they said it would cost $75 to turn off the little wrench icon. What a joke. Within two times of using the OBD scanner and software it'll pay for itself. If you're not including the price of the oil change itself. I'll save a ton of money doing the work myself with these crazy prices. If it was around $200 for the oil change and everything, I would understand and probably go for it. But for pushing $600 for everything is just ludicrous.
