Colby's fight were always high paced and fun. I never understood how people couldn't just enjoy the fights. The casual fan just wants a reality TV show

Colby Covington is a real elite athlete. In a world where everyone cut at least 25p to compete, dude barely cuts weight, he's probably one of the very few fighter who fight at his natural weight class and still almost better than anyone else

It's very smart, he has a cardio body and makes the most of it and he saves a lot of brain damage by not cutting and it probably helps with the chin, very underrated chin Covington has imo.

People say Colby is boring but I feel like he has one of the most entertaining fight styles in the ufc , puts that pace on you has athletic takedowns and strikes very well with volume constantly frustrating his opponents
His fighting style is anything but entertaining unless he fights someone whom he can't dominate like Usman or RDA.
It depends. The RDA fight and the tyron woodley fights were kinda boring because he would spend a large portion of the fight just pushing them up against the fence and throwing rabbit punches. The lawlwer and jorge fights are okay. Usman fights are amazing though

Colby stopped evolving after he fought RDA. U can't be champion without fighting top contenders. People think I hate Colby but I don't. The dude got 3 title shots by beating 3 fighters barely ranked in the top 10 who were on 2 fight losing streaks and mentally retired. That's accually an amazoning feat. Connor couldn't pull that off. But the truth is u can't beat Usman and Leon with easy fights and long layoffs.
I wish this Colby showed up to the fight.

The fights against Usman were legendary. Such a great back and forth and so evenly matched. Two of the most entertaining fights in UFC history.

Man seeing Colby's early fights, he was a lot more relentless with his ground and pound in the early UFC days. Those elbows were nasty. I can't wait to see him give us another entertaining fight with Leon Scott!

One of my favorite ever fighter traits has always been Colby’s insane relentless cardio
Colby’s striking is underrated. They aren’t hard shots, just a lot of jabs which is overwhelming combined with the takedowns. His chin in as solid as they come and isn’t scared to strike with the best of them. I wouldn’t mind seeing a stand up war between him and Leon. He should work his ground game with Leon. Love him or hate him, Colby can fight his ass off.
His striking has improved every fight.

Honestly I really hate the divisive politics colby plays into, whether he actually believes everything he says or not, but I can't fault him for saving his career by giving casual fans the cartoon character they want to see. What I find really disgusting is that the UFC threatened to cut a successful, dangerous prospect, because they couldnt be bothered to figure out how to market him. It just goes to show that the UFC is much closer to theatre than actual sport sometimes, which is evident in the fact that they stripped colby just so they could give Till a shot at the title, because they were convinced he'd be their next star and re-engage the UK market. Well that "investment" sure panned out, huh?
People forget Colby got snubbed of fighting woodly and Colby would have likey won.

Recency bias has led everyone to believe Colby doesn't have a chance but he was out-striking even Usman for the majority of their fights. Usman just has more power so when he lands it looks like he's better, but Colby had better footwork and heavily out-landed Usman. If he can do that and mix in his wrestling like he has learned to do effortlessly, he has the cardio to exhaust Leon. I think Colby becomes champ here.
Speaking of cardio, Colby has been training for Leon in Colorado at high altitude.
There's a trade off like Diaz. Land more punches, do less damage.

What Colby Covington did to the ATT fighters was legendary! To think out of his 20 professional fights, the only guy that was able to withstand the Chaos was a bigger version of his skill in Kamaru Usman. If Colby wins the title against Leon he will no doubt be in the hall of fame. I'm rooting for you Colby! America's champ!

Looks like Colby has successfully transitioned to a Statue
His open field takedowns are phenomenal. Obviously he’s a wrestler but I can’t think of many grapplers implementing doubles and singles as effectively as him. His cardio is a huge advantage and he drowns his opponents but his implementation of wrestling is a step above, even compared to other guys coming from a wrestling base
