    A woman has revealed how another house is being built just inches away from her property, after not being aware that the land did not belong to her.
    Latasha Lowe was at home in Jacksonville, Florida, on October 13, when she showed how close the new building was being erected near her house.

    Sue the seller for non-disclosure and the builders for damaging your property. I would buy a camera and record everything these builders are doing. I would be pissed off. I feel for you, this is horrible. Hugs from England ❤

    You HAVE to lawyer up! Non-disclosure! You have to fight this seller and you can always sue for lawyers cost as well. Do NOT take this! Much love from Germany🥰

    Survey get 1 done. Where I'm at you have to be 15 feet off the property line.

    Go to the city and get a survey! They can't just start building a house. Don't let them get away with that.

    Take them to court, bring your evidence, and don't wait until the house is built! what are you waiting for?

    They cannot do that. They cannot build so close to the property line. Call an inspector to come out. Notify the county. GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!! Make sure there is a clause in the agreement that they pay for your lawyer fees.

    Get your property layout from the local government or library. If you ever missed your tax due date people can buy your property for the missed tax and it’s actually legal.😢

    Probably why he sold you the house in the first place. He knew this was about to happen. And, unfortunate for you he found him a hate to say it a🍭. Like you should’ve had an inspection and a person who is involved in property lines. Good luck

    What is the city code for how close houses can be built??
    Check and see if the person who sold you the house has done this before.
    I'm sorry that you are in that situation.
    God Bless You.

    Go to the city management office,submit claim making sure they're up to codes on building so close to property lines most cases require a significant measurement from house to property lines

  • @speakin2003
    @speakin2003 Před 2 měsíci

    You were suppose to be given a survey at closing. That will show your property lines. Then check your local building codes. All places are different. They may be within their right. It's our job as property owners to know about these things before we get into buying a home. You can only complain about construction if it's being done outside of your citys work hours. At the end of the day you're the one that benefits from the new construction once completed. It's going to bring up the value of your home giving you more equity.

    Usually, when you buy a property there are flag markers at the showing where your property line begins and ends. Did they not do that? This is all so weird.

    That guy who sold you the house knew he had split it in half and was selling it to you with the intention for you to think that the other part was yours. When he knew darn well that he had split the property in 2 and was selling only 1 of the 2 pieces of land he is a wicked, wicked wicked demonic human being and may our creator most high punish him severely in any way he sees fit for such a wicked thing to do to you. Go to the city and see if there's any re course. Make sure you're not paying land tax for the entire thing. Cause to me that has to be disclosed. You might even want to go see a real estate lawyer or if you used an agent get in touch to find out if that was known when he prented it to you and when it was split. To find out if that is a severe violation, to not disclose That type of information to you or have it in your contract.that you were buying half of the land that seems deceitful to me

  • @virginiaschott4482
    @virginiaschott4482 Před 2 měsíci +1

    First what does your contract say, also what was the tax record for your property before you purchase it. How much property did that tax record state was yours. It's all there in the tax record. I suspect that all this was in your contract and you were informed there, but for some reason you missed it. Do you use lawyers in your state for Real Estate Transactions? You don't need a Lawyer in PA, but when I was a Realtor there, I always informed my customers that it was in there best interest to hire one. Also here, you need at least 10ft from the property line to build even an out building. Good Luck.

    Hahaha welcome to the new world. Australia use to have restrictions on building close but now they only care about tax’s and fees. The world wonders why Australian people all live on the coastal areas, well it’s because the government packs us all in like sardines.

      Seriously this lady is Delusional. First she says " I thought" this was my land obviously you didn't get it surveyed so she's wrong. Then she complains about how close the house is to hers, there are plenty of houses that are much closer to houses than that space including my neighbor. Next she says the space closer to the house being built that should have been her driveway again wrong that's not her property. She then says they "split" the propery off without infoming her 😂😁🤣. Yeah because people can just take your property because they feel like it! What part of that's not your property that she can't comprehend?!? Hahaha, she says there's a house being built essentially in MY backyard 😵‍💫. She calls the seller and complains to him about the house that she now owns that their equipment and material is on her side of the yard, clearly Lol. Mam all of that is clearly on their property. This was too funny to not write a book about her 😳.
