I'm kind of surprised you are not wearing gloves. Can the lice not jump to your skin and then your hair? Just curious.

It’s very hard to wear gloves while treating lice we have tried and it’s torturous. We wore them during Covid for ppe none of us liked it. Makes the process harder and takes longer. We cover our heads. Lice don’t jump they only crawl. In severe cases they can end up on your clothing but I learned just to stand back and not too close and nothing will get on my clothes.
