I absolutely adore the Saiyan and Namek Sagas of Z. They're some of the best stories that Dragon Ball has to offer.

My ranking of dbz sagas:
4. Buu saga
3. Cell saga
2. Saiyan saga
1. Namek/Frieza saga
All sagas are unique and good in their own way, but I think that the Saiyan Saga and the Namek Saga are the best in terms of story and consistency, in my opinion the most beloved and best parts of the entire Dragon Ball franchise and it will never reach that peak again
