Wow Roland, appreciate you visiting and making this video
Anytime for a reveal 😅 especially on the performance variant!
Thanks Roland!
Glad you enjoyed!
Greta video Roland! Keen to check this out for myself tomorrow at Miranda. Hopefully it’s not too busy!
Thanks mate. Hope you enjoy the viewing of it!
Good stuff Roland
🙏 thanks!
The front bar makes it looks aggressive and the seats are sick!
Totally agree! Love the cutout/slits for more aero!
Hi Roland, nice video! I met you while you were making it and loved it, especially the seats. As I have ordered the M3P I will let you know what it is like when I get it. 🙂
Hey Bill! Thanks and the pleasure was all mine. Nice meeting you too and congratulations on the order. Look forward to your thoughts when you receive it.
Pre-ordered. Beast. Grey with white interior. Great vid mate.
Wish I could get red with white interior
@@RJ-cv2uw I wanted that combo too but it'll be $10,000 more because it wouldn't quality for the rebate here in the U.S. So I got the grey with white instead.
@@guru2899 I order mine black on black. Will call it black bullet
Parking srnsors?
Congrats and thanks for the comment. It’ll be a beast for sure! Up there with all the Supercars
Thank you for this Video. Here in Germany we are waiting for this car (in LHD).😊
Thanks for watching. Hope you get your car soon and enjoy!
Exact same car [with white seats, no EA, no FSDC] AU$91,397 NSW driveaway, if black seats AU$89,822 NSW driveaway. Seems cheap price for a performance RHD vehicle
You’re definitely right with that comment Sensei. Bargain for a 3.1second to 100km/h car around 90k!
Same specs I ordered, thanks for the video!!
Glad I could help! And congratulations on your order!
저도 퍼포먼스 화이트로 주문하고 기대하고 있습니다. 좋은 영상 고마워요 .
Thank you and congratulations on your order!
With a M3 P as seen in this video, what do you think about putting 22 inch wheels on the back and 21 inch wheels on the front via someone like Tempe Tyres? with the 9II Porsche GT3 they tend to do this
I don't think Tempe tyres do forged (lightweight) wheels. Doesn't make sense to increase wheel size to 21 or 22" for a car this size. Perhaps increassing tyre width would do better though!
La verdad es que en rojo que precioso 😍
Very beautiful!
Awesome! Same spec I ordered. Only complaint I have is no heads up display. Otherwise feel an amazing car and price. Can’t wait for my July to September delivery date. Thanks for VID. Anyone have a recommendation for ceramic coating in Melbourne?
God I hope I don’t get pushed out to July - Sept lol currently showing June
Congrats! It’ll be a weapon of a car on the streets! I am in Sydney but for Melbourne; there is some place I think called The Lab that seems quite well known.
@@Charlie_pilks @LukeMarsden5979 - 'Car Studios' [3 Trade Place, Vermont VIC 3133] ..or.. 'Liquid R' (Unit 12 / 23A Cook Road, Mitcham VIC 3132) ..or.. 'The Ultimate Detailer' [Unit 6 / 1 Rushdale Street, Knoxfield VIC 3180] ..or.. Auto Pro Finish (67 Springfield Drive, Narre Warren VIC 3805)
Cheers mate much appreciated. Found website looks awesome. Will be contacting them closer to delivery date.
I don’t see quick silver option on the site yet
Quicksilver is only on the Model Y at the moment.
A sport steering wheel would have been a welcome differentiator from base model, but you can’t argue with the value here. Quicksilver with white interior would be my pic if it was available.
Quicksilver is definitely a very popular colour now. I’d also love a well made steering wheel. Would feel so much sportier.
[May 9, 2024] currently the highest viewed upload on your channel 😎
Very proud of this one especially given the timeframe. A very big thanks to you and every single person that watches/comments.
That red is really growing on me. Have the grey m3p ordered but really tempted to switch. So clean
I wish there was an IDGAF option for color. Just get me the one closest to delivery date
Hahaha roll the dice and see how you go!
Have a look in person. The colour really pops.
I have a Tesla Model 3 Performance 2023. This looks to be a nice car good step up but not enough for me to switch. Keen to check it out in person though
Definitely check it out in person. Used car market is always a pain but the cars will only get better!
@@ZappedAU Yeah i checked it out yesterday it wasnt able to be test driven yet though. The seats are really nice and hug you. But yeah still happy with mine. When my lease ends in 4 years they may have a slightly updated model out then :)
Great video thank you love that car getting one in 2025.🎉
Thanks and congrats!
Wish I could get those seats in my model 3 RWD next week.
I am 100% with you! Offer these as a retrofit!!
Roland, any plans to soon make a comparison video of the 'Tesla Model 3 Highland Performance RHD' vs the 'BYD Seal Performance RHD'? NSW driveaway price of each, battery size, top speed, 0-100km/h time, hotness/coolness of the glass-roof, efficiency, range. Would be very informative and useful for many who can't decide which one to purchase
Hey Sensei, abit hard to compare some of those details due to non ownership but I have something similar that should hopefully satisfy you soon 😅
Are we certain on the 346 kilowatts? I thought it was more 😊 thanks for the video
Yes.
343kW as per Tesla specs/website.
The CoC (certificat européen de conformité) of my M3H LR says 158kW (front) and 208 kW (rear) ... so that makes 366 kW already!! How is that possible?
i want to see the wheel underneath the aero caps
Will be good to see how it looks! The previous model 3 RWD looked better with the aero covers off!
I ordered mine on the first day it got released in Ultra Red. Now waiting on delivery which should happen in June or by the end of May here in Austria
What does your app say shot delivery month?
@@JahanzebAzim Sales advisor told me by end of May but I think it's impossible since they're still loading the ship from Shanghai. In the App it says May - June
@@Roshke I ordered the next day of release in grey and black and it says July - September!
Same date for Switzerland
@@JahanzebAzim Which country?
I love it. I think it’s Tesla’s best car as of today mainly because of the price. A Tesla rep from the US told me they have 4680 batteries 🔋 🤔 I have seen video stating they are Panasonic 2170 cells. I think they still have 2170 cells. Do you have any info on the batteries outside the US? I am hearing they are LG 2170 non U.S. built 🤷🏽
No specific info but I’m hearing the same as you. Not 4680’s!
She's a beauty. I would probably get red, white or silver (when it becomes available) which would offset nicely with the dark trim and wheels.
I like your taste. Totally agree. The quicksilver in a M3P would look amazing!
Very nice getting mine in 2025!!🎉
Woohoo congrats!!! What colour?!
I'm really torn between this and the long range. The performance looks great but the extra range can be really handy for trips. Also not sure about the tyres being ok or not for driving on the odd unsealed road with potholes and such. I'm probably overthinking it though, it seems like such a great car.
It’ll come down to need vs want. I think the tyres will be OK. Yes the performance will be more uncomfortable for sure due to the tyre and wheel size but you have all that power!
@@ZappedAU @jful - you don't need the range as much as you think, most the times you drive around town/city that is where the performance of the Performance matters [no pun intended]. Go for the P over the LR all-day, many fast-eves (chargers) are popping up anyway so range is not an issue
As a car lover - Always start at top spec and negotiate with your brain down the variants. See how well you can do :)
I was interested to replace my LR 2021 but no longer. Very disappointed that it has 50hp less than the US version due to an inferior LG pack with only 79kwh and also slower charging curve compared to the Panasonic US version. Range is also disappointing! Same as the standard version. I was expecting some new cool battery similar to what CATL, Polestar and Porsche offers. 350kw charging and 10min 10-80% and 2.7 im 0-100kmh. But no....😢
Well go buy a porsche and stop crying 😂😂
I don’t think 50hp less in the country you’re in should be a reason to not buy it. Battery chemistry I understand. Tech will always evolve.
Range is only an issue or potential issue if you have problems charging at home. We have quite good infrastructure here on the east coast of Australia. It could be better but it makes travelling decent already.
I think you’re going to get one.
Time to talk to the wife 👀
@@ZappedAU @noboot5192 - yeah, should Roland trade-in the Model Y P (2023) for a 2024 Model 3 P? or keep the Model Y P and also buy a Model 3 P you meant?
Don't tempt me Sensei 😂
@@ZappedAU DEW IT! :D
Why can’t he have both. As the little girl from the old El Paso commercial would say. lol.
In the leaks the car was lower. But here its pretty high. :(
Perhaps just to get compliance/ADR rules across the line.
thank's great video !!!
Glad you liked it and thanks for the kind words!
Less range than the previous M3P. How often do you track your car? Name of the game for EVs is range and although the performance is there, the range is a let down.
Yes it's a shame that it comes with a pretty big compromise like that.
@@jful I believe the 2023 and older M3 with the acceleration boost is the best of both worlds, e.g. range and performance.
@@KP-xi4bj yes agreed, I used to have a 2022 long range with the speed boost and it was great. Hopefully they will allow 2024 LR owners to unlock the speed boost as well.
@@jful Quite a few 2024 M3LR owners are pissed that the acceleration boost isn't available for purchase.
Its not that short range, and more than enough for daily drive. U don't buy performance for taxi driving
Took delivery of our 2024 Model Y Performance only a couple weeks ago, considering going all in on EV and getting this for myself 😬
@RonGabriel - DEW IT! Congrats Ron
@@Sensei_888 🤣 must resist until I figure out what to do with my current daily driver
@@RonGabriel :D ..what do you personally drive at the moment, which year manufactured?
You've already lost more money than you would have saved buying a quality ICE vehicle. EV sticker cost, insurance rates, tire costs, and public charging will more than offset what you spend on gas and oil changes. Best bet? Sell that Tesla and buy a Mazda or Hyundai. They will last way longer than the 10 years on a battery pack, with minimal maintenance, no range loss, and no extra nights in a hotel when travelling because you had to plan charging stops along the way. In a decade, you will have zero resale value, or, the option to spend thousands on new batteries, while that Mazda will just keep on going--maybe 30, 40 years if you take care of it.
I got a '54 Ford pickup that still runs, my neighbor's got a '45 that his grandpa picked up after the big war and they still use it as a hose cart on the ranch! I guarantee you that none of today's EV will still be driveable in 2094. The one built today, like yours, will obsolete and ancient by 2034.
@@MrProy33 bruh, a lot of people in this kommunity are decamillionaires ($10,000,000+ real net worth [RNW: excluding value of house they live-in]) or have RNW of $5,000,000+ ...so dont think spending money on a car would be too much of a concern
My RS3 would kick it's ass still lol, but not the plaid
Not sure how these are down the quarter mile yet but assuming your rs3 is stock, you won’t stand a chance based on the 0-100 time
@@ZappedAU Lol buddy... My RS3 is on IMS 1050R turbo kit and does 8.89 on the 1/4 and 0-100km/h in 2.4 sec on street. Also check me out on dragy 1KingRS3 for proof
@@QUIKCaspa Lol keyboard warrior. Did these figures come to you in a dream for your RS3? Keep dreaming! Sh**ty RS3 got NO CHANCE with this car.
@@ZappedAU Lol my 0-100km/h is 2.4 with a IMS 1050R kit and 1/4 is 8.96 (ON STREET) faster then a plaid buddy lol so this performance would look like a camry against my RS3
@@QUIKCaspa You're a clown
Outstanding news... Christ's blood, his death on the cross, releases us from the guilt of sin, accepting us as righteous in God's sight Colossians1:20 The cross shows the seriousness of our sin, it also shows God's immeasurable love. There's hope and salvation to all who put their trust in Jesus. Please think about it.
Model 3 Performance 👌
What does that have to do with content of this video???
Well the car couldn’t get any uglier than the original model 3 so there is that
Have you got the new one?
