In the taxi from the airport, the driver had mentioned to me a food street by the name of Mahim. I decided to head out and grab a taxi to check it out and try some delicious food. Hope you enjoy.

Holy Moly Chris, didn't really expect you to speak the local language of my city so well
Wow Chris you have been so generous most of the time. Not showing your bargaining skill for lower prices all the time.Really appreciate your attitude.

@@ziggy3259 Then why was he good to Chris when he was not?
Dude, in Mumbai if you take a cab/rickshaw always go by meter, that's the basic rule here. If you ask them how much they will tell you double/triple fare.
Legends say he is slowly turning more and more indian by the passing day

There is Chembur Festival today and for a few days visit there its a street filled with shopping handmade things showpieces to foodstalls by the people who live there. Just a place with crowd, walking and seeing the stalls and probably has good decorated streets to look at. This happens once in a year in February.
Incredible INDIA 🇮🇳 💪🏿❤️🇺🇸

09:44 that’s why your driver made a fare of 400 and agreed to take 500. So great 🙌

I have just returned from Bangalore. It's been many years since I was last in Mumbai, but by the looks of your video, the road traffic seems to flow better in Mumbai than in Bangalore!
Yup it moves faster
Only one downside of Bengaluru.
Definitely! I’m travelling to Both cities quite often now and mumbai has improved over the last 10 years. Bangalore is just crazy! All the construction and dust and narrow roads and traffic. I lived in banagalore for 10 years until 2002 and when I went back in 2014 I was shocked at what the city had become. They took a beautiful laid back city and destroyed it in making it silicon valley of India. Definitely city wasn’t built to handle this much population
You are sooo damn amazing and mingle with everyone... Your laughing style is tooo good.... You will love Mumbai, the heartthrob of India....Huge fan of you... Don't disclose tooo bout yourself to anybody... Tc, enjoy, take it easy....,♥️😍👍😁😁

The falooda boy was being subtly rude just like he must be to most customers, then he realised hes on camera and started his "good" side.
Why do some shopkeepers and vendors have a rude persona like that ?? Is that because how they are as person ? Do u think I should consider it as "rudeness" when people rudely say "No" easily and don't care about our feelings .or is it because I'm emotionally weak myself ?
@@monurajput5608 nothing emotionally weak about expecting normal behavior, problem is with the rude person, its their weakness to be unkind to others, especially who is providing them business.
Exactly

The tone of the falooda guy was almost mocking. He was trying so hard to appear cool XD
I just got back from my first time in Mumbai. Stayed near Grant Rd. What a difference from Delhi eh? I must’ve been to Delhi more than ten times but I was in Mumbai less than an hour before completely falling in love with the place. I was only there three days before catching a flight home to Heathrow. Cannot *wait* to get back. I’m thinking two weeks in September.
😂😍😍

wow it brings back memories
Mumbai is one of the fine and best cities..
Chris, in Mumbai always go by the meter in taxis and auto rickshaws. Here we don't travel other than the metered price.
Mumbai black yellow cabbies r notorious, hated by most Mumbaikers for refusing rides & overcharging. Luckily they're a dieing breed.
@@ziggy3259 don't think so... Uber drivers cancel rides all the time. I think his Uber driver cancelled the long drive. Cab drivers charge more money because you don't have to wait for 15-20 minutes for Uber and they don't get passengers more frequently. But I totally support sharing economies like AirBNB/Uber.
@@ziggy3259 exactly. There was the time. They just refuse passengers like anything. Like they even treat passengers like hell. Now hardly anyone asks them. After ola and uber business.
Loved the conversation with the taxi guy
Next you should visit Kolkata and Bangalore too for more desi experiences👍😊
