“The Visit is the worst M Night Shyamalan movie.”
The Last Airbender: “Am I a joke to you?!”
We don't acknowledge that movie was made 😂
The Last Airbender is NOT a movie.
Me: "well yeah, actually. Now leave, please, the grownups are talking."
What avatar move? There was no avatar movie...
Welcome to ba sing sae, there is NO Airbender movie
i don’t know if i’m in the minority but i like hearing what movies people DONT like. especially horror! i find it very interesting & not negative at all! just a different kind of discussion!
Me too!
Same!
Same here.
I'm the same, just like how people worship midsommar, I don't get the love for it at all.
Ik. There are communities inside the genre. I love that.
I love Sleepaway Camp just for the one-liners.
“Eat shit and live, Bill.”
I loved The Lighhouse but I can see how someone could hate it. It's one of those movies where you love it or you think it's stupid.
I super didn't like it. But I get how people could. The black and white and the way they talked in the movie just super didn't do it for me.
Lol I’m in the “it’s stupid” category
I loved it, too. But I wouldn't consider it a horror movie. More like a bizarre drama.
It reminded me of any film by Andrei Tarkovsky. Some people like it some people hate it.
I love that film, but tbh I’ve never considered it a horror film.
'Ratings not matter' edit was delightfully funny.
Lol I was just about to comment the same thing too 😂😂
Yes, don't be sorry. Horror is for everyone and having different opinions makes us all unique. That's what makes horror great, is that there's movies for everyone.
I would give Dead Silence another chance I actually really enjoyed it especially the scary imagery towards the end.
I thought it was really fun.
Plus the ending made me go 😯😬
@@robk.6591 sameeee. I can’t remember the character but there was a pale woman who wore a black dress. She scared the shit out of me in the movie
I agree, she should give it another chance!
“Beware the stare of Mary Shaw, she had no children only dolls. And if you see her do not scream, she’ll rip your tongue out at the seam.”
This is forever engraved into my mind lol
I enjoyed Dead Silence. I agree, give it one more chance.
This one is on my comfort movie list
I completely agree that The Visit sucked, but calling it the worst M Night Shyamalan movie when the live action Avatar the Last Airbender exists is a sin.
PERIODT
"it gave me so much anxiety (...) it wasn't entertainment for me, it wasn't enjoyable..." That's home invasion flicks for me. I don't watch 'em for the most part. They're not the only ones I feel that way about, and it gets old having to prove my 'street cred' as a horror fan that I choose to watch things I'll enjoy rather than everything under the genre label as if the point is to see how much pain you can endure. Life's too short for that. I'll watch what fires me up, no apologies.
Your next is a good beginning for the home invasion genre.
I hate those ones it’s all anxiety it doesn’t scare me . I have severe anxiety I need to take meds for to live a normal life so I don’t need anymore anxiety thanks
yes. thank you.
i have a love hate relationship with home invasion movies they’re interesting but i already have anxiety disorder and those just make it spike
i feel the strangers was one of those psychologically scary horrors, definitely affected me. mostly cos i feel that it was scary that that could potentially happen in real life and i couldn't remove myself from the scare factor
Saw it in theater in 2008 & about 100 times since. The kitchen scene😱 The music! Terrifying!
I don't like The Purge, The Strangers or any type of those kinds of movies, but that's because I find them too violent for me.
Agreed! I think the fact that the victims never do anything really wrong makes it way worse and the fact we don’t see their faces just adds to that!
I actually liked this film for how cheesy and funny it can be. If it wasn't i think i would find it boring and quite typical. But it makes sense why it would trigger real life fear too. Just didn't do that for me.
Anyone can criticise an individual's opinion but in my opinion it takes real guts to give your opinions on horror movies to an audience. This horror genre caters for all tastes but that also means we don't appreciate every film release. Our individuality can divide opinion and that is great. I say long live individual opinion and appreciate the guts it takes to go very public and in doing so, leave yourself open to criticism. Very brave and commendable.
Dead Silence could've been horror-gold if a) it'd been given better studio treatment and b) Donnie Wahlberg had been the main character. But regardless, it remains memorable for its signature dummy trauma & all the (literal) jaw-dropping. 😉
Dead silence was one of my first horror movies I ever watched as a kid, it scared me. But I can see that it might just not be for you
i agree when i was little that movie scared the life out of me for years and i am still not a fan of those dolls lol
I think it's that. Everyone as a child owned either a Doll or a teddy bear and the thought of that one thing you cuddled up to and made you feel safe being evil, that soft toy was the one thing that protected you from the monster under the bed or in the closet actually being the Monster really scared the life out of you. I'm suprised there havnt been more actual haunted toy films.
The Strangers had me soooo tense. It’s one of those movies that stressed me out so tough I thought that I hated it, but I actually loved it. It shook me up and that’s what I’m looking for (sometimes) in the genre. I love this channel so much! Thanks for existing!
Please don't ever question your taste! One of the things I love about your channel is how unashamed you are about your unpopular opinions. It's so refreshing to see someone have different viewpoints than a lot of the other big names in the horror community. Also, I knew it was gonna be The Lighthouse😂 I didn't like it either, but I'll always respect Rob Eggers and his ambition!
dead silence is one of my favorite horror movies of all time (annabelle wishes she was like billy) please give it a try!!!! i feel like you wouldn't regret it even if you don't like it
Its Sam Raimi. Respect that man
Surprised by the Lighthouse, I understand why some dont like it, but I loved it because I love psychological horror movies but I dont understand why some people love the conjuring movies and those from that universe. For me those are boring, not scary and just lackloster but I respect people who likes them because we all have different tastes :)
Honestly agree. I have PTSD/anxiety so the Conjuring movies still make me jump/make me anxious and paranoid after watching but after enough time passes to look back on it without my anxiety getting in the way, it's really cheesy IMO and definitely relies too much on like jumpscares and shit. Plus I don't really like Ed and Lorraine Warren in real life, it rubs me really the wrong way that they would take advantage of & dramatize other people's real life stories.
I love both. Neither of them are scary to me. I dont see how the conjuring movies are lackluster however (at least 1 and 2). James Wan is a master.
I love psychological horror but hated the lighthouse
I just couldnt take it seriously after the seagull scene where I nearly wet myself laughing
The Conjuring-verse movies, at least the ones that I’ve seen, haven’t failed to be good popcorn flicks. Not high-concept nor particularly groundbreaking, and even a bit interchangeable with some of the entries, but consistently entertaining.
Damn dead silence 😩 that hurts
That movie creeped me out as a kid and I still love it to death
Amazing atmosphere , soundtrack and suspense
If you haven't already, you should watch Ryan Holllinger's take on the film. He explains how it all the makings of being a hit and why it ultimately didn't succeed in the end.
@@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRose I watched it already 😊 love his channel
Really cool
Dead silence was definitely one of those movies that messed me up. That beginning scene 😩😩😩
Just watched it again a few weeks ago and I forgot how fun of a movie it was! Justice for Dead Silence!
"Now who's the dummy????, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Definitely re-visit Goodnight Mommy, Sarah. I didn't realize just how much the movie had gripped me during my first viewing until I heard a noise during the movie that sounded like a mouse, jumped off the couch, and cried out in shock. I was literally left shaking as I tried to calm down. 😆
Yes I agree. The movie isn’t very scary but I found it lingered with me the next day.
My biggest issue with that movie and this may be because ive seen too many horror movies, is that you have it figured out 30 minutes into it. But the overall production of the movie was very good.
Goodnight Mommy is one of my favorites. It's absolutely gorgeous to look at, i didn't see the twist coming, and i just thought it was so full of suspense. I didn't really care for the body horror portion in the second half, i don't think it needed it at all, but otherwise i think it's a really great movie. I recommend it very often lol
The Lighthouse is my favorite horror movie but I think it's hilarious how much you don't like it. I definitely think it's not everyone's taste and get why some people don't like it.
Yay, more unpopular opinions on horror let's go! 👍✨
I totally get why you didn’t think Don’t Breathe belonged on the list 😅 I personally like it but I’m a big fan of home invasion horror. I think that Don’t Breathe was kinda like Hush or You’re Next in the way they subvert the home invasion formula. But if you’re not a fan of home invasion to begin with, it’s a hot mess 😂
I typically don't like home invasion either but You're Next is fantastic!
Don't Breathe was good but ridiculous and its basically a ripoff of The People Under the Stairs, which is much better.
I hate when people like bow down to critic and audience ratings instead of forming their own opinion, especially when it’s rotten tomatoes
No matter how well-respected a critic's opinion is, it's still just their opinion, and there's no guarantee that you'll agree with them. People should always form their own opinions first. A number of my favorite movies were critically panned, and I'm betting most people have at least one movie that critics hated while they loved it
@@the13throse I mean, some people use a review to decide if they'll see a film or not. It's all very well to debate with a reviewer after you've already spent the money to see it, but not always so useful.
At the end of the day you're better finding critics whose opinions you know and understand and judge from actually listening to them whether you might like it or not, rather than going by a number on a aggregated review site. It's funny to me when people call critics out of touch on a film without actually hearing what most of them actually think. Especially on RT, a critic can find a film barely better than mediocre and it still contribute to the "fresh" rating.
At least games critics are often lambasted over their actual opinions rather than (or as well as) a numerical score 😂
@@jakerockznoodles I dont think listening to a critic whom you often agree with will necessarily be more reliable than listening to an aggregate opinion.
@@the13throse A classic example of this is Roger Ebert absolutely hating Death Race 2000 (the original 70s flick) missing the point that it was a dark comedy to rate it as one of the worst movies made
Killing of a sacred deer isn't really a horror movie, but I mean c'mon that movie slaps
that movie is amazing
It’s more psychological thriller than horror, but yeah it’s a very good movie
It’s an impeccable movie
I watched it three times omg
i adore that film and any of Yorgos Lanthimos' work
Yes Sarah watch Dead Silence. The concept and ending is amazing. And you really see a lot of characteristics of The Conjuring in Dead Silence since James Wan directed both.
I literally feel the same way about Dead Silence 😂I think I fell asleep the second time watching it and I thought I didn’t see it the third time I tried watching it 😭
Agreed!! I got so happy when she spoke about it, literally never heard anyone who feels the same as i do lol.
Me: you’re allowed to dislike any horror movie, it’s individual preference.
Sarah: hellraiser
Me: what????????? You aren’t allowed to dislike hellraiser
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was my exact reaction!
That was actually one of the few I agreed with. Happy Death Day, The Strangers, Sacred Dear, Don’t Breathe and The Lighthouse however not as much. It’s always interesting to me how varied opinions on the genre are.
I love hellraiser
My reaction 😅 HELLRAISER is my literal favourite horror movie
Well, you don't list Train to Busan so I guess we can still be friends. ;D
I loved The Lighthouse. So perfectly moody and the sound design was equally disturbing and beautiful. I might just have a soft spot for those super artsy, pretentious movies but The Lighthouse is definitely one of my favorite horror movies. I mean, I do like Vincent Gallo's work, especially Buffalo '66, so that probably tells you all you need to know about my love for pretentious films lol.
"Ratings not matter" - Sarah Hawkinson 2021. That edit was fantastic. Hey. It's subjective, not everyone likes all the same things, and just because something is popular or well liked doesn't mean that EVERYONE will like it. I did guess The Lighthouse, by the way, I remember that video. LOL!! Climax has been on my watch list for a bit over on Letterboxd. I just haven't gotten myself in the mood to give it a try. I have a feeling that like you I'm not it's target audience either.
I liked “The Visit.” I couldn’t stand “Middommer” which is also highly rated. I loved “Hereditary” though. I also hated “Blair Witch” too and saw it in the theater. It wasn’t scary to me at all.
The Ring was awesome!! One of my fav movies ever!
Saw franchise ranking in time for Spiral pls?!
This is a great idea!!!!
The way I audibly gasped when Revenge popped up 😂 it was one of the first movies I watched when I first joined Shudder (used Sarah's discount code, cause duh) but I'd have to agree how there were some plot holes & how some things didn't add up. It's still one of my favorite Shudder movies tho
It’s interesting watching GOODNIGHT MOMMY a second time knowing the ending so you can pick up the many hints and subtle details that reveal the story. I was so confused the first time watching and I really liked seeing someone else react for the first time while I already had seen it.
I thought Don’t Breathe was okay, one of those ones that I’ve seen once and never need to watch again. The big thing I didn’t like about it was that scene with the turkey baster - like what was the actual need to have that in the film? Almost as if the director knew that the plot was getting stale and added it for pure shock value
I grew up with "Hellraiser" and I love it. It was the summer I graduated.
It’s honestly just more nostalgia. Still decent but it works way better if you go in obliviously and have no prior knowledge.
The Visit worse M Night movie ever? Have you not seen The Last Air Bender, After Earth, or The Happening?
Air bender for SURE
OMG I forgot about The Happening ! even as a MNS fan I think that movie is crap - lets try to outrun the wind
As someone who loves Sleepaway Camp, I think I’m just sad when someone doesn’t find the joy I do from it. I’m sure that’s mostly where frustration comes with unpopular opinions like this
Lighthouse is an absolute masterpiece from so many angles.
This movie is really horrifying.
the only thing i remember of dead silence is that music theme that plays out over every creepypasta video ever
Also, how dare you, Happy Death Day was amazing!!
The Visit is the only one you said that i couldnt understand someone not liking lol
Right!!!! I really enjoyed it
I really think you need to give dead silence another chance, cause i really wanna hear your thoughts on the ending for sure! If youre not sure if you have finished it, you at least need to finish it cause you might get a jaw drop because of the ending
The ending was soooo creepy!
this is why the horror genre is so diverse. no one is going to like the same things. i enjoy these types of videos. it's fun seeing what other people like and in this case don't like. not too many of these were surprising, you're right i feel like i have a good idea of what your taste is.
I get why people don't like Happy Death Day movies, but personally their my comfort movies, especially the first one. It's just so ridiculous and campy, that I sometimes I forget its a horror, the highlight of the two movies are definitely Tree's death montage. These two movies I rewatch if I want to watch something that is technically horror but mostly funny. Love your list btw, can't wait to see more
I loved the “ratings not matter” thing that made me laugh
I had the same feeling of wanting to walk out of a movie theater when I saw Winchester. I could NOT believe how bad it was. Seeing horror movies in theaters usually scares the ish out of me but I laughed through that entire film.
idk of you have done this yet, but i would love to see you make a video on your favorite and least favorite horror movie plot twists!!
it’s crazy seeing what different things people find/do not find scary, the strangers is one of the only horror movies that actually freaks me out so it’s really interesting when people find it not scary at all 😂 i have a friend who’s petrified of ghosts so for her any supernatural horror is terrifying and i have a bunch of comfort supernatural horror movies 😂😂
ive never heard someone call the lighthouse a horror movie. id call it a artsy drama. and an Okay one at that.
Revenge is one of my favourite movies of all time!!
god i really love the perfection,,, the ending always makes me cry
you said Hellraiser was bad and I literally screeched lol!! But I adore your content and personality! Your channel is my “comfort channel,” everything you do is so good!
" The 'Visit' is M. Night Shyamalan's worst movie"
"The Happening" has entered the chat.
I love The Happening and own it on DVD. another hill I will die on.
The Last Airbender: Am I a joke to you?
@@PossessedbyHorror You sound like someone who decides to try reviewing sushi and then says: "Disgusting. Tasted like raw fish. The paper wrapper looked like grass and the rice was so sticky it clung to my fingers when I picked it up. The pink and green hors d'oeuvres were so overwhelming that I could hardly even breathe after eating them. Will not be eating again."
@@PossessedbyHorror it will be a lonely hill for you. Even as an avid MNS fan I think its utter crap. Anyways Im used to defending Signs and The Village so Im probably on a lonlier hill
There was definitely quite a few movies that you mentioned that I really love but we all have our own opinions
Hellraiser is my favourite horror movie of all time. Kinda shocked its that low on IMDb. But the great thing about horror is we all have our own loves. Great video and love the Ring too 😊
I agree! HELLRAISER is a classic, I thought it would have been much higher rated. How did The Lighthouse get ranked higher than HELLRAISER?
There’s a couple of movies on this list that I disagree with and quite enjoy (maybe as a guilty pleasure... cough The Visit cough) but I love that you’re always unapologetic about your opinions, Sarah! That’s what makes me love your videos so much (also your pins are super cute)
Dead Silence is my literal favorite movie.
So yes, please watch it all the way through.
Give a chance to Dead silence. I loveeee it
The ring is also my favourite!! And I noticed you have House of Leaves in the background, my favourite book
i recently watched The Forest (2016) and it was so rough to get through. There is so much disrespect to every Japanese person in the movie, and the main character is INSUFFERABLE. She takes nothing seriously and puts everyone around her in danger. The ending is so bad, I audibly groaned. Also pro tip: confusing is not the same as mysterious and vague. If i spend over half the movie utterly confused and have no idea what’s going on, you’re not being mysterious it’s just frustrating to get through.
Since you mentioned your pins I'm still so jealous that you have a Childs play 2019 pin I love that movie 😸💙
6:39 Can't blame you for wanting to walk out on The Grudge reboot. The only good thing that came out of it for me was a heated Google user review I wrote on a whim the next night that apparently lots of people found helpful. 😆
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO A PART 2 RANkING OF THE LOWEST MOVIES EVER THAT YOU LOVE ON IMDB,I KNOW YOU DID IT BEFORE BUT I REALLY WANT MORE,AND YOU SAID IT IS MORE ACCURATE!😁😁😁
Wow its so interesting see peoples different opinions, the visit is in one of my personal fav horror movies
the lighthouse is so not a pretentious mess but go off sis hehe
Interesting... I love Don't Breathe!
The Killing of a Sacred Deer is one of my all time fav movies but I just KNEW you weren't going to like it as I've been subscribed for such a long time and I'm used to your taste. Besides TKOASD and The Lighthouse I definitely agree with your list! I absolutely love these types of videos so keep up the good work Sarah!
Always love seeing different opinions. I absolutely love Sleepaway Camp (love 80s slashers) but understand why you don't like it.
I’m genuinely curious about how the ring is your favorite movie when ringu exists. Also, if you haven’t done so you should read the book because it’s great. Disagree with a lot of your takes but that’s what makes horror such a fun genre, it’s so varied and the community is full of people that like all kinds of stuff.
What is ringu? I even searched for it and it refreshed to just Ring lol
@@JM-mr6pz Ringu is the original Japanese film that The Ring is a remake of. You can probably also find it under the title Ring.
@@jeremyadams7125 I watched The Ring and Ringu back to back and although its nearly identical the original japanese version is simply better in nearly every scene. TBH there are few remakes where I think the newer version ( usually English language) is better Funny Games is one example
I’m soooo glad you didn’t like the killing of a sacred deer too 😭😭 everyone always recommends it
Its a fantastic movie, that's why.
You look like Donna from that 70’s show, you’re so pretty! Also I do like some of these movies especially happy death day 1 and 2, it’s okay that you don’t like them since we all have different opinions
im not gonna lie, I had the same experience with Dead Silence. Every time it has been on the tv, I completely phase out and cannot remember anything about it.
Sleepaway Camp 😭😭😭😭 so cheesy but I love it. Aunt Martha haunts my dreams forever !
Also I totally agree about Hellraiser. I don’t know what it is, maybe I should revisit it but I couldn’t get into it.
ok i haven't finished watching the video, im gonna go ahead and say that the movie in the top 50 she didn't like is the lighthouse :)
edit: told yall
literally me, listening as she goes through the final five, just "Oh man. Is the highest rated one she hates The Lighthouse? She hasn't mentioned it yet. I bet it's The Lighthouse."
Later...
"YEP, it's The Lighthouse." LOL
I hated the lighthouse lol
The killing of a sacred deer I liked that movie but I definitely can feel the struggle for “The Lighthouse” I tried to watch it because it was so highly rated and couldn’t after 20 minutes. Never seen Climax, Dear Mommy, or sleep away camp. So I definitely will check them out and see if I feel the same way you do.
Loved this video !!! I’m honestly shocked you didn’t enjoy ‘ don’t breathe ‘ and OMG ! I thought I was alone by not liking sleepaway camp ! What I liked the most about happy death day is that finally it was movie with people at uni , so I felt connected ! And omg the purge movie is actually amazing but I of course respect your thoughts
Thank you for being unapologetic in your opinions! I love that you feel secure in your likes and dislikes to share with us. I liked the final movie, but I totally understand people who didn't like it, my best friend and her mom HATED it. Love your content and hope you and your furry family are good
I absolutely loved brightburn, such an interesting (and kinda realistic) take on the Superman original story. It freaked me out so much I think about it to this day but will never ever watch it again
I agree. Brightburn is flawed for sure but so incredibly dark and violent with a great apocalyptic end. I found it really unique in the horror genre.
@@nmoddentity8401 totally had me rooting for lil Brandon
to me Brightburn is scif/fantasy with a touch of horror. Would anyone really classify the superhero series The Boys as horror?
I loved the lighthouse and the visit. The visit is super unrealistic obviously but it was oddly creepy, however what I find creepy may not be creepy and uneasy for others.
The lighthouse was really good acting from both actors, I thought it was a bit slow and weird but then I went into it knowing it was metaphorical and a piece of art so I think by doing that, I was able to understand the dark elements. Wendigoon explains the breakdown of the movie pretty well and I forget the CZcamsrs name, but he talks about the ending and does a good job discussing the art behind it.
"Ratings not matter" - Sarah Hawkinson. Going on a t-shirt asap.
Regarding your thoughts on Dead Silence, I've had the same experience with several movies recently. I try to rewatch them and it's like my brain simply rejects the movie. I've given up. If it's good, you remember it, ya know?
That would make a great T
hey bestie!
Amazing content
"it IS a work of art... artistic choices were made." is possible one of the greatest subtle pieces of shade i've ever seen thrown
I will cause some real controversy by saying one of the horror movies that most horror fans seem to love and I do not is Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It is one of my least favorite horror films.
I’m not a huge fan of it either. It’s okay and I understand it’s importance but it never captivated me.
Hell Raiser is one of my personal top 10 favorites.
I was desperate to see it for years and I really wanted to like it. I knew nothing about it other than Pinhead, who I'll admit is great as a horror icon. But I'm not good with huge amounts of gore. I'm not big on body horror stuff.
Adam Lawson
same. that movie messed me up and i wasn't even a kid when i watched it.
it just made me so unbelievably uncomfortable and disturbed in way i still can't explain.
this perfect mix of a the fucked up storyline, oppressing yet epic music, sound effects, 80s visual effects, lighting and costumes just did something to me.
The Strangers is terrifying! This is an awesome movie
I enjoy home invasions horror and loved the Strangers. I was very scared. I think because their presence was subtle.
sleepaway camp is in my top 4 horror movies. i just love it so much. that and the strangers is somewhere in my top 25 but prey at night is my 3rd fav horror movie. also, yes give dead silence another chance if you haven’t! i do agree with a lot of these though!
I'm new to your channel I love it. I respect your opinions and views. Thank You for giving me my horror fix. Whats your thoughts on Wrong Turn?
"The Killing of A Sacred Deer" is one of my favorite films of the past few years. Barry Keoghan is simply creepy and menacing. Some very unpopular opinions - I've never cared for the original "Halloween" or "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". I know they're considered classics of the genre, but "Massacre" was just silly to me (despite Marilyn Burns' amazing performance), and "Halloween" seems very dated now (although I do recognize it's importance; it practically launched the low-budget horror film wave). I just saw "Climax" for the first time a few months ago, and it's my favorite Gaspar Noe film, even though I still need to see "Love." Another fun video, Sarah! Thanks for posting.
I didn’t enjoy perfection at all! So I’m with you on that, it was too hyped up by the time I watched it and didn’t see the point for it.
I didn't mind the first third (till the arm), and think it would have been better as a short film. It just seemed to keep changing genre too, but in a bad disjointed way.
@@alwaysahollyday4139 Yes! I agree.
I would love a Dead Silence video. It just has that 2000s charm including a “twist” ending. I think you would remember if you watched the end but then again I have so much nostalgia tied in with that one when I was Wan obsessed along with True Blood. One of my favorites to rewatch but love this list. I feel like this list is a fun way to not be so serious about ranking and if others don’t rate your faves highest. It’s okay and love hearing why!
There's one part in dead silence that scared me as a kid. The part in the basement of the funeral home, in the crawl space.
I fully agree with you about The Lighthouse! I couldn't get through it. I ended up watching the foundflix video for it instead lol
the visit is so good omgggg
I disagree with about half of your takes, but enjoy your content nonetheless. This video was no exception lol. How brave of you to continually drag The Lighthouse. I adore it, but most definitely understand why some don't. A bit off topic but i'm extremely curious to hear your thoughts on Ringu.
Give Dead Silence another chance. There's a jigsaw cameo in there too! Also I love Revenge and Happy Death Day. I don't know I'm a 34F. I hated Midsommar, but I have experienced a profound loss in my family that it might connect with me now.
I love hearing opinions that differ from mine - they give me a new perspective on things I like (or I don't like) and it's so refreshing. On a side note, I feel better seeing other people disliking Don't Breathe, I saw for the first time during an all-night horrot marathon at my local independent cinema and I was shocked by how bad it was! I guess the fact we watched it together with 5 good movies made it even worse, but seriously, the whole concept was appalling and the writing was beyond my worst nightmares. It wasn't even worth watching it for the lolz in spite of being in a small cozy cinema surrounded by people who agreed with me. I was so confused by the number of people on the internet who liked it 🤣 This just shows how radically different people's taste can be :")
Haha I knew it was the Lighthouse because it’s really praised by horror fans. But I wasn’t that into it even though I really wanted to be.
Same I hated it
i love your opinions. (i didn’t like the strangers too BUT brightburn was great - and climax omg)
oh it is so nice to hear someone having the same thoughts about the lighthouse as me :’)
