@@epicphantom589 when you wrote fan fiction about the ewok people being uplifted technologically and educationally into a first rate species, and joining the republic as a minor member, with 3-4 ewok fighters joining Leia and Han's household guard in their skyscraper quarters on courascant. This begins a long history of republic and ewok relations, as ewoks on the moon are drafted to patrol it for stranded imperials, and uplifted educated ewoks turn to droid and computer repair and light guard service with the republic. They make great ceremonial guards who can still be useful if a real fight ever came. I also believe luke finds one force sensitive ewok. Its a descendant of the ewoks from the ewok adventure movies, to make the continuity make sense, and you can say the heroic nature of the ewoks involved were signs of their force sensitivity, leading to the great candidate of that ewok padawan.
Some ewoks even become pilots or merchants, and the slow migration of second generation post ds2 ewoks and their comfortable positions during the construction of the new republic.

The fact that you can clone at least 6 Snokes (i've never counted how many were in that vat in RoS) from however much genetic information they had from Luke. The Kaminoans were able to clone Jango Fett from a very limited supply of DNA millions and millions of times over for years past his death, but let's grant that midichlorians won't let you clone force users perfectly or maybe it takes more DNA. An untrained Rey was able to defeat Luke in combat. Snoke absolutely shat on Rey in the throne room in that same movie. That means that with the number of Snokes that Old Palps had access to he could've absolutely destroyed the resistance without the use of Kylo Ren. The problem isn't the fact that they used his cells it's the sheer amount of fuckery that the implication of them using his cells causes. Because they could have a squadron of Snokes with the Force abilities of Luke MFin Skywalker. No matter how good Luke is he can't contend with 6 people with 75% of his strength.

Actually you're wrong. Vader, while powerful, was a mangled version of what he 'could have been'. While still one of the most powerful force users in existence, the damage he got inflicted with on Mustafar was so intense and far reaching that he was in effect 'crippled', never to reach his true potential (and therefore never be able to succeed Sidious on his own). The Rule of Two in Sith Mythology clearly dictated that it's purpose was that Both Master and Student where eternally locked in competition to one-up eachother. That way, even if the 'more powerful' master died, atleast the closest thing possible survived to keep on growing when the master essentially fell. This also meant that neither Apprentice or Master ever had to limit themselves in their pursuits of power.
Vader never managed in Star Wars to overcome Palpatine. The Series makes a very harsh and clear point of this. Infact, Vader is defeated by his Son who, again, was too weak to square off against Palpatine himself either. Vader didn't really 'defeat' Sidious, he just committed suicide by grabbing the man and tossing him down the Reactor shaft. That is not a victory, it's mutually assured self-destruction.
Darth Vader was certainly powerful enough to crush any run-off-the-mill Jedi or Sith, but against the Power-Ceiling that is Palpatine he was never capable enough to crush him on his own. Sidious knew this, he knew how crippled his 'greatest Creation' was, which is why he incessantly schemed to find a more worthy Suitor for the position of his Apprentice. Clones of himself, clones of Anakin and his family, Anakins family itself in terms of Luke, later on the distant relatives of Luke and Leia in the form of Kylo.

Luke did know about Exegol. Anakin likely told him about Exegol but Anakin himself didn't know that Sidious was capable of soul transference. Anakin might have assumed that the Sith Eternal was merely a secretive faction of the Galactic Empire and underestimated the cult's independence from the Empire. It should be noted that many Dark Side factions do exist like the Knights of Ren. The existence of the Sith Eternal is a classic Palpatine move as he had contingencies after contingencies. From the Vader comics, Sidious knew Vader was turning to the light likely sparking the reason for Sidious growing interested in Luke becoming Vader's replacement. However, Sidious underestimated Anakin's love for his son causing his sudden downfall. Sidious' plan was to use the Sith Fleet and his own Dark Side powers to eradicate any resistance against the First Order in Exegol. He would've been successful if Rey was not backed up by Jedi Force Ghosts, including Anakin.

      Here’s why that’s important
Giant Kyber Crystals are used to power planet destroying super weapons like the Death Star and Starkiller Base
For the Excelgol Star Destroyer Fleet used in Rise of Skywalker, they’re still being built
But Palpatine revealed these Crystals are different
Sith Sabers are red because Sith make their Crystals suffer until they bleed red
The Excelgol Star Destroyers’ beams are red because their Kyber Crystals are made to suffer too
Palpatine broke Vader to submission, making him feel the giant Kyber Crystals’ pain, showing him that as long as Vader walks with Sidious, he’ll always suffer. But it’s the only way he’ll share his power.
That revelation broke Vader, and turned him back to Sidious’ side for now at least
All this explains how Rise of Skywalker happened. Not only the presumed origin of Snoke, Palpatine’s survival in Clone bodies, but the Excelgol fleet and how dangerous they are compared to the Death Star
All this was Palpatine’s plan for the future
If he lived, then he’ll fortify his rule of the Empire with these weapons
If he died, then he’s ready for the future

@@armaniwebb4467 I scrolled through quite a bit to get to this comment. A couple of notes. One... this entire event is just a testament to not only Vader's tenacity but his sheer power in the force, something even Palpatine realized. Palpatine never really questions Vader's power, only ever his potential. Sidious himself, as you mentioned, fully embodied the darkside. There's not even the slightest glimmer of light. There's no alternate him he constantly fights. Vader, however, was once good as Anakin, a glimmer of light he could never fully put out. To me, it was Anakin feeling the pain, not Vader. A true darksider, like Sidious, would be numb to it's cries. I doubt even Maul and Dooku would even be able to stand it. Dooku, being a darksiders, never embraced it as Vader and Maul. Maul, though very much embroiled in the darkside, just seems like he wouldn't be able to face off the Kyber still standing.
I'm very proud of this comic series showing that for anyone less than Sidious, even by a small margin, Vader would annihilate them. However I do acknowledge that Disney, cleaning up their mess is quite obvious. It fills plotholes only to make new ones... soooo.... -_-

@@callumgraham6272 Luke opened himself up to the force and heeded what it told him at the Death Star trench. THAT is something untrained force sensitives can do as established by canon. That’s also why his father Anakin was such a great pod racer. What has NEVER been established in canon is someone harnessing and using force abilities like the mind trick and telekinesis without any training at all. Again, even Anakin, conceived by the force itself had to train to do things like that. As for Luke, he trained with Yoda for days, possibly weeks before he left him at the end of empire strikes back. Rey had 3 thirty minute sessions, one of which consisted of nothing more then (not my) Luke complain about the Jedi the whole time. Even after that training with Yoda and year between ESB and ROTJ Luke was still nowhere near strong enough to beat Palpatine yet. The emperor would have killed Luke effortlessly if Vader hadn’t saved him in the end. Whereas Rey beat Palpatine almost without any effort. Finally, the only reason Luke beat Vader was because he momentarily skirted the dark side. If he hadn’t done that and if Vader hadn’t been going easy on Luke the whole battle then Luke would never have won that fight. So no, Luke is not a Mary Sue.

The fact that Luke's hand was there makes me think that the strand-casts Palpatine was making were made not only with his genetic makeup, but Luke's. Being a Sith Palpatine was always seeking more power. He realized when he first met Anakin, how powerful he was, and as he watched him grow throughout the years how powerful he could become. Palpatine knew that Anakin would be a powerful ally and apprentice if he turned to the darkside. He also knew how much of a threat he could have been if he stayed a Jedi. This was also true for those born from the Skywalker bloodline, which is why he wanted Vader to turn Luke to the darkside, and eventually replace Vader as his apprentice. But that wouldn't stop Palpatine from seeking out ways to make himself more powerful. Using his vast power over the galaxy and his connections he probably had Luke's severed hand recovered and brought to Exegol to use his Skywalker DNA in his cloning experiments so as to add the power of the Skywalker bloodline to his own great level of power, and those of his strand-casts.
