But it would make more sense between ANH and TESB, because Vader's armor looks very different in ANH.

George Lucas explained long ago that Vader still views himself as the chosen one. That evrything he had to do was the only way to achieve his destiny, by being as sneaky and as violent as palpatine, so he coul finaly put an end to him.

@@awesome8831 I read a Star was comic where Luke died and Leia had to take over and be trained by yoda (she wasn’t as strong as Luke in the long run but was good at following instructions) In short she killed Vader not long after her training and talked to Luke’s force ghost every once in a while but quit being a Jedi....
@@xxxhero7275 Those are good comics, but they're simple what-if stories. There was even one where vader was redeemed earlier and got white armor.

Damn, you can really see how powerful Vader truly is. At this point, he willfully embraces the pain, and the rage, and he fully allows the dark side to consume him.
This comic honestly gave me flashbacks to Revenge of the Sith and it was pretty cool to see Darth Vader without his cape even without a cape he is still menacing
So here we go! I like the way they “reconciled” Vader and Palpatine, for now. Puts us on track for ROTJ. Great presentation of the comic. I’ll get on KINDLE and buy the issue. I “do the right thing”. I buy the book, but I “read” it here on your channel. More like “watch”’ it. You have invented a new way to “consume” comic book media.

Ochi lives, though, until (presumably) after ROTJ. Luke and Lando were pursuing him to recover the Sith Wayfinder. He was either a useful tool, or a lucky fool........

I've enjoyed the previous the Darth Vader comics, but ever since the last two sequel movies it's just not the same for me anymore. Knowing the direction where the OT leads to now just disappoints me, and I wish I could reinvigorate that love again.
I just don't consider those movies Canon and suddenly it's all okay again

Vader's highly reflective armor looks very cool when he's on the newly built Death Star to greet the evil Emperor soon to arrive.

No, more that the bleeding kyber crystal almost killed everyone there and yet Sidious was not phased by it. That he could obtain Luke's hand before it rotted. He really does represent the power meant to be craved by the apprentice.

So uncivilized..
What's insane about all this is Vader is MIRED in pain for much of his life and everything that goes with it....but Sidious leads a bit of a charmed life for a Sith. Most Sith lords get the real runaround in terms of adversity. Palpatine has always just....been leet. He never gets fucked up beyond his own Force lightning....but that's....like a moment. And Sidious just gets good mentally....just pure book learning and mentoring. I'd imagine Sith like Vader (obviously crippled to the point of diminishing returns) would become greater than Sidious just by....ya know EXPERIENCE

Hey! Where can I buy these comics myself? I’ve been looking for them but couldn’t find any.
It's likely the Vader Comics 2020-2021.
Edit: if I'm correct, the comic is still ongoing as the series is trying to connect the original trilogy with the sequel trilogy
Go to any local comic shop that sells modern comics. You can ask the staff there to hold the new issues as they come out for you. They probably have a majority of the back issues too.

I would suspect that the fact they aren’t force users. They aren’t a threat to him. They may out rank him in the empire, but they aren’t sith. JMHO
I think it’s more ‘you’re not even worth his attention’ so he won’t even bother go out of his way to get his revenge on them.
Palpatine made Vader second only to himself in terms of authority in the empire. He said as much when he first introduced Vader to the Imperial Officers

so in short vader is beeing played by palpatine again just like the first time,and he falls for it again,sounds more like sith just often fool themselves to keep beeing a sith.
they want to feel pain in order to keep the hate going so if they dont feel pain there power would resede,in other words sith are nothing without beeing mentaly and physicly tortured and that is sad.
its sad that vader has to remove all choices so his son wil have to be at his side,this also shows that vader is his sons last choice,this says more about vaders desperation then annything els.

@@thebossman9176 This is not legends. These comics are 100% Disney canon and Ochi is also an original character from Disney. This series is taking place in 3-4ABY, just before Return of the Jedi.
Rey isn't born until 15ABY and we know Ochi dies on Pasaana some time after that. So as far this story goes, his plot armor is as strong as any of the main characters.
