My only issue with the MVP is, Lamar wasn't in the MVP discussion for most of the season until the last 3 or 4 weeks. Dak, Purdy, Stroud played better and put up better stats. But congrats to Lamar, the pressure is definitely on him to get to the SB.
Lamar has been in the mvp conversation all season. When he blew out two nfc teams first in their division. Why are we acting surprised that a man blowing out the lions, Seahawks, 49ers, and dolphins is MVP. If this was Josh Allen people wouldn’t stop dickriding him.

Yeah Lamar had a great statistical season his first MVP year. This year it was simply not the case. I think Lamar may have changed the precedence in his second MVP. This is the first time he didn’t have anywhere near the better stats for MVP and yet he won. This is probably a year it would’ve been better to have a non Qb like Christian Mccafrey or Tyreek Hill win the award. This actually could open Pandora’s box where we aren’t giving MVPs out based on hard statistical data, logic, and facts but instead are going off of eyeballs, emotions, and feelings.
What he do in the playoffs? Oh that’s right choke as the 1 seed. In two wins, same as Lafraud, Baker got 10 tds to 3 picks. Lafraud got 6 tds and 6 picks. Baker better than Lafraud.

I'm sorry but he (Lamar) is not the MVP. If he was such a great player, he would have taken advantage of the the defence limiting The Chiefs to 3 points in the second half. Not being able to change/audible calls at the line to get his team into more successful positons (everyone keeps blaming the OC for not running, and nobody calls Lamar out for not changing ANYTHING at the line) is his fault too. He's very much one of the top reasons they lost the AFCCG.
I am going to help you out. Actually KC played 2nd half conservative because of a 2 score led. They just kept running the ball to keep it safe against a good defense. Giving the defense respect.That is what a good team does.
If Flowers had scored, KC would have adjusted and went back to attack mode. The defense did not stop Mahomes from throwing to Kelce, KC and Reed stopped it.

Lamar Jackson won because everyone looked at the Ravens as a whole and their win record even though Josh Allen crushed the stats and had a worse O-Line. Also everyone talks about josh allens interceptions but no one talks about how most of them were on third down and no one is counting the amount of fumbles Lamar had. If you add up the turnovers for each player Lamar had 18 turnovers and 29 total touchdowns while Josh Allen had 25 turnovers (including the 3rd down interceptions and arm punts) and 44 total touchdowns. Josh Allen should have won MVP and the fact he wasnt even a Pro Bowler is disgusting.
Most of those fumbles came from him and J.Hill not on the same page when it came to the read option and the other ones blind side sacks
The MVP should go to the best player in the NFL regardless of position, not the 4th best quarterback.
Heres a fun fact about QB MVPs. Every QB MVP has had at least 70% Or more of their teams Total TDs. Lamar had 55%. Hows that valuable?

Dak had 76%
Mahomes 73%
Stroud had 71%

Lamar is a different kind of QB so his numbers will be different than more of a traditional QB.
That said, that defenses still plan around making him throw the ball, and figure they can beat him that way, is a problem.

Well don't worry as Lamar will always be criticized...it started before he even got into the NFL. We have to remember that it takes a team, and it starts with coaching. You can have the most talented team in the world but if the coaches do not know how to use those assets...you get the same results of losing.
