Saying the Chiefs only have 1 good corner in Sneed is hilarious considering Trent McDuffie was a first team all pro this year lmao. Joshua Williams and Jaylen Watson are also exceptional slot corners. Keep underestimating them!
The secondary in KC is stacked, but no one wants to admit it. The Great Josh Allen was used as Check-Down Charlie for three quarters because they didn't trust him to consistently beat this secondary and keep pace with Mahomes.
McDuffie, Sneed, and Reid headline that group, but as you pointed out Williams and Watson are exceptional for the guys they generally match up against. Connor also had a great game against Buffalo as the next man up.
This secondary feels like a stacked WR room in reverse. When you have two WR1s, you get a mismatch of 2nd best CB against a WR1. Well when you have two CB1s ready to lock down a WR1, their WR2 is getting covered a lot better than normal.
They meh they get away with alot of holding and if mark Andrews comes back that’s a whole different ball game
On top of the cbs. Chiefs has a great LB room as well.
That same secondary was able to slow down the like of hill waddle and Mia track star so please with downplay MIA has better skill positions then bal is going to be relying heavily on Lamar playing perfect to win. He’s gonna need a 158.3 passer rating and defense is going to have show up against KC. I know they handled the 49ers but having talent and unproven qb is different then facing a 2x Super Bowl champ

If you milk most of the clock, but never score, your opponent only needs one score to win. The reason why teams that win TOP normally win is that there is a correlation between sustaining drives and scoring, but it's not a perfect correlation.
The fundamental issue is that every time you score you give the ball back to the other team. At the end of the day, your opponent will have just as many scoring opportunities as you do no matter what you do. There is a chance you can basically steal one drive with clock management, but that only works at the end of halves.
