  • Feedback about your performance is NOT the same thing as feedback about who you are: The more you learn that difference, the less you will take things personally, and ultimately, the more successful you will be.
If you'd like to talk to me, I have a call-in talk radio show called Emotional Management on Monday nights from 8pm-10pm EST on www.kdkaradio.com . The toll-free number is 866-391-1020.

Thank you so much. I put my heart and soul into what I do. I can tell you that the work you're doing is no doubt saving people's lives. Anger is of course natural, and impulses are certainly hard to control at times, but doing the work you're doing is transformative. Definitely sending you and all the people you work with much peace!

    • @DrChristianConte

Yes! That's great to hear, because feedback about your performance is never personal, it's just about your performance. Sometimes it's helpful to imagine that you are the one giving the same feedback to someone else. You wouldn't want them to take it as a personal attack. And likewise, the same is true for you. I hope this helps! Definitely sending you all my best and tons of peace!

Thank you! Hey, and I as I frequently even say to myself, it's better late than never. I know I can beat myself up at times over wishing I had known in the past what I know now, but the reality is, we learn what we're ready to take in. Definitely sending you all my best and tons of peace!

I enjoyed the breakdown of the actions versus the intentions. Because we as people have great creativity because of GOD and can't seem to naturally produce the intentions we think at times. Thus getting feedback that is often times harmful. Great video

My rage is like nuclear level the one thing I have no clue why it's there or what made it. I've been trying and no matter how hard I try to aim it at certain things everything around me suffers. My fiancee puts up with it and trys to help me. I just don't know how to get loose from this rage permanently it makes me feel like a monster. I try and think about things trying to find out why but I feel a mental block in my mind that I don't understand.

I do have a video called getting angry without knowing why, but even if that doesn't help, I would definitely suggest that you talk to a professional counselor in your area. I think when we talk things out, it helps us crystalize our ideas. Also, I would definitely welcome you calling into my radio show on Monday nights from 8pm-10pm EST. In any case, definitely sending you and your fiancé all my best and tons of peace!

Love your videos Dr Conte, I have a question that is kinda related to this video
What if the guy/gal who is giving you feed back is interpreting your intention? How to deal with this guy?
It happens to me a lot

    • @OasemMesao

Especially when this person is an important one in your life, and he is totally misinterpreting my intentions in the wrong way

Feedback from prospective employers is a waste of time. They have no idea what you are like until you are in a job.
