Two more songs to checkout, studio of You Shook Me, & live at Knebworth (1979) In My Time Of Dying. Hard to believe this was their debut album, & they were only together as a band for about 2 months. Their first rehearsal was on August 19,1968, they as a band helped Page fulfill some concert obligations. They came back recorded & Page mixed & edited all in about 36 hours, it was released on January 12, 1969.
When that was recorded the drummer and the guitar player were both the best in the world at what they did. The band was like the Dream Team like how Jordan, Magic, Bird & Barkley played together in 92.

This was the song that put the Led in my head! That legendary bassline just strolls right down the base of my spine! Is this song Jazz? Rock? Soul? Psychedelia? Metal? The answer is Yes!!!
Four complete musical virtuosos at age 20! Every part of this song, from Jones' bass to Robert's singing to Jimmy's incendiary guitar solos to Bonzo's earth shattering druns are all complete masterpieces all in one song. To me it really is one of the best sounding Zep songs ever. It's simply flawless.
If we're going to talk about heartbreak... you better que up "Heartbreaker/ Livin' Lovin' Maid" and yes you absolutely have to listen to both. They have never been played separately on the radio. These two tracks are meant to be together kind of like "We will rock you" and "We are the Champions", or "Eruption" and "You really got me"... and well I'll just stop there.
In a heartbreak now... what kills me the most is that its largely my fault, I knew better and I still failed to control my words.. He will never forgive me, and I cant say I blame him. Sometimes you just cant take things back no matter what you do.. xo
