Hard to believe these guys were only together about 2 months, when they made this album in about 36 hours. Jimmy Page the lead guitarist & founder of the band produced mixed & edited all their albums. Page also uses a violin bow to play his guitar, the live from Madison Square Gardens (1973) would really blow your mind. The band hated being considered metal, they did hard rock, along with other great genres. They are the greatest band ever, thanks for your reaction.

So many metal bands began as huge fans of Zep and other such bands. The vid I'm linking to is a dude reacting to Black Sabbath's classic "Fairies Wear Boots." At about 6:40 you see him loving the song as it ends and then he just freaks out about how it's from 1970. About how he now realizes how Sabbath inspired HIS fav bands like Korn, Metallica, Iron Maiden.
