As a teen in the 70's I would sit in my room, smoke a bowl blowing it out the window, light a smoke to cover the smell and put on some Zeppelin pink Floyd, Sabbath or the doors and chill out.

As a young teen this was one of the very first albums ( vinyl ) I owned, it blew me away.
I still have all my Led Zeppelin LP's. just can't part with them😅

Seeing them in concert was awesome! Them breaking up was awful for fans!! This is the music you listen to while burning it up and relaxing. This is sit back and chill music.
The original Mission Impossible theme does come from this same time. The theme was created for the TV show in 1966, while this Led Zeppelin song is from 1969.
I love this album so much, I have owned it in vinyl, 8 track, cassette and CD. It is so much fun to see people just discovering the awesome music I grew up on. It's almost like being able to revisit my youth.
My son's grew up banging their heads to this. When they grew up ,they became Metallica aka heavy metal fans. Somehow all my vinyl of Zep is in their houses now.

Funny you describe actual events from my youth. We (me and 2 friends) were 14 in my room “partaking” in some “activities” and blaring this tune and my father storms into my room and exclaims “WTF is the name of this song?” , as my stoned ass friends stood in fear of my old man. “Dazed and Confused” I reply sheepishly and my father quips “F#cking fitting, isn’t it? Because Baron looks dazed and the McGonnagle kid is CERTAINLY f#cking confused”

I also highly recommend drink and smoke while watching "The Song Remains the Same" the concert they did in 1975 at Madison Square Garden. The young man that told me about it said "Every person on Earth needs to watch it at least once before they die."
Also "Mothership" is also a great thing to own. 2 discs of music and 1 DVD with random live performances. I was glad to watch it on old school Bose speakers I luckily found for $100 that I had hooked up to my tv. Led Zeppelin is truly Legendary

This is the legendary band ...Led Zeppelin. They were a Rock -Blues band that were all musical geniuses. So complex instrumental music. Not two of their songs were ever similar. The term rock stars is referring to Led Zeppelin. Listen to all their songs. Listen and react to Stairway to Heaven live st MSG 1973
