- I posted an instagram question box a couple of weeks ago and today I'll be answering some of them! Here I answered how I prepared for it, the requirements for my course (MPhil), scholarships, and other plans/universities I applied to!
I mentioned some books in this video, but those aren't the only books I read, they are the ones I cited alongside some journals, esp. for my Oxford personal statement (which I think is more academic than my Cambridge PS) - I can talk more about my Oxford and Cambridge application in specific in separate videos in the future so do let me know if you're interested to see those! 🥺

Please make the personal statement video, i find it hard to write a good and 'distinct' one although i'm not in urgent need of it since i already got accepted to my uni of choice but i'm also considering masters so i think your video would help me a lot in the future, thank you so so so much for being such an inspiration, i feel so 'embraced' lol since i also came from a similar background to yours 😁 best luck for your masters there! 💞

OMG I am heading to Cambridge for the MPhil in Development Studies in October & got into Gonville and Caius college! I also have an offer from Oxford but Cambridge is my top choice :) Hope to see you there in a few months!

My university use English for teaching, and all out subjects are in English. Does this mean I don’t have to take the IELTS??

Ow so after graduating from Coventry University you applied to Cambridge University and has been accepted?
Hi vianqca ...I had a question regarding ielts ....I didn't gave ielts but I also completed my ug in university where we use English language regularly...in this scenario is it possible for me to get accepted without ielts in Cambridge?? ... kindly help me with this

Is there a pre-assessment, like the Arts-Humanities Admissions Assessment, for the MPhil application at Cambridge or is that just for undergrad?
I’m not sure about other courses but for mine (Development Studies) nope there’s no assessment!

Acceptance rate of IIT is 0.05% or something 😅 and even very very low for AIIMA which cant even be calculated 😢
Could you mention what your grades were like?
Since it was a UK uni, i guess i'm asking if it was a first class, 2:1, etc.

Is it possible to get accepted to Cambridge master if I already hold a master's degree from another UK uni? My undergrad was a foreign qualification which is hard to find an equivalent scale of the asked first class.I'm wondering if it's possible to substitue that undergrad requirements with my master's grades

Hey I believe you are still eligible to apply. There are a few students who already did their masters and they are doing a second master at Cambridge. Definitely still apply!

As in your score/transcript? If yes? It depends on the course, check the requirements on the course page But do aim for First class (if you're familiar with the UK grading system). At the end of the day you're competing with so many other students so nailing ur score really well is a given imo

Kak Vianqa mau nanya, minimum GPA yang Cambridge require itu Upper Class (GPA = 3.5/4.0). Kalau GPA kurang dari 3.5, apakah benar2 tidak bisa mendaftar dan otomatis akan ditolak jika mendaftar?
Hmm realistically speaking, I think it may be a slim chance BUT apply anyway aja! You never knew, mungkin kamu ada hal lain yang bisa compensate seperti kegiatan di komunitas, paper yang pernah ditulis, etc.

@@aireliqi2484 I got a First when I applied (in case you’re not familiar with UK system, it’s >70 or cumlaude or GPA 4.0 -> but take it with a grain of salt though because some converter will actually put 70 as 3.8 or something).
