Why hasn't anyone on Play to Win piloted an Akiri//Silas Turbo Artifacts? I have one built for cEDH and it's a monster. Win con is Consult Oracle combo but many different ways to win such as aetherflux reservoir + dramatic scepter, Saheeli + blasting station and dramatic scepter, underworld breach + any win cons that got countered/discarded/milled. Also run Locust God + skull clamp as a like plan z option. The is called Turbo Artifacts is because you cast as many ramp artifacts as possible while turn 1 Akiri, Turn 2 either cast Silas or go for the win with a combo or just simply hold up counter magic.
I think this channel deserves more views. Editing is nice and makes the games go by fast.... I wish I could join in for a game or two just to see how my K'rrik deck stands up.
I've become a huge fan of the Advantage Thrasios list, and have begun constructing it (minus the time twister for obvious reasons). How do you all feel that deck pairs up against Curiosity Control? My bud is on that, so I'm curious to hear what your guys thoughts on that match up might be like. I'd imagine getting to run things like Fire Covenant are huge in that match up, but it almost seems like Advantage Thrasios just outdraws Curiosity Control at times.

Oh I think I figured it out. I think the decks in question have artifacts that can either create or filter for the needed colors thus making the spells possible to cast. Is this correct? EDIT: the correct answer is the Mana rocks PLUS emiel and dockside to generate an arbitrary amount of colored mana

Spoiler alert!The only thing I dislike with remote play is the shuffling can get a little suspicious without cuts especially when everyone wins with the same card " Kinnan". It's probably just a coincidence, but you could just change the order of your cards in advance and if you're playing to win, why not lol!

In game 2, how would you be able to cast many, many creatures and then Finale of Devastation without colored mana? I'm barely exploring cEDH, guys, please go easy on me.
Most likely the deck runs some way to generate infinite colored mana through a Prismite or it runs Dramatic Scepter to make infinite colored mana. Either way, Im sure Dylan had some way. Worse come to worse, the deck probably runs Timetwister loops as well
First time I will agree with that statement and it is coming from someone that like cEDH .. but that always been the case at the very top end of cEDH (partners are a real problem , thrasios being one of the problem IMO ) . Games were still enjoyable though
@@iAMtunaFISH It wasnt criticizing them. I always love their content . It is fun and nice to watch, but you can still say the builds at this table all wanted to do the same thing and it wasnt too balanced Like 2 Stax/Control vs 2 Combo..
I think you guys need to get more creative with what you name with consultation. "Black Lotus" is classic, but "Storm Crow", "Goblin Game", and "1996 World Champion" are other viable options.
Looks like everyone is on the Kinnen train now, seems like it's just replaced flash. I enjoyed cedh for a while but it feels like most games you watch play out the same. Step 1: Get out Thrasios Step 2: Infinite mana Step 3: Thassa's Oracle This seems to be the way 95% of cedh games play out, feels like there is no real diversity between decks, this isn't bagging cedh simply an observation. It would be great to see some games without Thrasios or Thassas Oracle.
Actually I'm going to change that a bit, I really like the advantage Thrasios deck, multiple activations is something quiet enjoyable, I think my biggest issue is cards like lab man and Thassas Oracle, I'm not a fan of that sort of playstyle and it seems so dominant in the cedh meta
@@mgarratt101 thats the problem with 40 life each, killing via combat is not a good strategy so everyone tries to win via combos I can recommend conquest, it is a commander variant made by the cedh community with 30 life each, and 12 lethal commander damage That makes combat way more viable to kill people
Some people use toploaders (for whatever reason) on a $5k deck. I rawdog my $12,000 deck single sleeved. Some people are just born from a different cloth. lol
I have no idea how you can enjoy Kinnan, for me he is more format-warping than Flash and I really hope it gets banned, because it just forces you to play WUBRG, Thrasios or Kinnan himself with little variance of what is to be expected from the decks. The mono-colored commanders, Kess and so on have just disappeared, because everyone wants to jam this bad boy into his deck.

Or is the solution for other decks to run more removal/hate pieces in order to slow down his engine? Honestly the biggest turn off for me when it comes to CEDH is that the meta has so little variety. Something like Kinnan comes out and then the format is just about that card. We saw 4 decks that had different commands at the helm but they all were just trying to get infinite mana and Thrasios out. It's honestly really boring in my opinion
Mons’ deck is probably 4 feet tall with his hard deck protectors.
His deck box is actually a Fat Pack, so not really 4 feet tall :D
