Ian's comment about being the most winningest CEDH player holding true after back-to-back wins! Really sick
I had no reason to make count that Ken's turn started around 33 minutes and then ended up taking half an hour LOL Was great to see it piloted cleanly with the extra cards to make not only the players understand better but even the people watching. Also great to see how much talk the table had at every interaction point. Big fan of this episode overall
I think for us it was important to show a really clean board state and well executed Krark turn :) Ken is fantastic at doing this ❤

I love Krark/Sakashima. Puts so much pressure on the interaction of other players.
I normally don't comment on missed play opportunities (there's just too many in literally any MTG game ever), but Lua could've shuffled her Brainstorm cards away easily. Remember that "partners with" is an ETB trigger! When Haldan entered the battlefield, she could've targetted herself with the ETB and searched her library for Pako. Of course, that results in failing to find (Pako is in the command zone), but most importantly, it results in a shuffle.
If your commanders have "partners with", you can give anyone a free shuffle on ETB. (And searching for the partner, even, if one of your opponents happens to run it in their 99 and you want them to pick it up.) It's almost always ignored, but it can be useful!

I am super early into the video but one of my favorite things about partner with is that you can avoid getting brainstorm/sylvan library locked by fetching and failing to find the other partner when you drop one of the partners
The Pako list is very fun but it still has two REBs! I just turned that into a Pyroblast ✌
It was being swapped for tournaments and then I made a second list lol I’ll update it today! :)

Krark // Sakashima is such an Non-Deterministic win condition deck that I would love to take to tournaments if not for the 70 or 90 minute rounds timer, sadly I'll just stick to my Talion listing.
Did they exile the land from mox diamond (put sideways into GY)? I saw someone put the lane under their mox on a previous episode… it’s just discarded right?

Why did he paid for flusterstorm in archaich trigger? It will not storm on the copy so it would not matter if tyler is out of mana just one can counter him or am i wrong?

When Ian played Dockside then Sakashima he had infinite mana bouncing sakashima but then he played Oko and Dem Tut. Infinite mana + dem tut, everyone else tapped out ... 😢
Sakashima only comes back at the end of the turn.

27:03 Am i crazy or was dockside count 7. copy artifact is considered a artifact and a enchantment, so Ian should have had 4 extra treasures total after he copied it and flickered it

Serious question from a newbie. Couldn't ken copy sakashima the imposter with the phyrexian metamorph and use some life to net 10 more treasures. If I understood correctly dockside etb made 9 treasures. By paying the phyrexian cost he could even pay for rhystic and still net a treasure per iteration.
I don't say he missed it. That turn was fucking insane. Just curious if I got the interaction correctly
This line doesn't work, since at any point, Ian can sacrifice the treasure bringing the total down to 8. At most, this nets Ken 17 treasures leaving him at 1 and drawing Ian 17 cards.
