    I love how many different set ups all the players have, really shows that despite how some people feel, CEDH can be for everyone!

      That’s my intention when creating the deck tech videos and using the decks on the channel. Not only will a build a deck for people, I will play it on the channel to show people how it’ll play out.

    Haven't seen Liberator in a CEDH pod, this could be cool

      It was honestly quite fun. Especially since I was able to flash everything in. It’s just the issue of interaction lol.

    I feel like this game was rog/Si just trying to win, urza shutting down rog/si, and Marwyn trying to keep urza from popping off. All the while liberator is just big chillin lol.

    I love Liberator. I use it in the 99 of my Urza artificer deck

      People have told me I should run Liberator in Jhoira. I was considering until I made full upgrades to have it tournament ready and now can’t find a spot lol.

    Quick question here, I'm not sure what I'm missing. But how were you able to tap out to cast forsaken monument and also the spider thing and fleshraker?

    • @UnstableCommanders
      @UnstableCommanders  Před 28 dny

      So I flashed in Basalt Monolith at Rog/Si’s end step. My turn I tapped 5 for the Forsaken Monolith. The Forsaken Monolith lets my mana rocks tap for one more colorless, making Basalt tap for 4 instead of 3. Basalt’s activated ability is 3 colorless I untap it. I would then create infinite amount of colorless mana to cast Spyder and Fleshraker.

      @@UnstableCommanders Got it. For some reason I thought that was on the stack still, but that had resolved and the spider is what the rog/si guy responded to with born upon a wind. Ok that makes sense. Thanks!

    can you explain how you actually won the game, because it does not seem like you are actually presenting a deterministic win here.
    from what i can tell you have infinite colorless mana from basalt +forsaken monument
    You have up to 16 card draws off the Canoptek Spyder (basing this off your deck tech saying what creatures were in the deck/ obviously you would need to find those creatures with the mystic forge to get the card draw) unless you hit your ashnod altar to do the myr retriever/scrap trawler loop or just loop your commander (the Spyder does not trigger off of the eldrazi spawns the Fleshraker makes).
    The ability to play any colorless spell With the Mystic forge off the top of your library. however if you hit a land you can only get rid of it 1 time with the forges ability unless you find your voltatic/manifold key which can get you 2 more. drawing off creatures does also get you past those and you do show a creature in hand so that technically gets you past the first 2 lands you hit on top of your library.
    the Kuldotha Forgemaster does not actually get you whatever you want since it needs to tap as part of its cost.
    You have a lot going for you but it seems like you also have a very high potential to "brick" or "fizzle out" and the table might have scooped to early.

      @UnstableCommanders  Před měsícem +2

      Yeah I’m looking at it again after you said something and it did seem a little too premature of them to scoop lol. But I would’ve kept digging for the Sensei’s, Staff of Dom, one of the keys, or even Aetherflux to eventually zap players with the combo of Aetherflux and Forsaken Monument gaining me life. I think everybody was just in shock that I was able to pull that off when I kept thinking ah shit I’m about to lose against the Rog/Si lol. Oh well. None of us are perfect! But starting tonight when I record the gameplay I’ll make sure to tell them to present the win at its fullest before anyone says GG.

      @@UnstableCommanders yeah from seeing your deck tech you had a lot of good outs/ ways to dig in the deck until you could finish it. but from experience i've seen people get land flooded and so you always need to play it out just on that off chance.
