I bought the Essence Pure Nude highlighter based on your recommandation and I'm so glad I did! When I noticed how much texture my Wet and Wild Megaglo highlighter was showing on me I was kinda shocked and didn't know I had so much texture lol. But I love the Essence and it's perfect for my dry, mature skin. And I thank you for that review! As an oily gal I loveeee that elf whoa glow. I was afraid of the glow screen so I never tried it but I’ve been really enjoying the elf version. fear not oily ladies
Jess that Anastasia palette is incredible. I was a painter and I think you have to use weird colors together and they make this crazy pretty subtle looks.
I love the Maybelline vinyl. I saw on another channel that you're supposed to shake it well before applying and don't pay your lips together, until dry. Very pretty color on you!

Lisa Eldridge's liquid eyeshadows are lovely. I do also love Stila shimmer and glows - my 2 faves are Grace and Kitten - I think it does dry up quicker than others though. Emma x
The Maybelliene Vinyl ink in Cheeky is my favorite color too!!! I do also wear Coy once in awhile for a tad bit more color. But I love Cheeky the most!

The way you describe that powder reminded me of thw old wet n wild "bronzer" that was more of a face powder with a teeny bit of glow. Man I loved that stuff
The Tarte tubing is my current fave, hands down, and the travel size is what I prefer to buy for mascara anyway-- not that much to pay for it, and it's more hygienic anyway.
Laura Gellar has a contour brush that's my favorite brush to use for those Elf putty bronzer! It fits in the pot perfectly and it's a good brush. Also, Elf makes putty brushes for the putty blushes and bronzer. Thanks for the video!

I think Mixed berries in the taste juicy lip plump would be great for you !!!! A little deeper and more pigmented than the cherry blossom shade. I have both!
Agree to disagree with the makeup forever face palette. From a different view, it makes getting ready so quick and easy. You have everything you need right there, it sets down and looks like skin. It doesn’t last as long without powder but it also looks natural and you have a lot of options at your finger tips. I wish they would make more options, as I’ve noticed the bronzer colors can be a little deep and warm. I think if you like to sit down and do your makeup and take your time, it won’t be your favorite but for travel or for the minimalist, I think it’s perfect.
I agree with everything you said. The foundations look natural, and yellow corrector hides redness without looking unnatural. But I agree the bronzer colors are too deep. I would love to replace the darker one with something else, and the pans pop out.
Jessie, the shade "tulip" is absolutely gorgeous in that Tarte maracuja lip gloss. It's basically a rose, your lips but better. I think you'll love it. And it's not milky!

Maybelline’s vinyl lipstick in witty is beautiful in photos! My makeup artist gave me the tip to always go a bit deeper on the lips in photos. It’s really all you see and brings life to your face. Used it during our family shoot when my daughter was born and it looked beautiful!
For the Tarte Lip Plump I have the shade Primrose that I love, it's still pretty neutral but bit darker than the one you have so it might work better for you
I had the worst cystic type pimples from the Elf glow and I freaking loved it so much! It made me so sad. If they switch to a mineral and not physical formula I’m so there! And I don’t even normally have pimples 😬😮💨😭 love u Jessica! ❤
I love liquid eyeshadows. I use the Urban Decay lid primer and I've had really good luck with the Ulta brand of liquid shadows. It's very pigmented, lasts all day and doesn't crease
Wet n wild just came out with a shimmery and matte version of liquid shadows. I have slightly hooded eyes and used one of the shimmery shades and it didn't crease on me. One and done shadow. You might like those, can't speak on the matte version though. Your hair looks good today.
quick hack with the paradise mascara as i use it all time put a few drops saline salution for contact wearers in then put bush in and it brings it back as i hate dry formulas and my lashs dont like it either so when paridice drys out a bit i do this hack and it brings it back

I’ve been struggling with perioral dermatitis for yearsssss 😩 spf definitely makes a difference. I actually bought the elf whoa glow but I haven’t tried it yet because my PD is flared up. I stick to mineral only when my skin’s angry. Also, your skin might look flaky and dry but u have to be careful not to over moisturize with heavy occlusives. I use a basic b moisturizer and no actives til it’s cleared up.
Oh and your hair!!!!!!!! Girl…you already gorgeous but the new shark flex done took you to another level!! I’m like get me one now!!! I’m saving up for it now!!!!
For the tarte lip plump gloss, I have the shade peachy beige and cherry blossom and I definitely reach for peachy beige more. It pairs well with my other fave lippies too!

Jess! I started getting breakouts when I started religiously using the Elf Halo Glow Filter. I've stopped but not long enough to make a ruling...maybe there are similar ingredients but I hope not because I thought "I'll just use the sunscreen instead" 🙄🙏 I'm totally on the hunt for that green shirt girl! 💚 When I'm decluttering pallets, I will pull out individual colors I do love & put them in its own pallet. Just a thought. I did that with the recent ABH rose metals pallet.
I ordered the elf sunscreen seconds after seeing you trying it out a couple of videos ago. It is beautiful but it BROKE ME OUT with painfully deep pimples. I've stopped using it because I'm pretty sure it was that product, but I will reintroduce it in a couple of weeks to check it that's actually the case

@itsjessicabraun I, too, hated the Milani tubing mascara AT FIRST. Then I saw a tip by Jen Phelps to wipe off the wand before applying to remove the excess. That made a huge difference. Try it!
I have not been disappointed with Mario’s products. The ones I have. I have the all matte palette and it’s so good. Another palette I just discovered at Sephora by Artist Couture is the supreme nudes pressed pigment eyeshadow palette. Hot dam it’s a good one. I’m on the more oily eyelids side and I swear that palette sets my concealer so good. It lasts on me for more than 8 hrs. I work in a hospital facility and so I have to wear a mask and I noticed with a mask on my skin gets more oily but those shadows are chefs kiss! Another item I have completely been in love with is the Kulfi concealer in ice ice berry. I know there isn’t a lot of color options. But I don’t have to set it. I just blend it and I go over it with my sponge and that’s it.
About the Perioral Dermatitis: I’ve had it off and on for years. The prescription topicals seem to keep it under control mostly. I know everyone is different, but my triggers seem to be fluoride, cinnamon, and certain makeup/skincare with fragrance. I hope yours isn’t as ornery as mine, though! Love your videos❤️
Agree with everyone, you look stunning! The essence powder is off putting to me also but I would describe it as a chemical smell. Despite seeing other reviews on it, nobody mentioned the smell. Glad to know it is not just my package, or me 🥴.
I started using the elf brow and lash serum since finishing the grande, I would rather buy 5 tubes of that for the price of 1 tube of the grande and the results for maintenence are pretty much identical!

I feel like a similar palette to the makeup by Mario one is the persona identity palette!! It has similar colors and BEAUTIFUL shimmers that I honestly LOVE (…this is my way to convince myself not to spend $70 😂)

The Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex shadows are fantastic! Every other one I've tried creases like crazy. The Lisa ones are expensive but soooooo worth it!

I work in a hospital facility and so I have to wear a mask and I noticed with a mask on my skin gets more oily but those shadows are chefs kiss! Another item I have completely been in love with is the Kulfi concealer in ice ice berry. I know there isn’t a lot of color options. But I don’t have to set it. I just blend it and I go over it with my sponge and that’s it.
About the Perioral Dermatitis: I’ve had it off and on for years. The prescription topicals seem to keep it under control mostly. I know everyone is different, but my triggers seem to be fluoride, cinnamon, and certain makeup/skincare with fragrance.

Agree with everyone, you look stunning! The essence powder is off putting to me also but I would describe it as a chemical smell. Despite seeing other reviews on it, nobody mentioned the smell. Glad to know it is not just my package, or me 🥴.
I started using the elf brow and lash serum since finishing the grande, I would rather buy 5 tubes of that for the price of 1 tube of the grande and the results for maintenence are pretty much identical!
