Rachel Birdwell I used to work at Ulta too! That employee discount gets you haha. Plus all the extra special deals they give you once in a while...so hard to resist when it’s in front of your face 24/7! You should start one! Especially if it’s something you are passionate about. :)

I’m sure you’ve seen Emily Noel’s series she has done with “If I were a _____ again” makeup, and I’d love to see that from you! If you were a teacher, if you were a bride, if you were in musical theatre, if you went into labor, etc. It feels like these fun makeup tags you’ve been into lately, and I know you’re just as big of an Emily fan as I am.

I used to buy this peachy blush trio from CoverGirl and it would work as my blush, highlight and eyeshadow. My entire makeup collection would fit in a super small pencil pouch. Now, that pouch is my everyday touch up makeup that I keep in my purse. Hahah 😅

I hate wearing a lot of makeup when I know I'll be out and wearing a mask a lot. Especially since it's been super hot in Cali. It's always so funny cause I'll wear eyeshadow, mascara and my eyebrows are done. With no lipstick and barely any foundation on the lower half of my face 😅 sort of changes my perspective on what my must-haves are at the moment.

I went from a single drawer full of makeup in high school to multiple drawers full of makeup because of CZcams. Now, I just have a single bag of makeup that also holds my manicure stuff lol.

Alison Tull I’ve got a shoebox sized container to hold all my eyeshadows (palettes, quads, singles, etc), another one for blushes, bronzer, highlight & some pressed powder and a third one hold brushes. And it’s full. A double sided zip pouch has eye liners, mascaras, etc on one side and concealers and eye primers on the other side. Foundations I keep on my counter, along with primers and a white mixer. Products I’m using for the week go in a sort of tray. I swap stuff out each Sunday. And brushes and sponges are in 2 other brush wraps/holders. Plus backup stuff in another container lol

Milani Luminoso baked blush isn't a dupe but it's the only one I've worn for probably over 5 years now. I have a lot of blush, but somehow, I only ever wanna wear that one. It won't disappoint you.
This one is not a drugstore but even the packaging is the same and quite cheap: A'pieu Juicy Pang Jelly Blusher (Missha's sub brand).

Emily Noel did a video on Charlet Tilbury dupes and that pillow talk quad was duped with a colorpop pallet and I swear she did one on one side and one on the other it was identical and the colorpop is a bigger pallet so u can get that and other looks for like 18$ its one of her videos from last year I don't remember the name of the CP pallet but it was a bigger one 18$ and it was a neutral pallet but u can find out wich one one her channel.

I’ve recently realized that my makeup collection is much larger than I’d like. I’m sure it’s still a lot smaller than a lot of the community watching CZcams, but it feels like too much for one person. So I’ve been limiting how much I’m purchasing and I’m passing on a good chunk too. I’m excited to use up what I have so that I can curate my own smaller daily collection 🥰

I am 51 and two years ago I used to wash my face with soap. Didn't have moisturizer or anything to protect my skin. Thanks to Dr Dray that has change and now I even buy make-up when I used to have only mascara and 2 or 3 lipsticks. So thanks beauty vlogers. 😅

This was such a good idea! I am getting back into loving makeup again after loooong "battle" with cystic acne and am sooooo happy to have stored your channel back in my memories. I am so inspired and love your format and it's so funny to me to remember your reviews from maybe 5 years ago and so heartwarming to see you didn't change and become power hungry or vain like so many influencers have the danger of doing. I am so happy to be back :) and this litte corner of the internet will always be my favorite. I am excited to get back into makeup again and have confidence and have fun. I’ve got soooo very many drugstore products I simply won’t stop repurchasing them either. The drugstore has stepped their game up thanks to all the CZcams beauty channels! Of course there are many prestige products I do not plan on stop buying when I’m out of them. This video is very telling as to what you would own and use if all your makeup could fit into one typical size makeup bag! ♥️💯✌🏽🥰
I love the Physicians Formula BB Powder as a powder foundation. It settles down to the most perfect perfected skin finish. It’s getting harder to find, but if you see it, try it. It’s in a white compact with silver lettering.
I have oily skin and the IT cosmetics illumination powder is incredible. I discovered it because of Taylor Wynn, she would used it a lot when she had acne. I was actually surprised it looks so good on my oily skin. It’s a great powder!
I remember when your dad asked you what you were doing different, that your skin looked really beautiful and you shared it was the Peter Thomas Roth primer 😊 that was a minute ago lol
You are absolutely right, I have more than I used to before I started watching videos. I have a couple of powder foundations and a cushion foundation but no liquid ones. I have three concealers and three eyeshadow primers. I have about three primers too. So it looks like three is the magic number!

I went from a tiny bag with one product for each step (and no primer, brushes, tools, or anything else unnecessary, lol) to a few stacked drawers and a few jars of brushes after I started watching makeup videos. I bet you would win that bet with most people, lol. Love your videos!!!

This is super tricky for me because even though I’m 43 years old, I just found CZcams like 3 years ago. I had an entire vanity full makeup before then and now. I haven’t gone over to any high end regulars even though I have tried a select few. Overall, I’m just too thrifty to be influenced to far in any direction! I really enjoy the excitement and neediness that I see you and the few others I follow display where makeup related things are concerned. It’s nice to not feel alone in the world! Lol

so I took your advice and bought Aquaphor and you are right it’s completely different than their lip balm and works amazing! It’s completely saved my lips! Basically I just wanted to say Thank You! One of the best “CZcams made me buy it” purchases
Jamacian black castor oil is great for hair growth, even brows and lashes. I bought some after watching a hair youtuber and it help me grow back a spot that had been bald since I was 14. It's super cheap found a big bottle on Amazon with 2 tubes for brows and lashes for under $14.
LOL! when you said that us out here probably have more than the average amount of makeup. So so so true. Ever since I started watching beauty bloggers my makeup has increased tremendously.
I finally bought the No. 7 powder about a month ago and my under eyes have never looked better! I’ve struggled with dark under and inner eyes and nothing has helped over the years. Using this powder is the first time I’m proud of how my eyes looks. I also bought the Grandebrow serum and have noticed a huge improvement. Thanks for the amazing recommendations!
I live in the uk and have used the no7 lightly pressed powder for 21 years. I adore it, I haven’t tried the silver one though and will try it when I get paid on Friday. Nothing compares 🤗 I am very pale and everything was too dark up until I found this at 16 years old .

I love the Essence Pure Nude highlighter in the summer. I just turned 40 and it doesn’t emphasize any texture or fine lines. BUT I wish they would come out with a lighter and deeper shade. The one now is perfect for medium skin tones which I am in the summer. In the winter it’s too dark. I’m sure that for deeper skin tones the opposite is true. It’s such a good formula I don’t know why they’d stop with one shade.
I’m totally going to try the cream blush from Mac, I tend to love cream blushes.
I have dry skin (and I'm 42) and I like the lift and luminate, but the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless looks so much better on me.
I so related to your sentiment that CZcams has incrementally increased my makeup collection and purchasing habits. However, thanks to you and some other favorite channels, I have been trying to be keep a much more curated group of products that I truly love and use. This video was so much fun to watch🥰
It's disturbing how many of these I guessed and I don't even watch every video. I respect Jessica's decisions around makeup purchases and PR but definitely wish there were a few more surprises in the mix!

When it comes to mascara, I watched Taylor from Drugstore Maven recently and she's loving the L'Oreal Age Perfect mascara. She said if there's nothing else you use from that line, get the mascara. I have to agree. Prior to that, the it cosmetics Super Power mascara (I think that's the name) was my go-to. Not anymore - now every time I go to Walmart I pick up another so I'll never run out! It's about $8.50 and worth SO much more!!

Argan oil can help with hair growth! I use argan oil on my brows and lashes. They're SO much thicker. For the longest time, I had NO hairs at the tails of my brows. They're very full now! Only $10 and lasts forever.

Still to this day I use Benefit Dallas Blush because of you. I LOVE it! Simply brush it on cheeks, eyes and then voila! Good to go.

Two things...
(1) I literally had to start a Pinterest board for all the things you recommend that I want to try,
and
(2) There IS a scenario when Best Buy curbside pickup is an emergency!! COVID-19 ruined my boyfriend's proposal plans A, B, C, and D... So once he got to Plan E, he ordered a DJI Gimbal from Best Buy two days prior so he could still get our proposal on video! It worked, the proposal was beautiful (and socially distanced), and now he is my fiancé :)
