100% agree on the bronzer dupe! Love both of those products, but the L’Oréal one is overall better because it’s cheaper and the FINISH is amazing!

I would say if the Milani eye primer doesn't work for someone and/or they have very oily or hooded lids, I'd highly advise them to get Wet n' Wild's Photofocus eye primer - that stuff was bulletproof for me. I started using it 3 years ago and I could NOT get over how high-performing it was for how cheap it is. It's pretty thick and more on the dry side, but you don't need to apply much; you can work it between your fingers first if you need it to spread more easily. I never had creasing with it and my eyeshadow would look the same at the end of the day. Great ultra-affordable product.

Don't be fooled by the packaging- it is a whipped moussey formula just like CT, blends and lasts just as beautifully, and is a great color match!
I have one of those ulta cream shadows in Granite. It's so good!

Same. I really enjoy it. It looks flawless even though my skin is dry and doesn’t usually like powder. It works so well with the rare beauty foundation that you can’t even see I’m wearing makeup. I’m obsessed!!!
I use it all over my face and under the eyes, just wish they had more shades but it is an awesome powder

On the Revlon primer, try squeezing the bulb on the dispenser before you put in the bottle then release it in the bottle- you might find it draws it into the dispenser that way - I found it works with some of my thicker serums to get them to dispense enough product. Love seeing dupes for those expensive brands, and you are always such a cheerful and fun person to watch.
I worked for bare Minerals until my boutique closed at the beginning of the year. The bronzer was discontinued last year when the other compact bronzers were introduced.
Thanks for confirming that! It’s been my favorite and the ONLY bronzer I use on my fair skin. I wish I could buy up all the leftover compacts!
To be honest I like the drugstore store side a little bit better, looks a little more natural looking! Love your dupe videos...keep them coming. Can't wait to be done with my invisalign (10 more weeks of refinements) so I can try the lip gloss!!

Yes!!! I 💙 Jessica but as a fellow beagle mama, I’d love to see her consider moving toward cruelty-free. I know it would cut out some of her faves, but there are a lot more CF options out there than people think! (CF drugstore includes: Covergirl, Physicians Formula, ELF, Milani, and more!)
@@debbyd5729 agree! I also have beagle. There are so many options for cruelty-free makeup. It’s actually really easy to find good CF products that work for you. Vegan products, on the other hand, are harder to come by. Currently trying to only buy CF and vegan makeup and it’s a bit challenging.

@@debbyd5729 Unfortunately, Physician’s Formula is no longer cruelty free. They are now selling in Mainland China, which requires animal testing. I’m so disappointed, as they make some of my favorite drugstore products. Also, who goes backwards like that in 2020? You’d think brands would go TOWARD cruelty free status. I guess money talks. :(
Would be nice to see a CF version too. Not enough content creators supporting this cause. I believe its becoz a lot of the brands, esp high ends are still not CF. Content creators will lose a lot of subscribers if go 100% CF. Its so sad.

I own the revlon rose primer and my dropper doesn’t work either
I have bought 2 of the Revlon primers and must have lucked out cuz both droppers work great...I just hate those clear oil ball things i try to pour in my hand first then apply. I think the back of bottle says to smash them b4 u apply but mine still get some chunks here and there...But it makes my skin look so much nicer.I just cant b in a hurry lol.
I just ordered the xx Revolution quad, it looks amazing! I love that all of these shades are medium to light, I personally find this is more flattering on me day-to-day. Excited!

I've noticed that the high end versions tend to be more cool toned on color and that's often more flattering ,for my skin tone especially.
I agree! I find that Drugstore brands have a hard time getting color + tones "right"
You generally have to pay a but more for well-developer colors, especially if you have an eye for muted or nuanced tones. You can’t pay $5 for Revlon or WnW if you care about the color.
Ha, so I bought a drugstore foundation today and literally said the opposite, that I struggle to find neutral or more yellow toned foundations that work for me... maybe I am trying the wrong products 🤪🤣
@@Rielsufficiency haha same!! My foundations are never yellow/olive enough! But I did notice that drugstore products tend to be more warm-toned, and by that I mean orange. 😂
Luckily it actually ends up working for me! No matter how many times I’ve been shade matched at Sephora, it always looks pink on my skin when I walk out into the sunlight. Give me all the yellow/warm tones. 😂
Hardly anyone talks about the L’Oréal bronzer- but I love it. It’s the perfect tone for me. I hope it is never discontinued!

I found you a couple of months ago due to your Invisalign videos (which were helpful) then realized you did beauty videos too and you have quickly become one of my favorite youtubers - your reviews are always honest and you’re so down to earth!
Those hilarious creases were an everyday struggle for me when I was a teenager lol. Oily eyelids plus no primer. Drugstore makeup today is insane compared to then and that was only the mid to late 00's. I'd come home from school nearly everyday and have a stamp from my eyeliner on my crease. 😅
I do love my high end products but..... because of being home forever I have bought a lot of dupes so I can wear makeup at home and feel put together yer not waste my high end products to ..... sit at home. I’ve referred all my friends to you for this exact same reason. I know videos take a lot of time but more please 🤩🤩🤩🤩
I wish the milani eye primer worked for me. I'm allergic to something in the ingredients. My eyelids were so raw. I switched to the mac paint pot and haven't looked back. I also love the glow oil from Wander.
My eyelids are super oily and it broke my shadow..
Elf has a REALLY amazing BB cream, it has STUNNING coverage but feels lightweight on the skin, its BOMB! I have repurchased probably 3 or 4 times, super affordable too! $6 on Amazon 💙

I think a part of dupes for complexion products is also the shades. I am a very fair person and I often cannot use drugstore 'dupes' because the shade range doesn't go light enough, and I am sure darker skinned makeup wearers have the same issue. So I would love to see that as a part of the dupe discussions.
I feel you! Even "fair" or whatever they call their lightest shade tends to be a bit dark/warm on me. I also rarely see drugstore brands go particularly dark in their shades, and when they do they don't have a wide range of undertones.
My dropper for the primer does the same thing! I’m also not a fan of the beads I think that’s part of the problem. But I love your dupes!!

I have no idea why there aren't more people talking about how amazing the Loreal Lumi Bronzer is on social media. You and Allie Glines are the only ones I have seen hype it up. I even reach for it more than the PF Butter Bronzer because it has the silliest texture ever and never looks muddy because it just becomes one with my complexion. 😂

I’m really happy that I already own a few of these :) I picked up both the Bare Minerals bronzer (in Deep) and No. 7 powder in Medium (unfortunately it isn’t available in darker shades but luckily it’s so sheer that it still works on my skin) due to your recommendations months ago and I LOVE both. I also really like the L’Oréal bronzer in the medium shade and used to own the Milani primer but had to toss it recently because said “oils” separated. Can’t wait to grab that Eco Tools brush Xx

@@chaosbecomesher Honestly the only way Ive found of "duping" it so far is in singles. I have the Fame palette by Colourpop that Emily Noel suggested, with the similar colors to CT. Very pretty. I think I have one of the colors duped already. But honestly the shade that gets me the most is that matte rosy medium brown. I love it.
I will say the drugstore side actually looked stunning! Smooth and seamless. Sometimes I do wonder how much of a difference is there in the drugstore and high end ingredients? Apart from the once that are natural and all..

The drugstore options are fantastic dupes Jessica! I will say that the shade match of the tarte maracuja tinted moisturizer is a better color than the color girl but I think the cover girl blended better

I could tell which was the higher end only because of the lip. Apart from that, the rest looked SOOO similar! I definitely love watching these even though I do love myself some high end makeup! So interesting to see what is similar! I still need to buy that no 7 powder! 💕👏🏽

I actually prefer the way the covergirl foundation looks on screen! It has a tiny bit more coverage and overall makes your skin look like porcelain...but still natural porcelain haha
I've been using the Creme Shop BB cream (I got mine from CVS) and I really enjoy it! I have a similar skin type and makeup preference as you so you might like it.

I have oily skin and problems with creasing, and if you put on a very thin layer of the milani eye primer I find it works very well!

That Bare Minerals bronzer was my favorite!! I searched and searched and couldn’t find it again. Took months and months to find a bronzer I liked. But then in your bronzer declutter I think 🤔 you mentioned that L’Oréal bronzer and oh man! I have Fenty, Marc Jacob’s and Tom Ford bronzers in my vanity and that one puts them all to shame. It’s so much prettier! I couldn’t believe it! I also really like a Milani bronzer better than those high end ones too. And bronzer is my fave part of makeup (plus highlight) so I’m incredibly picky.
I had issues with shadows fading and creasing, and I found out that you need to create layers to keep it on (or use a very dry/clingy eyeprimer). So I do concealer, powder, and then eye primer(Rimmel eye primer) over the mobile lid and that works. The Sigma eye primer works well on it's own, but it's a very dry, hard to blend product; so I only use it on weekends or special occasions.
It's never a good thing when your primer has balls. 😆😆 I'm using the green goddess glow oil from milani. It's one of the few products that isn't irritating my maskne.

I just always popped the beads there’s more stuff in them , I rub it together in my hands first to break the beads open then apply.
The Milani eyeshadow primer is the BEST eye primer ever. I have oily eyelids, like I HAVE to wear a primer for my eyeshadow to not just completely slide off my eyes and the Milani one holds onto alllllll of the shadow all day long. It’s amazing!
