@@itsjessicabraun I think we all feel this way as well, I know I have always felt that we're secretly besties, but you just didn't know it lol. Great to see you step out of your comfort zone with the purple eyes, it looks beautiful!!
Girl, I mean this in the best way! You sitting on the floor, the purple colour story, the butterfly clips, the just playing around with new make up... It's giving 1990s, late teens/early 20s hang out sesh. đđđŁđŸđ I'm on the north Oregon coast, and the weather can't decide which season we're in. For three days now it's been rain/hail/sleet/snow on heavy rotation, with peeks of sun for a few mins once or twice a day. It's in the 30s at night, 40s during the day. The only thing blooming is daffodils, everything else still looks barron af. We should be in the 60s by now, sunny, and full tourist season. I'm not complaining, really. I prefer autumn/winter, but I wouldn't mind a couple spring days lol. đđ”ïžđŠ
Same here in Belgium. Been 7 months non stop of bad weather and I am pretty much dying of auto immune diseases now lol with vit D deficiency, lupus and low thyroid. It's due to certain currents over the ocean that it stays so cold. It is gonna be warmer now but not much sunshine. I hope May will be ok.
I wonât be the first or last person to say this but WOW, that purple eye look and the purple look all around is WORKING for you! We donât always see these kinds of looks from you, but something about it just screams Jessieđ

I saw this purple look on your stories and I love it! I have a similar problem with colour on my eyes. I think its a blend of finding what suits your features and what colours match your season. I just got the murad wrinkle corrector in the ulta 21days of beauty and it does help! I have a few deep wrinkles and they donât disappear but it does minimize! I wouldnât pay full price though
Does it work similar to the Peter Thomas Roth instant fix? That gave immediate results but left a white cast. Also once you put something on top like concealer etc. the firm hold goes away.
I got it at the sale, too! Also got the Peter Thomas Roth one during the sale to compare. The PTM makes your skin feel tighter but I think I prefer the efficacy of the Murad. It's less fussy and it feels nicely moisturizing because it has squalane in it. The metal applicator tip feels so wonderful on the eye. You just have to be careful not to tug when you're applying the formula because they say to add a small amount and it isn't extremely emollient when using so little. I wouldn't say it's a miracle worker for deeper lines, but I have an indented vertical scar from a childhood accident that is right next to my eye and it almost completely removes it! Also good for 11 lines and minor forehead lines. I wait a little while after applying and then proceed with eye cream. The PTR one...jury is still out. I like how smooth it makes my skin feel, but it's so finicky with what you can put on top of it so I may use it more for nights out when I'm not worried a lot about SPF or hydration.
If you don't want to buy the $80 Murad Wrinkle Corrector, the Ordinary's Argireline Solution has the same effect (instantly filling in fine lines) for like $10! The results last for quite a few hours, longer if you take the time to really press it in. Argireline (aka acetyl hexapeptide-8) is the active ingredient in BOTH formulas, just FYI. Hopefully this helps those on a budget!â€
@@CelesteGarcia71991 I do have the argiriline but it breaks me out around my eyes. You're right, though definitely a more budget friendly option if your skin can take it! I have pretty sensitive skin. I use the argiriline on my neck and think it helps.

Hi Jessica. Itâs early Autumn here in Sydney Australia. It is just starting to get cold in the morning. I am celebrating my 50th birthday today by watching some of your videos. Love the vlogs. Much love, Louise

But you're so young and fun, and adventurous in so many other ways, I'm happy to see that even just for this video, you didn't limit yourself :)
Jess - thank you thank you for actually adding notes about the foundation wear plus info on the other products. Iâm not trying to throw shade but so many other content creators say they will add notes after and I go to look and âŠ. zilch. Itâs very helpful and appreciated! đ
I tried the Murad and was so excited as their wrinkle eye cream is my favorite ever. I felt like all it did was mattify? After moisturizer and makeup I saw no difference. I have used the PTR one that people have so many problems with and like it more. I use a very small amount and after ten minutes I wipe where I applied with a barely damp washcloth to get rid of excess that causes that white cast. Iâm 44 with lots of fine lines and one deep one.
Awesome! The Ordinary's Argireline Solution has the same effect (instantly filling in fine lines) for like $10! The results last for quite a few hours, longer if you take the time to really press it in. I got the Murad during the sale too and Iâve definitely noticed a difference. Iâm 46 and donât have super deep wrinkles, but typical ones for a 46 year old.
The Ordinary's Argireline Solution has the same effect (instantly filling in fine lines) for like $10! They use the same active ingredient (argireline, aka acetyl hexapeptide-8). Just FYI, if you wanted to try out an alternative product :)
Jess - the purple eyeshadow looks absolutely amazing on you! And the weather here in Finland is currently constant battle between winter and springđ hereâs hoping spring wins this week.
Hi Jessica, hope all is good with yourself & your family. You probably already know this tip but a spoolie brush scrapes away dried mascara perfectly. I always have one ready to go when applying mascara coz i get it everywhere.
I love the Murad cream! It works but only for a short time like minutes. I have a deep smile line on my right side and it smooths that puppy out!! Im hoping in a few more weeks it will help them a little more. Iâm 43 almost 44 next month âșïž
Have you tried the new No. 7 tubing mascara? It works great and my lashes do not fall at all during the day, no smudging, no flaking, and easy off. One to two coats makes my lashes look great all day!
Itâs funny how for most people âout of the comfort zoneâ is color but for me itâs anything neutral because my go to color is pink lol. My first pink palette was the blushed nudes from maybelline Also while I was watching the beginning of this video, I was doing my skincare and Jess talking about the murad cream and wrinkles made me take a look at the corners of my eyes, I had some really deep wrinkles there from squinting so much and I was able to reduce them with an eye cream (I donât remember which one I think I got it at Walmart) but recently Iâve been using this eye cream from Believe Skin, the skincare line of the dollar general brand Believe Beauty, and this cream was $5 but it feels so nice and when I was looking at my eyes I noticed those wrinkles are pretty much gone. I tried squinting and they still didnât show up. Even the crease of my eyelids look so much better. I was hoping and expecting it to help my dark circles, not wrinkly eyelids but atp Iâm not sure anything will help my dark circles đ Idk sorry about the rant, I was just thinking that murad cream sounds pretty cool but it would really need to perform miracles over my random $5 dollar store find to be worth that price đ«
The only thing that could make this video better was if we got Blue Nanaâs reaction to the purple eye shadow. Thank you Jess for bing such a ray of sunshine here on CZcams.
Autumn here in Melbourne Australia. Cool mornings, lovely sunny days, cold nights. Kind of perfect đ Funny watching CZcamsrs in US and UK always in the opposite season. Xx
Iâm in colorado, and were currently experiencing spring and winter weather lol. We had a few beautiful sunny days, got snow today, and forecasted 70s and 80s next week!
I'm in Australia in the southern hemisphere. It is what we call autumn (Americans call it fall) but it's still HOT (in the 90's). I live in Queensland so we don't get snow or a really cold winter. Have you tried using a medical grade silicon face patch for your wrinkles? It does wonders! You put it on overnight and the next day your wrinkles almost disappear. You do need to do this every night to maintain the look and over time it does help your wrinkles as well.
I've been wanting to try that Bronzer from Laura Mercier. A lot of people say they don't like it. And all I need is you to confirm it! Add to cart! đ I'm also in love with the blush too.
Good job stepping out of your comfort zone. You can always try colorful eyeshadows and wash them off if you feel self conscious. I think this lilac shadow and the emerald one you tried previously both looked very pretty on you.đđ
Lovely crisp Autumn morning here where I live in Australia. Making the most of the sunshine today because the forecast for the Easter weekend is cold and lots of rain!
I'm in London and, honestly, weather is... SHAITE!!! Longest winter EVER (even though it's SPRIIING!!). Flowers are blooming pretty much everywhere but I'm still wearing my Winter coat (sigh). And... The skies are grey. Meh...!
†it's like we're two best friends sitting on the floor in the bedroom and playing with new makeup and having fun and just chit chatting like old times đ
A tip when you get mascara on your eyelids or wherever. Wait until the mascara is dry. And than whit a spoelie you can sweep it away. Or white a quetip. I find a spoelie better. Try it its so easy
Hi Jess, great video. As always, they say that sometimes you donât realize that you make a difference in other peoples lives. I needed to see your video and hang out like friends tonight. Thank you for being there, and always bring a smile to my face.
I'm in the midwest. Day before yesterday I had to turn on the AC. Yesterday, had to turn the heat back on. And with itchy, watery eyes and sneezing to boot. Always a good time. đ
It is 28 degrees Fahrenheit and snowing and feels like 15 right now where I live in Minnesota. But weâre supposed to be in the 50âs this weekend and I am ready for it! Thank you for all you do, Jessica!
Urban Decay used to make a mascara reviver called Resurrection or something like that. It was clear and softened the mascara and actually refreshed (u could also go over with another mascara over it for an even false lash look). I was gutted when they discontinued it. I was excited for this MAC version, but so far the 2 times I tried it were terrible. It gave me tarantula eyes. I even tried it on bare lashes and it gave me spider legs lashâs. My lashes look like a flocked Christmas đ! I barely did one coat. Afraid to try it again đźâđš
for murad eye wrinkle cream, i tried it for a few days and loved it, i felt like it did work. on about day 4 however, i got a strange reaction and my under eye and it got puffy, red, and started to burn... maybe it was how i used it, or something else? was super bummed since i initially enjoyed it! but i did end up returning it. so i guess if you know you have sensitive skin/eye area to be cautious! i am also 22 for reference.
I haven't tried that specific product, but literally everything from the Murad skincare line that I have tried has caused some kind of reaction or irritation. I also have sensitive skin (and acne prone, and combo/dry).
And that purple color on your lids! Omg!!! Just gorgeous Jess! In my younger years...(58 years old today.) I was definitely rocking it! Tyfs so lovely (IMO)
Can't decide what I think about the laura mercier moisturizing bronzer. Looks grt on you. The about face blush I got when they came out and i really like. I have a diff shade.
Re the Murad product: I get a similar (but milder) effect for a lot less $ with The Ordinary 's argireline. Not only does this product give me some immediate appearance improvement, but I'm noticing some lasting help for my newest or less deep lines. I noticed improvement with the first use, but after a month of twice daily use I can see lasting changes. I don't think The Ordinary says to use this on the eyelids, but I put it on the lower part of my brow bone, almost on my mobile lid, and my crepiness has greatly improved. The fine vertical lines on my upper lip have nearly disappeared. To my surprise, I'm starting to notice lessening of my deep smile crease lines. I'm in my 60s, so I have a marked loss of elasticity with the accompanying sagging, plus expression wrinkles. This product is thin and watery, with no scent I can discern. It soaks in very quickly. I will buy argireline for the rest of my life! As with every skin care product, it might not work for you and your skin. However, you will only be out under $20 and The Ordinary has a generous return policy if argireline gives you problems.
Great video Jessica! I love the purple theme. It's actually my favorite color now. You're right, let's go full spring mode! Also, would you please mention where you bought the purple clips and shirt? The waffle style looks nice.

Just starting the video but donât see the shirt youâre wearing linked in the description box! Pls tell us where itâs from, I love the color and itâs giving such cute spring vibes đ„°
Great video. You look wonderful with color on your eyes, and I love that you branched out with it. Thanks for the info on the products and the notes afterwards.
Florida weather here 80s, loving itđ„°
13degrees Celsius in Ireland. A bit windy and rainy. But we changes to summer time last week, so it's brighter in the evenings â€
Ok, Iâm not a huge fan of colored eyeshadow either, but that purple looks gorgeous on you!!!!! I love your videos, you always make me smile!
Hi Jessica, hope all is good with yourself & your family. You probably already know this tip but a spoolie brush scrapes away dried mascara perfectly. I always have one ready to go when applying mascara coz i get it everywhere.
Big 90s/ early 2000s vibes from the pastel purple, clips in the hair, juicy lipgloss. Love it!
The Dior concealer is wonderful for my 59 years old under eyes, itâs my holy grail đâ€ïž
The purple /lavender eyeshadow is sooooo pretty đđđđđ
Purple eyeshadows look stunning on you!
Jessica, where did you get that cute top? The color brings all the Spring vibes!
Snowing in my country but Jessie s nail and top screams spring â€
I remember when I worked for Estée Lauder we had a product like the Murad one and I know for sure Peter Thomas Roth has had that product for a long time. I remember seeing the amazing transformation before and after of an older women putting in below her eyes and the immediately looked firmer and younger.
Itâs funny how for most people âout of the comfort zoneâ is color but for me itâs anything neutral because my go to color is pink lol. My first pink palette was the blushed nudes from maybelline
Also while I was watching the beginning of this video, I was doing my skincare and Jess talking about the murad cream and wrinkles made me take a look at the corners of my eyes, I had some really deep wrinkles there from squinting so much and I was able to reduce them with an eye cream (I donât remember which one I think I got it at Walmart) but recently Iâve been using this eye cream from Believe Skin, the skincare line of the dollar general brand Believe Beauty, and this cream was $5 but it feels so nice and when I was looking at my eyes I noticed those wrinkles are pretty much gone.
I absolutely love the purple eyeshadow on you! đđ»âš
A bit of the light purple shimmer on top of the matte purple eyeshadow would have been hot đđ„°
Purple on you is gorgeous â€
Autumn here in Melbourne Australia. Cool mornings, lovely sunny days, cold nights. Kind of perfect đ Funny watching CZcamsrs in US and UK always in the opposite season. Xx
Do we know where there shirt is from?????? đź I love waffle material!
So pretty Jess â€
Yay! New Jess video to help get through the blizzard lol. 15 more inches and I'm about ready to leave the Midwest
You look so cute today, the eyeshadow and the outfit and the hair so refreshing! Super cute
That purple shadow looks stunning on you. Love it!
I absolutely love that purple on you!!! As a neutral lover myself, purple is my go to color when I want to wear color.
After a good MONTH of rain in LA, weâre finally getting sunny skies and warmer weather. đđ
Jess!!! Can you please turn on captions? đđŒ
LOVE the purple shadow!!!
Firstly, that purple eyeshadow looks amazing on you đ and bcs of that I have to say: Borahae! đ iykyk đ
I couldnât help but say that too đ Borahae!

I had the same reaction and thought it was just a me thing.
Love the eyeshadow!! Where is this top from?
The purple eyeshadow looks great!!! I loove the monochrome look!!
Entering fall here in Argentina and loving it!! â€
Purple is my favourite shadow colour too if I straying from neutrals.
Love that lilac shadow on you!
