Winter Cruising Lake Washington - Whaly 500R

A quick video of me taking the Whaly 500R out on Lake Washington. Nice day out on the water, even if I didn't catch any fish. Lesson learned for this trip is to have a check list and to have tools ready to assist with securing the drain plug.

Love the videos. I've been interesting in the Whaly boats as I've been narrowing down my search for for my first boat. I'm in mid coast Maine and looking to for a general purpose small family boat. (Fishing, lobsters, crabs, cruising, etc). Great detail on the videos. Can't wait for an overall review( pro/con) video.

I let my motor run idle for 20 minutes, i have a whaly 370 with a 2019 Suzuki 9.9fuel injection

How do you think the 500R would fair in the Pacific Ocean?

Is your boat really 500R with 20hp motor?

I took it around the sound and so far so good. I think as long as you look at the weather, it shouldn't be an issue. I'll try to get some footage of me out in rougher water and see how it handles, but from reviews, I think it shouldn't be a problem.
