- Took the Whaly out for some crabbing in the Puget Sound on a beautiful summer day. Always nice to be out on the water and enjoying the PNW. After watching the footage, I realized that I need a much better organization system for the boat. Crazy how messy it is with all the non essential items I have onboard. Another lesson learned as a first time boat owner! The Whaly performed great as usual for crabbing, just wish I have a bigger outboard to get places faster. I hope you guys enjoy the video and let me know if you have any questions or comments below. Thanks for watching!

Outstanding upload. I've been weighing boats for a truck top boat mount and this has definitely assisted me in that.
Great video!
That crab 🦀 in the end looked so delecious
Where did you drop the pots at? Thanks
Do you thing the Whaly 500r can handle 10 mile off shore ?
Try using cheap laundry baskets for your line management when bringing up your trap.
Thanks for the tip!
Why didn't you use the Hauler Ace Line winch to bring up the pots?
I thought I wanted some exercise pulling the pots... set up the puller after a couple pot pulls in, but didn't have any good footage of it.
I'm thinking of selling my 2020 Lund and buying a 370 model
are you in california ? how 60 will be more gas expenses compared to 20 ? thank
PNW. Definitely will hit the wallet harder, that's for sure!
What kind of transducer mount do you use?
Hi Ben, the transducer mount I used is linked in the description. It's been great for me so far.
is your battery hooked up to your motor?
No, my outboard is manual start.
